Here is an idea if you do something related to this. Code it to make it so that everytime a player is 30 blocks away from the nearest armor stand it disappears
Just a suggestion, I think giving them blindness would make it super spooky for them (if that's too limiting set fog to as close as possible), with a texture pack that adds ambience with scary music (disc 11 for vanilla scary sounds).
I suggest: Add a creepy ambiance with resource packs and make different kind of monsters. Also make monsters sometime just dissapear when its running for you and you dont see it.
i think it would be more interesting if some loot could spawn in the backrooms, maybe chests containing small amounts of food and resources could have been the focus rather than the monster
@@zabahnob8919 that's very possible, you know how the code he made, randomly generate a random room based on a random number(number of the room)? he could make a new room with a chest with random loot inside it, and make it rare, the way he made the code looks like that's possible and a bit easy to do (also, making it without walls to make the player see the loot would be nice)
Random rare chests with "almond water" (potions) and "royal rations" (steak) would be pretty cool to see, and would mimic the chance of finding supplies in the real Backrooms. It would also be cool if there were certain rooms that were safe from the monster (by using doors) with larger chests and more supplies in them (maybe even some weapons) to represent the M.E.G. bases!
i tried this, and these backrooms are too easy to escape. all you have to do is break one of the ceiling lights, mine the walls, craft planks with the spruce logs, and tower up.
this is so insane, i have no clue how to code something so i have to say good job! yeah and when Spoke screamed, when i was on his place i will scream and log off and never log on again.....
Wow, I can't believe how far you've come MrCube I first found you using your Redstone videos as tutorials for my builds after I found your channel through Reddit. You've come so far now and I'm so glad, I hope you enjoy the content you make, it's so much higher quality, and I enjoyed the video just as much as I do other RUclipsrs. I wish you luck in your RUclips career man, you deserve it.
Simple idea, yet so satysfying. I really hope to see this idea evolving into teams trying to exit with many monsters of different kind, different ways to defeat/stop/confuse them and marking walls with like drawings, a bit pvp, some goals and actuall possibility to win. Also could there be low chance of generating staircase up or down that leads to next level?
Congrats cube you have officially inspired me to make the inf back rooms in minecraft bedrock/windows 10 edition, and fun fact I am already working on it, and it going well so far, I've only came across many issues, but fret not I have solved them so far.
Lol I’m so glad that I inspired you! So this is how I did it: I had 2 armorstands. One for just the legs and one for the chest and head. Although the second armorstands is raised up slightly so it creates the allusion that the armorstands is taller but in reality it is just two armorstands one slightly taller than the other. I hope this helps! :) and thx for watching!
Great video and concept! Suggestion: have the monsters occasionally disappear and reload in different areas. Also, for the lag issue, could always make whats behind you change or dissappear
This is sick, there are so many ways to represent the backrooms in minecraft. This is personally my favorite implementation. Was it coded to be expandable with more level types? If so, it would be cool to get the community involved in creating their own levels to add to it.

6:12 me: The concept of the "backrooms" has taken the internet by storm in recent years, with countless online communities devoted to exploring and discussing this strange and intriguing phenomenon. In essence, the backrooms are said to be a series of interconnected, endless rooms that exist somewhere beyond our reality, accessible only through some sort of glitch or anomaly. The origins of the backrooms are unclear, but it's believed that the idea first emerged on 4chan, a notorious imageboard website known for its bizarre and often disturbing content. From there, the concept spread across the internet, with users describing their experiences of entering the backrooms and encountering the strange and otherworldly entities that inhabit them. There is no single description of what the backrooms look like, as each person seems to have their own unique experience. Some describe them as barren, fluorescent-lit spaces with peeling wallpaper and stained carpets, while others claim they found themselves in ornate, Victorian-style mansions with grand staircases and chandeliers. Many report encountering strange creatures and entities within the backrooms, including humanoid figures with distorted faces, giant spiders, and even sentient piles of furniture. Despite the unsettling nature of these experiences, many people are drawn to the idea of exploring the backrooms. Some believe that they offer an opportunity to glimpse a hidden part of reality, while others simply enjoy the sense of adventure and mystery that comes with venturing into unknown territory. However, there are also those who caution against attempting to enter the backrooms, warning of the potential dangers that may await those who do. Some believe that the backrooms are inhabited by malevolent spirits or entities that feed off the fear and confusion of those who stumble upon them. Others argue that simply being lost within the endless maze of identical rooms could lead to insanity or even death. Ultimately, the backrooms remain a fascinating and enigmatic topic that continues to captivate and intrigue people around the world. Whether they exist as a real, alternate dimension or simply as a shared hallucination within the collective unconscious, they offer a glimpse into the far reaches of human imagination and the enduring allure of the unknown.
One thing to note is the back rooms are not infinite and have a limited area explained by the maps but it’s still really big just to let you know still a good vid
Honestly, homie. At the point you're modifying command blocks and entities to do world generation, you should probably try trying to write your first plugin or mod in actual code. I got into programming through minecraft when I was younger, and have built a full career out of it. you should try some world generation through a bukkit plugin, it's a REALLY powerful method of creating worlds because it overrides minecraft's actual world generator. Here you are creating a world through the world generator, and modifying that world after that fact which massively increases the end world size, has limitations in performance (you didn't need a 40 block limit), and reduces lag because the primary way of sending data to and from a client, is not sending the full world, but blocks modified within the world.
I made something extremely simmalier to this a few months ago, how exactly do you clear the rooms that are in unloaded chunks? (Also, markers are much more lag friendly)
So I made it not able to clear rooms when you walk far enough. So think of it like the player is a paintbrush painting rooms wherever you walk. Because of Minecraft’s render distance wherever you walk, doesn’t matter how far, armorstands will automatically unload so the lag is relatively low. I used markers and the beginning but the switched to armorstands so I could see them to debug the generation. I just forgot to switch back to armorstands. Honestly to get this done in a week was really challenging. But I’m going to work on this some more. Thanks for watching!!
