Same. I used to have butt length hair that I ALWAYS put into a high and tight ponytail. Then my hair started thinning. I never understood why other girls had better bangs and more fullness until I realized those other ladies let their hair down so much more than I did. They also braided and did low ponytails without the extremely tight hair elastic. I'm training myself to let my hair down more. It's a challenge and one I have to learn to love with if I want my hair to look and feel better. I have personally seen improvement in the front of my scalp. Also far less head aches. On the occasion I do a high and tight ponytail, my hair follicles get so sore after only a few hours. Man I feel so bad for my teenage self who put her scalp through so much unnecessary pain!
Oh this makes me miss longer hair! I absolutely love my short bob and it's the most me haircut I've ever had, but still a shame for the high ponytail cheerleader vibes
One of my favorite tips I picked up for dealing with the short baby hairs is to take a toothbrush that I know will never be used for anything else, spray with some hair spray, and then brush the baby hairs with the hair sprayed toothbrush.
For a little lift in your ponytail, stick a bobbypin through the elastic (starting at the ponytail, pushing through the elastic towards the scalp) at the underside of your ponytail (so no one will see it). This gives a little added perkiness and helps prevent a ponytail from sagging. Keep in mind that the thicker, heavier the hair, the more boppypins you may need, and you may also need a longer boppypin. Experiment
Please upload a video on hairstyles which would not make hairline thin. Also, please tell how to avoid thinning hairline while wearing hair in a ponytail.
Yes! I need a variety on hairstyles that look nice an are gentle on the scalp. I lost so much hair from vitamin d deficiency and don't want to make it worse.
My hair is always in a ponytail since I still can't get a hair cut from where I am. I used to need to fix my ponytail every three or four hours since it loosens once in a while. I tried the first technique today and for some reason, I haven't the need to fix it. Life-changing! Thank you!
Ciera Hall great especially when I have clients that compliment my work and how good they feel after getting their hair done but the best people are the kids they can’t stay out of the mirror lol
Hello Lucy :) I wanted to ask you: is it your natural hair color? Cause I've been looking for extensions but I've always been told I would have a hard time finding something matching with my color cause I don't dye my hair at all so natural colors never perfectly fit with standard extensions colors. And it looks like your hair are not dyed (and the color is very similar to mine) and yet the extensions are matching perfectly.
This video has come at the perfect time for me! I'm currently growing my hair and have just got to the point where I can get it up into a high ponytail. However, I need to perfect my technique and this video has shown me exactly how!
Your voice is so calming. 🤗🤗 I love to watch your video's, special when I need to relax my mind and to feel positive. :* Lot's of love from India ❤️😍😚😍
I loved your video Lucy ☺️ great tips 💖 btw, do you know any tips on how to avoid getting a headache when you wear a ponytail? I feel like my hair is too heavy so I can only wear that hairstyle for a few minutes 😭
I did a double-take when I saw the thumbnail for this. The last look reminds me a lot of Jessica Vill's retro 50's bobby soxer look. Beautifully done. :)
I've been wearing a high ponytail most of the time for many years. My biggest issues are: hair sliding out of it, or the ponytail sliding down, even if the rubber band is as tight as it gets. The way I get the elastic to stay taught while changing hands is to cross it over before I switch
This isn't an ad, but I've been loving the brand Pro Hair Tie for keeping ponytails tight and secure, and they're super easy to take out too (my hair is long and tangles in normal hair ties)
I love a sleek ponytail but i dont like hair ties i only use scrungies and i also have the hair perfectly behind both ears with skeek middle part i also like. A sleek bun. My favorite vis down tucked perfectly behind both ears with a sleek middle part with big hoop earrings to finish the look. Any one else like those styles like that
My hair is pretty thick…sometimes when I put my hair up in a ponytail, my ponytail tends to naturally split into two locks instead of just staying as one…does anyone have any advice how to fix this?
step 1: dont have crazy baby hair .. guess i just have to stick with ugly pony tails forever .. and no, hairspray/wax/whatever does not help, only bobby pins ..
This video just changed my life. I love high ponytails but I could never get them right. Thank you so much
Same I always feel like my hair looks weird in a ponytail 🤣

I cut my bangs in quartine so same
you have really gorgeous hair!
Oh this makes me miss longer hair! I absolutely love my short bob and it's the most me haircut I've ever had, but still a shame for the high ponytail cheerleader vibes
Oh same ! Love the short look cus it doesn’t distract from my face but I miss swinging that thang side to side lol
bobs just make you feel so sassy, but there's so much you can do with long hair...I am constantly torn about whether or not to cut my hair again
Nah I don't, I hate how ponytails look on me 😔
I love your channel anyway but as a guy who is just growing his hair out and never had long hair in his life before, this was really helpful 👌
Good luck bro! I wish you many good hair days.
One of my favorite tips I picked up for dealing with the short baby hairs is to take a toothbrush that I know will never be used for anything else, spray with some hair spray, and then brush the baby hairs with the hair sprayed toothbrush.
Or a good very strong hold gel. That works even better.
You're so pretty ❤️❤️

It hurts my head so much when i use my bobby pins!!

Mini Kaur same. It looks amazing but hurts like hell.
The ponytail with extensions was gorgeous. Well done. x

Looser ponytails don't stress your hairline but don't stay as high
@@TheConfusedhero you lost hair due to vitamin d deficiency? I'm losing too much hair I don't know the reason

oml I needed this so much, thank you!!!
Nice, I was wondering about a few of those points and how my granddaughters did it.
I love making really voluminous top knots with extensions in the exact same way! 😊
Dear I love your hair color very much.... Which hair color you used and which brand???? ❤❤❤

It is my natural colour, and I've had no problem finding matching extensions even online 😁 Don't let it stop you!

Using bungee elastics has completely changed my pony tail game (elastics designed to work like the regular elastic and Bobby pin combo)
Lucy is really coming through for us guys who are growing our hair out for the first time during the Backstreet Boys World Tour.
Your videos are always so useful. Love it ❤️
I was not aware that this was a problem 🤔😕 but I still watched the whole video 😂♥️
wow! never knew you looked too cute with pony tale.
Where did you get the hair extensions? They blend nicely with your natural hair ✨

Cool! Where can you get that type of hairbrush? The link in the description doesn't work :(
Most places that sell hair accessories or hair care products will have something similar, in my experience. They're available in drugstores over here
Leospie you look like katrina ( Indian actress) . When you have high ponytail with bangs

damn those longhaired days
My hair is wavy and stubborn. I already do many of the things mentioned here but my hair just doesn't like to cooperate
It is so not possible to not have crush on you. I am not sure if I want to be like you or be with somebody like you.
haha i think I have the same feelings towards her.
Tight pony tails can recede hairline if you do them in a long run 😞
If you're doing then everyday, yeah
yay
you so cute
ah yes ponytails, a challenge my handling-hair inept hands can sort of handle
*cries in curly hair*
First!
A video that shows how to do a ponytail 😂
The video is how to “perfect” a ponytail. How to neaten, place extensions, etc. There’s a difference, don’t you agree?
step 1: dont have crazy baby hair .. guess i just have to stick with ugly pony tails forever .. and no, hairspray/wax/whatever does not help, only bobby pins ..
