Every climb is 5.0 if you start from the top and just rappel down

So sad to hear about the deaths and missing mountaineers on Shishapangma. Is there a commercial contributor to this tragedy that should be discussed? Although the sherpas were undoubtedly super experienced, can the same be said for their clients? Avalanche risk assessment needs good training and experience.

I really appreciate the news videos you guys put lots of effort in! Just wanted to point out that lately I've noticed an increased focus on grades... Especially with clickbaity titles... Nothing necessarily wrong with that, maybe that's what your target audience wants to watch. but I believe climbing is so much more than just big numbers and debates about who's got the biggest number 😏 I know you know it, and I still love the content you make

thanks for the feeback @edoartworks, for sure its a balance, and we agree its not just about numbers, I think the last couple of weeks the two big stories have been grade related, with Jakob and Pete's grading of their routes, ironically both in the same country, maybe its a Norwegian grade problem? 😅in any case thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🤘

Interesting discussion about changing the grade of a climb because of different beta. So this is obvious to pro climbers? This will be a nice argument to use in future short people beta discussions.

Chemistry shemistry - as if people can be 'uphappybouncysmileycool' EVERY time the camera goes on. Social media watchers getting their content for free and bitching about it anyways ... rolling my eyes till I'm looking out my ears.

Night grades, then ….get this ….”climate grades”
_not this won’t lead to more accidents_ climbers will obviously just start evolving like ants, wasps and beetles
