Truly a beautiful line and the atmosphere of the ascent was so fitting! Very tranquil. No power screams this time. Like paying respect to Francesco's passed grand mother. Liked how also the crowd was keeping quiet while witnessing the ascent, just the belayer encouraging Adam on. Congratz for the first ascent!
Hey Adam! A few weeks ago i receive a client from Prague here in Costa Rica, she was surprised that i knew about you! You inspire people from all over this planet. What you do on the rock is animal power! Be well crazy diamond!
8:18 when you realize Adam never climbs without an audience 😁 Again another great example of documenting a first ascent. Paying respect to the ones who bolted it, a bit of history and showcasing the beauty of the climbing itself. Emotion and motivation worth getting inspired to.
8:20 A timeless scene in any sport, any time and anywhere: strong athletes watching a peer do their thing, smiles and raw/primal joy all around. Congrats on the send and thanks for sharing. Great video.
Imagine being absolutely boxed out your mind, legs shaking, forearms exploding, you’ve skipped the last draw and have a big runout to the chains, then you go to clip the anchor and it’s got a locked screw gate onit 🤣, finishing jugs or not my arse would drop out my pants 🤣🤣🤣
Nice the see the thrilled and famous crowd there in front of this beautiful wall to watch Adam showing again incredible climbing technique. Franz had an beautiful idea for the name of the route.
Had a look through the comments there and didn't see anything about what I want to say. Firstly, a great looking line and looks like awesome climbing. Secondly I noticed you made a series of changes to the opening sequence. Changes to beta (bring the right foot up for the first long move up), Clipping (skipped second quickdraw on send go when previously clipped and had extended the third to make the position better). My reason for bringing these up is that It would be great to see that process as I would be sure that a few people will not have noticed these subtle but important changes. We all spend a bit of time hanging at a bolt figuring these things out to make a sequence possible or just make it easier, Watching you and other top levels athletes go through similar processes would be great to see. Obviously not practical to put it all up there and these things take time, but glimpses. Anyway thanks for reading. Happy climbing
Good of you to notice this change in beta. I went back and see how he skips the second bolt and extended the third one on his send. I totally agree that it would be totally cool to have witnessed that process. Also, I would love to have a better view of these holds. We have been spoiled by Stefano I think who showed us every detail on Bibliography. But probably we should not address Adam for this but the production team that creates these videos about him.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!! That first half of the video showed the rest of us that you are actually human too. After your incredible on-sight record it is nice to see that you don't just flash everything and that 9a climbing takes work! Amazing job as always and thanks for the vid.
So inspiring. Incredible line, incredible wall, nice story,. Looking at the route and considering your attempts and efforts to find the correct way, i'm Pretty sure no one is downgrading it... ;-) Such a great job, congratulations!
Great adam! beautiful video, I loved it when you fell and said "impossible". From that moment on you didn't give up and immediately afterwards you tried again and you made it! Adam is the best
Much respect to Adam for letting his friend keep the name of the route, very nice memory for his grandmother. Climbers can be a little petty now and again lol
The pungitopo in Bologna, and only there, is called rusco which means garbage because food was thrown in it to prevent mouse getting to it Great video as usual

Agreed, that crowd shot was the cherry on top
the unexpected scene at 8:17 is amazing, like a chapel full of worshipers in adoration, inside a rock cathedral immersed in a sacred wood
Can't stand they Europeans yelling Ali Ali Ali stfu

It must be nice to be Adam and have people ask him to come climb amazing lines all the time :)
Hard work pays off, the amount of time and dedication he puts into it is next level.
I wonder whether the line was offered to Ghisolfi too?
@@suezix8689 He was right there, who could stop him?:D
@@jozefhorniak8191 no idea. it's not his style but who knows
@@suezix8689 Stefano is my good friend too, we tried the line also the same day of Adam's F.A.
It was truly special!
so cool to see the whole group cheering up, including Stefano and the local old-schooler
Franz seems like an absolutely great dude to be with!

it's amazing how much panic or self preservation overrides pump in these situations!
That is indeed a beautiful wall, and always a pleasure to watch Adam's process!

Beautiful climb, those moves look so technical! Great job Adam!!
I was at that crag beginning of May and looked at that wall barely seeing more than a flat wall. Amazing to see Adam climb on it =)
This man is special! I love how technical his climbing style is.
Fantastic line. Reminds of great sport lines back in the 80s. Wonderful brake from overhangs and kneebars, 100% climbing!
Eres increíble Adam. Muy bueno el final con la referencia a los frutos y a la abuela de Franz
The photography of this video is amazing. Beautiful images, this line looks really aesthetic, lucky you Adam!
Man...I didn't expect to get the sad grandmother feels along with my climbing viewing. Great name and remembrance.

A classic O2 and hopefully a good addition to the O0s and 01s of the crag
