I love the videos that you do by yourself. You’re kind and respectful and you don’t make it personal. You recognize that these people (I’ve been one of them) are caught up in something that they don’t see when they’re in it. You don’t use threatening or dramatic tones and above all, it’s respectful and thought provoking. I love how you ask “let’s think about this” or “what do you think”. You’re opening peoples eyes not making them defensive. You’re doing good work!

I was in Beachbody as a coach…..I was told to rank advance by signing up my mom with my credit card and then I signed up my best friend using my debit card to rank advance. This is what I was told to do and then put people under and build them. Everything she’s saying is what they say!!!!
I was also told to scroll Facebook and search for people like me….friend them….and send a “omg cute shoes” or “where did you get that shirt?” Message to form the relationship with the next goal being to invite them. It felt so sleazy! I didn’t do it for long.

I LOVED Hip Hop Abs. I couldn’t believe that Beach Body got into this MLM mess. I am definitely going to do an interview with a former Beach Body rep for my channel. What they’re doing is awful. People with no nutrition or fitness training trying to “coach” ppl. It’s dangerous!

Exactly! I remember doing P90X with my friends in the fitness room of the dorms at my boarding school, senior year because we wanted to look all fit and toned in our strapless high-low dresses at prom. (2012 lol) That was the only time I had anything to do with Beachbody until I got into anti-mlm about a year ago and found out Beachbody was one. What a damn disappointment! I don't have to even really like a company to be mad when I find out its an mlm and it's even worse to me when a company starts off normal and then switch.
So happy you’re covering Beachbody! I can’t believe I got sucked in but I learned a lot. Now I’m an actual certified/educated fitness pro coaching people the right way. Thank you for your respectful coverage of this call - nothing has changed since I left BB in 2017.

This just happened to me the other day. I don’t know her, but had messaged 1 or two times back in 2018. I had success in both, but Im not into the MLM model anymore.

It paves the way for a healthy & respectful discussion/ inquisition. High School Friends😆😆😆 "Remember me from 20 years ago, want to join my mlm?" I feel like this slide only confirms how slimy mlm reps have to be. I remember when my brain was in this mode when I was in UBAM. Every person and interaction was viewed as how I could connect them to "my amazing opportunity". I'm so glad I get to just interact authentically with people now.

I will never forget one of the upline coaches in my org telling us on a team training that we should be buying every single product Beachbody offered because if we don’t believe in the products, how can we convince others to lol I was like, um no. I’m not buying beachbody’s skincare line! No! 🙄

The way they train to get to emerald is sooooo scammy and ridiculous. If You put 3 accounts on one credit card you're out almost 500 a month! Just for the autoship/commission qualify. And then you're also stuck working 3 businesses at once. They all talk about the shoutout like it's better than gold but who is seeing it? A bunch of other coaches. Useless.

What I find fascinating is, I have noticed lately the anitmlm community has been using the words “not sustainable” more and more recently. It’s interesting that now they are using the words describing the “business” as a “sustainable business”. Total very slick damage control, in my opinion of course.

Being in a business is not altruistic, you know. You in a business because you want to make money. In mlm they said oh I'm doing this to help people, I want them to also be successful in this same business that I'm. You tell yourself that because you don't want to face the reality that you want to make money and the only way to do it its by recruiting. If you really want to help people there are so many ways to do it that don't involve an mlm.

They love to say that the comp plan is so simple, but the different bonuses are so complicated. Also, getting 4 success club points doesn't automatically mean you hit emerald. Sometimes people just buy challenge packs and don't do anything else.
You can sign up your spouse, but they are supposed to work the business themselves and use the products purchased under that account. Like 99 percent of coaches break this policy and just work it as a 'spouse account'
You cycle every time your strong leg hits 200 personal volume points and your weak leg hits 100. Just like most MLMs, the products all have a certain point value and coaches can get their PV covered by purchasing. So, pretty much you cycle when your coaches buy their PV requirements.

Yup. My upline told me to purchase what I needed to stay active on my personal account and then everything else under a spouse account so that they’d also be active and I’d get volume from it. 😐

It could have changed but last I heard you aren’t allowed to control a spouses account in beach body (clearly they don’t care but it’s allegedly against the rules)
What she also isn’t telling you is the now you are paying for two monthly autoships and two 15 monthly back office fees. And if you want to hit success club you have to spend 90 BV in your autoship not just 50.

@@ErinBies back off fee might not be the correct terminology it’s technically called a “business fee” but I know you do have to pay 15 dollars a month as an active coach on top of your auto ship just to stay a coach
@@starriezze $15.95 a month and they also now have a "preferred customer" level which means you get the 25% "discount" but you aren't a coach and I believe you also have to pay the $15.95 a month fee too.
It’s a team training. I say that because at the beginning she said some of you may have only enrolled two days ago and don’t know what any of this means. But still, if you didn’t hear that, you really wouldn’t know… Except that she’s not yet showing all the lifestyle photos and hyping it up like she would on an opportunity call!

All of these comp plan explanations are so beyond complicated. I am not very familiar with MLMs (I think because I don't have social media account's), so I have never got a hun message. I only hear about these things from family and friends. This stuff is so confusing! I don't know how anyone can follow or understand the plans!!!
I don’t even think the MLMers understand them. I’ve watched anti MLM and they’re all confusing. I think they do it on purpose to underpay people and dodge the law.

I have been out of MLM for more than 3 years. In order to make passive income, I decided to learn how to invest in the stock market. Nothing crazy. I’m not day trading, just simple investing every couple weeks.
Now making over 2 grand each month in dividends. If only I had learned this instead of wasting my time with the MLM.
