    I did so much yoyo/fad diets for years and would lose and gain weight like nuts. I never kept it off until I smartened up and kept it simple. Whole foods, "real foods" eating in moderation. Sticking to a serving size. Focusing my meals around veggies and protein. I stopped counting numbers, points, ext. And implimented a saying my mom would always say growing up, "keep it simple stupid"

    Yeah i am going with how i feel and how my mobility changes. I have been on a weight loss journey and this is my most successful run in years since before i was a full time wheelchair user. Im only able to judge my success by how things feel and my mobility, i cannot weigh in like most other people because i cannot stand hardly at all. Which is driving me crazy because i wanna know how much i have lost because i can tell its a decent amount due to how much better my mobility is but yeah... Anyway thats enough to judge how it is going. So yall please remember you dont need to go by the number on the scale. Go by how your pain is, your cardio shape, how your clothing fits, or measure your body. Dont relay how good your day will be etc on what the scale says! You got this

    I never did keto but whenever i did limit my carbs for a while but it is not sustainable to live that way. I’m just so much happier in general when i can just enjoy whatever I’m eating to ever trying to restrict myself.

    We don't keep a scale in my home. My wife and I agreed a long time ago that it is not helpful...mentally and emotionally. So, we just continue having regular visits with our doc and consult him or someone he refers us to if there are any concerns

    Oh Sheryl!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. I am seeing so many Pruvit gals “getting back on track” and you are so right …if those darn ketones were working ..they wouldn’t need to get back on track! And I know we don’t comment on appearances but Sheryl to me looks really tired and pale or something..probably those heavy metals..

    There are no private homes in my circle but there's a lot of plexus ones. They recently have been pushing a detox. They also regularly do those recent things in their company keeps coming out with new products to "reset.". I want to post if your products that you're pushing regularly do their job why do you constantly have to detox or reset? I want to find some actual scientific papers that say detoxing is not necessary. At least I have some magazine articles that talk to doctors at reputable health institutions explaining you don't need to use somebody's supplements to detox. I haven't had the courage to post it yet but I should and just not worry about the outcome. I really do want to know how many plexus products these people take because of course they have to be a product of the product. And I'm waiting for the day that plexus changes to an affiliate model.

    Seriously. How does she know it's the Peuvit products doing the work, when she is making all kinds of changes at the exact same time, that will help yield the same results? 🤷‍♀️

    These ketones will put you in ketosis in under an hour & all you’ve gotta do is drink them, meal prep, cutout carbs, if you go out to eat order a chic Cesar w/ no croutons & work out… && you’re gonna drop SO much weight from the ketones!!! It’ll cost you $300+/month. Isn’t that SO exciting?!? It’s like they don’t hear themselves. It’s so sad that the reps that don’t know better spend their little to no profit on these products & that they rope in so many of the ppl that are understandably confused by what to eat.🤦🏽‍♀️😵‍💫

    The only time 25lb loss in 6 weeks would be ok is if you were morbidly obese & you are working with a licensed healthcare professional/registed dietitian to help you with your weightloss journey

      Depending on other ongoing health issues or concerns it is not even recommended for SOME morbidly obese people (mainly those with diabetes) as it may mess with their glucose/insulin levels.

    I don't understand how these people are so comfortable giving this advice while not being qualified to do so. They only bought a starter kit and probably a crap ton of other products but it doesn't qualify them to teach people about dieting. I don't know why health and wellness MLMs are not banned as they're more harmful to the general public.

    I will say, just as another perspective, that I’ve tried meal planning and it just doesn’t work for me. I’m very likely autistic (working on getting a diagnosis atm) and food is a s t r u g g l e. I could plan out a whole week and not want any of it after buying everything. Of course this is a personal thing. I think it’s awesome that people can plan their week and take that stress out of the equation. I guess I’m saying this because when she said “if you don’t plan your week you end up eating garbage” it really annoyed me. I try very hard to eat a balanced diet. Sometimes my brain just refuses to cooperate and I gotta eat something that may not be the greatest, but it’s better than not eating. She just really put me off with that comment 💩

    • @ilikebeingsmart
      @ilikebeingsmart 3 месяца назад +1

      This is such a relief to read. I have a proper diagnosis for autism and food is hard for me too. I can’t eat a lot of fruits because of textures, especially the fruits with lots of seeds. Even bananas are iffy sometimes even though I like them, and I scoop out ANY of the black spots. My solution, until I work through some of my disordered eating issues on top of all this, is to eat more salads because I won’t get tired of them. There are days where I just don’t want to eat, or I lose track of time and forget I haven’t eaten and, like you said, something is better than nothing, even if it means driving through a fast food line to get a sandwich.
      Also, meal planning is hard because that means more time in a grocery store which can be overwhelming depending on my sensory tolerance that day. I have a short route and a long route planned out, and then can add on if I have higher tolerance. I think sometimes neurotypical people don’t realize that normal life is exhausting to live, and “just eat healthy and exercise it’s simple” isn’t really all that simple. I know Erin gets it, which is why I’m here, but that is what irks me about a lot of diet/exercise discourse online.
