- Learn the best way to host an online webinar using Zoom. To help with selecting the best tools for online business, I’ve put together this checklist of all the tools I use. ►► www.timpeakman...
Webinars, as we now know them, were adopted during the advent of online training and education. For educational institutions, they are simply a way to deliver an online class to a large audience, from anywhere in the world. They can either be delivered live or recorded. Both work great.
More recently, online business owners have used webinars to sell their products and services to their audience.
Whilst webinars work well at converting subscribers into customers, there are quite a few technical elements that all need to be linked up for a webinar to be delivered successfully. And it’s a question that I have been getting a lot recently: “How do I deliver a Webinar using Zoom?”
So in this video, you will learn:
1. Which Zoom Webinar licence you should start with and how to add an additional user to your account to support as a co-host during your webinar.
2. What recommended settings you should use so that you can host a smooth webinar and get the most engagement from your students.
3. How to ensure that your replay is captured correctly from your webinar, if you are offering this for those who don’t attend live.
These days, the term webinar has been a bit overused by those in sales. So online business owners prefer to use terms such as masterclass, workshop or webclass - but they should all follow the same formula: teach something of value and then offer more to those who want to go deeper.
Enjoy the process, no matter the outcome.

Hello! Thanks for this tutorial! If I want to allow someone to help me with the chat, primarily, can I just make them a co-host or do I need to purchase the additional user license for them to help with the chat and maybe starting a poll, etc?
Hey Melissa, great question - thanks for posting. Yes, anyone you wish to be a co-host on your webinar (to run the chat or create pols) will need to have an additional zoom user licence under your account. I’d recommend to just purchase a monthly add on. Hope this helps.
thanks
You’re so welcome. 🙏🏼
how to replay recorded webinar?
Hi Marek - If you offer your audience a replay of your webinar, it's always a good idea to download the recording from Zoom and make any edits you like, before uploading it to a stand-alone landing page. Then you can position this landing page directly after the registration page during the cart open week. Hope this makes sense to you. Let me know if you have any further questions. :)
We're stuck with a annual webinar licence for 10,000 attendees...Zoom don't want to refund. We're looking for someone to buy this licences that host such webinars.
Sorry to hear this Nicolas. I hope you find someone. 🙏🏼
You assumed that a webmeeting has interruptions of voice or videos,,, Thats Wrong !
you can Silence users on Webmeeting...but allow them text chats to either each other ,or to Moderator or to panelist or all.
You’re totally correct Cyberjock56. There is more than one way to skin a cat. 🤓 This is just my preferred method, and not the only way. 👍🏼
Hi, thank you so much for your video. I’m still not clear between meeting & webinar. I’m trying to build Kajabi live webinar with Zoom.
If my guests will be less than 100 people, can I just create a meeting on Zoom and use the link on Kajabi? Or should I still purchase a webinar license?
Hey Pattern Studio, thanks for posting your question. Yes, you can technically make this work. However, participants can use their audio and video in a meeting. This could get quite distracting if you’re not careful. During a webinar, the only video and audio is from the presenter. Just think of a zoom webinar as one way communication and a zoom meeting as two way. Hope this helps?
@@timpeakman Thank you so much for your answer! I got it now.
@Pattern Studio 101 - that's so great to hear! I might create another video on this soon, so I can go deeper into the differences between the two. If you have any more questions, just ask! 😀
Could they have made it anymore complicated??? Ffs
I get it. Zoom is designed for a lot of different call functions. If you would like a simpler option, you should check out StreamYard. ruclips.net/video/J7Pqf5lK9FI/видео.html. This may be more to your liking. 🤓
Thank you, very clear and helpful tips.
Sure thing Riham, you’ve every welcome. So glad you found it helpful. 🙌🏽
very helpful. what's the best way to make slides for zoom webinar?
Hey Donna. Great question. I personally like to use Google Slides as they are collaborative and shareable. You could also use Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote. It’s all down to preference. Any of these would work for sharing on a zoom webinar. Hope this helps. 😁
Any tips on how to share a link/CTA to get folks to take the next step? I'm surprised that Zoom Webinar still doesn't have this feature, other than just pasting a link in the chat. Tell me there's a better way!!
Hey @GeekyBobbin - thanks for posting your question. So I like to do a number of things: I like to have a URL that you can easily say, I also like to have this URL on the slide so they can read it, I also like to copy and paste this URL into the chat so they have something to click on. But I also recommend using a QR code. If they are watching the webinar on their desktop or laptop, they can simply take a picture using their phone and get directed straight to the sales page. Simply google "QR code generator" or use a service like this. www.qr-code-generator.com/ It's super simple. Hope this helps.
Great Information.... What if the other person I want to HOST has his own pro license?
Thank you so much Guy. What a great question. So if someone already has a license within their own account, you can make them a co-host for your webinar, but NOT a host. Hope this helps. 🤓
@@timpeakman Thank you!! So I will have them as a coHost - We are doing a "test" meeting this week ! You put out great content.
@guycourtney6807 excellent. Always a smart idea to run a tech check. Best of luck! 🤓
i wish you told us more about the builtin kajabi webinar solution rather to pay zoom webinars if you have used it
Hi Khaled, thanks so much for your comment. The Kajabi function is not strictly a webinar, it’s more like a zoom meeting where people can share their screens. Plus they have to actually be inside your community to join. So Zoom Webinars are still a great tool for people to simply register for a webinar. No doubt I will create a video on Kajabi Communities soon. Watch this space. 🤓
You solved my problem Tim brother . Love from India...
Amazing! So glad this video solved your problem. I appreciate your comment. 🙏🏼
Appreciate this Tim!! Zoom is my go to tool for virtual meetings!! 🤟💯 thank you for breaking down the zoom webinar!
My pleasure RD. Let me know if you have any questions about using the webinar function specifically. 🤓
Another great video Tim, really useful and well explained!

Hi
Hi Buwanjith. How can I help you? 🤓
@@timpeakman yes
@Tim Peakman sir I am a tuition teacher in Sri Lanka and I am doing online classes for our students. Can you give me a free webinar meeting so that I can conduct classes for those students?
@@BuwanjithMovindu please email any requests of this nature to tim@timpeakman.com
@Tim Peakman Oh sir thank you so much 🙏 I do upcountry dancing totally free teaching my kids ..........
Very good introduction to Zoom webinars. Thank you!
Thanks for the comment. So glad you found it helpful. 🤓
Wow, you have saved me so much time, ty!!
Amazing. Love giving people the gift of time. The most precious commodity. 🤓
Hi Tim! Thank you for sharing this video. Am I able to set up a pre recorded presentation for a portion of the live webinar? Does the face have to be in the little corner ?
Great questions, thank you for posting. 1. Yes, you can play elements of pre-recorded video within your webinars. If you’re using zoom, there is a setting to be able to play screen sound, so just make sure you test it. 2. No your face doesn’t have to be shown in the corner. This is a preference. You can, but I find that it sometimes distracts audiences from the slides if you do. Hope this helps. 🤓
@@timpeakman thank you very much. Appreciate it.
It’s my pleasure. Glad I could help.
I’m rewatching this Tim and I want to be clear before I purchase the webinar add on- Can I pre-record a video presentation and upload it to go live as opposed to going live and then having the replay to use later on- I hope you understand what I’m asking but I want to host the webinar live but with a video that I create outside of zoom. Am i able to upload a video I create outside of zoom to go live on a specific date ?
@@rubieallee yes I understand your question. Whilst this is possible, it’s a bit clunky in zoom and would require manual tasks. If your primary focus is to live stream a pre-recorded presentation, I would recommend you use something like StreamYard. It’s also cheaper than zoom. I did a video on this here: ruclips.net/video/J7Pqf5lK9FI/видео.html
