Once my boyfriend was telling me and my parents a story about how Finland has reintroduced beavers to the wild and they were actually a different type of beaver to the one originally native to the area but it took a while to realise because they built dams that were very similar. He then said “they’re damn imposters” and I laughed way more than I should have.
Those sponsors can be quite generous though. I remember Mr. Beast first sponsor gave him 10k and he gave it all. So my guess Curve also gave Max around 10k as well. So Max have at least 4k pocketed unless he need to pay for gas and probably fine if the govt isn't as kind (and we're talking about the nanny state here)
Max should make death note irl, where he hires two private investigators to investigate each other without knowing each other's name or face and whoever figures out the other persons identity wins.

So it's probably not easy for us to get the joke because 1. we are non-native speakers and 2. we know the London "slang" even less than "normal" English...😅 My grandmother's best friend lives in London and she told me once that they call it tube... Fortunately I did remember that after a few minutes... Without that knowledge I would have had no chance to understand the joke. But it's quite funny😆
