I was just getting bored of RUclips...and begrudgingly telling myself to go do some housework... Then sweet Natasha popped up to save me from drudgery.... 😁 Ok, I'm less than 30 seconds in and swooning! Those covers are just ridiculously beautiful! That Kraft card and script in the middle is stunning. They all are! I don't even know why I'm surprised at this point... You do it every single time. You could take used surgical swabs and make something gorgeous. Right, getting comfy, let's go! 😁😁😁
Hi Natasha! I am a big fan and haven't commented before, but I just wanted to thank you for your hard work. I just love your ideas. I also love your delightful voice and manner. Hugs to you.
Natasha, you are such a thorough teacher. You consider every possible glitch and address it. I also love how it sounds as if you're chatting with us one-on-one. Thank you, thank you!
Natasa - Yes Please for doing a series like this - i absolutely love what you did today - i needed an idea for my journal cover - was going to use a stencil and texture paste - but - this is much more beautiful and exactly a style i love - thank you so much for your inspiration 🤗🤗i do hope everyone will say yes for a series - this will be very exciting xx
Aaaannnndddd..... We have another winner❤️💫 This is an incredible idea. I feel like it would still be really pretty, even if you're not using the prettiest paper. You are the master at your craft. Thank you again, Natasa, for another amazing tutorial!! 💞🥰
I’d love to see a little series on projects like this. This turned out beautifully and can be utilized in so many different ways. I enjoyed watching this and have it spark my own creative ideas. Thank you Natasa
I love this idea!! Of showing the diagram and finished project first, then drawing and doing the project step by step. It's stuck in my memory so much better this way!! You're an excellent teacher!! Thank you and God bless you!! 😊❤️
I'd love to see more like this. So easy to follow and adapt. It could be a journal cover, page topper, hinged flip, etc. and the back could be a writing board.
Can’t wait to implement this. Thank you so much for all of your inspiration and tutorials. Junk Journaling is pretty much saving my life right now as I work through some stress from family and health. I’m so grateful I found you! ❤
Natasha- I want to say how wonder you are as both a crafter and a teacher. I have been making journals thanks to you. I learned how to tea dye paper, how to make signatures and bind them, how to do all the details for a journal such as charms, tassels, beads, pockets, tags, etc. I love this project and just want to thank you… When someone compliments me on my work I always say that I was taught by my teacher Natasha! I am so appreciative and grateful for you 🥰
You are just a wealth of creativity! I've commented on this before and I will again...your collection and choice of paper always takes my breath away. They always blend well together and display such a beautiful final product. Just love your work ❤
I always get so excited when I see a notification that you posted a video 🥰 I just have to watch it right away. Thank you for all your inspiration and for taking so much time to share with us.
Love this design, I don't usually go for hearts. I still struggle with cover designs so a series of this type of thing would be great, thank you. I love that you don't use printables because I don't either with my journalling.
Thank you Natasha. These are such a great idea. As always beautiful. I really don’t know how you sew such beautiful straight lines. I guess with lots of practice. Love your inspiration.
I absolutely love this Natasha! Thank you so much for your inspiration, you are so creative and you teach it so well you are easy to follow. You are so organized from the time you start until you finish, thanks so much again.
I look forward to seeing your videos pop up. I watched this one 3 times and each time I was inspired to make one or five. I think I will make some using letters as my “cut out”. Maybe a W for my last name. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas with us. I can’t wait for the next video. Lisa
LOVE this!! Using your basic tutorial and incorporating shapes..the finished designs are endless!! I'm currently working on a Halloween/fall journal and thinking that a pumpkin and leaf shape in place of the heart are on my list!! Absolutely love your videos!! Thank you, Natascha🥰
Absolutely beautiful. Wow! You come up with the greatest ideas. Awesome. Have a great day. I can't wait to do this. Yes, that would make a great series.
Absolutely gorgeous. Younexplain everything so well. Since binging your channel, my sister said you’ve broken me. I watch, then out the door to buy stuff, and again and again. ❤ I’m rejuvenated in doing paper again from my 20 years of digital.
How lovely. My mind is jumping already about making these! Being a visual learner, I so enjoy the diagram instructions that you offer. You are an encouraging teacher! Yes, I would love to see you do more of this design! 👍🤗💕
I ❤ this so much. The idea for the series? Yes, please! Maybe some type of shaker card or noise maker (bells) for the tag? Or, incorporate some of your gorgeous faux rice paper. Thank you. This is so pretty!
Wow! Love it love it. Not only is it beautiful it is also so versatile. Journal cover, book page, Journal card. Such a lovely idea you have come up with another great one. Love your channel Natasha.
I often watch what you do and I just absolutely love the way you think of every annoying obstacle! Gives so much value to your work. You are so gifted with fun creativity.
Dear Natasha, I was just looking for something special to give to a dear friend, who will retire in December. Your amazing and easy to do project came just in time! Instead of doing reports for my students, I´m crafting now! ;-) Thanks for sharing and "fühl dich umarmt" (hugs to you)!
I love this project! It can be copied exactly as is, or you could use your imagination and the variations would be endless. You can fancy it up, use muted or bright color combinations, make it grungy, or whatever comes to mind. Thanks, Natasa, for this great tutorial!
Love it, please continue this genre/series at least once in a while in the future (a playlist?). With this video I opened a brand-new section on my Pinterest board for Junk Journals and I called that ‘Design by Formula’. One day, when I am retired, I might start a channel with that name, that is how I love it. You come up with a design (or borrow idea pieces from social media into collage of ideas) and then figure out the easiest “step-by-step” for it as well as the list of applications. Doing stuff by formula is perfect for days when I really want to create something but have a limit of time. This way I can save on upfront thinking and still create something interesting
I always get excited when I see a new video from you. I had to wait this week but loved the thumbnail when I saw it. I just curled up on my bed and settled my dog next to me so we could enjoy it. I can’t wait to try it out! Love the acetate, it finishes it nicely. I think I’ll sew it at the top (the 4th side) too, before I make it into a pocket so that it’s sure not to catch there, I hope that makes sense 🤔 Your video was the Perfect antidote to the Monday blues! Thank you!
Another awesome idea Natasa, you are a natural born teacher, A person might think that teaching is your profession. Well, it is because it is a part of your business and you are very good at it You prove to people that they too can be creative if they follow your system They can't fail, you are a natural born teacher, and we are very lucky to have you take the time to teach us as well So again thanks for being so awesome and easy to follow. Take Care and Big Hugs and Smiles
Good morning sunshine! This exactly what I need!! I was involved in a daily challenge many months back - I actually have a couple pages left to do and had NO idea what to do with the cover that might incorporate everything that's in the book! Now I know that the hardest part will be picking a few papers for the background(s) and the part I was most worried about - a focal point and describing what's inside will be the easiest - I'llwrite it on the tag! ...see how wonderful you are??!?? Thank you SO much. Love and hugs like always, MK ❤️🤗🏜🤗❤️
Love this heart design idea. It will be perfect for making valentines. Natasha, your eye for matching colors is perfection. Also, I love your idea for a series of designs and I will be looking forward to seeing them. Thank you for all of your wonderful ideas and inspiration! ❤
Hi Natasa…again. I watched this tutorial when it first came out, put my current project on hold and have made 10 of these lovelies! Today is embellishment day. They are turning out so good…thank you so much. They will bring joy to many. I think I’m going to send one from me to me!!!
Wow. Tailored, fine-tuned colors and patterns, elegant with a touch of whimsy. Just beautiful, as always. Again, wow. Thank you! P.S. The stitching adds to the whimsy w/the decorations.
LOVE the idea of a series like this!!! I'm still not good at decorating journal covers. This would be so helpful. And, as you say, they can be used in other journal pieces, too.
That is such a great cover design! I love that it can easily be customized by just changing the cutout shape. You could also use two plastic sheets and put confetti or glitter between them. As always, thank you for the inspiration!
Thankyou Natasha. I just finished my first altered book of pockets and used this design for the cover! I’m so excited for my daughter in law to open it up at Christmas
I finally finished one of these, Natasa! It's quick and easy-so long as one doesn't spend 400 years deciding on and choosing the perfect sentiment and embellishments! Hahahahah!
