Thank You for this video! I have shown this to my husband and as soon as he started the massage - I felt relief (!). I was miserable for 4 months until now. For a few days I am finally pain free first thing in the morning and when I get up after prolonged sitting (at the computer, couch or at the table...). My husband does 2 massages for me - 1 in the morning before I am off to work and another one in the evening. In-between - I roll a plastic bottle with frozen water under my foot for about 15 minutes 3-4 times a day (even at work under my desk). These two therapies combined have been a true lifesavers! Let's hope that I can heal my Plantar Fasciitis completely:). I am wearing orthotics all the time and just have to live with the fact that dress shoes are not for me anymore... I LOVE the fact, how it is explained during the massage what it does. It DOES help with bearing the pain during the massage so much better!

Love your work! You inspired me throughout my exams and continue to do so. I love that you share your talent/ideas/techniques. Funny thing, it was your name: Rebel, that first drew me to your tutorials. You are a rebel in the sense that you are blazing your own trail and not following the path that everyone else seems to be on. Thank you again.

Chances are if you’re going to a “massage parlor”, you’re not going to get the level of skill and expertise that the licensed massage therapist and instructor in this video has. Go to a licensed massage establishment or a solo practitioner who has certification in myofascial release or myoskeletal alignment. You might not be aware, but massage parlors tend to be sexually oriented businesses that employ unlicensed workers who may well be victims of sex trafficking.

This has been the most satisfying video to watch on Plantar Factitious to actually see you massage the foot properly is great I wish you could do it for me. But I’m in Ireland I was referred to PT and all he did was made me take off my shoes looked at them and told me to buy an arch thing for my shoe. I was so annoyed and disappointed. I had to wait until it got worse and eventually after a few years it went away but I feel it’s starting again. Thanks for uploading this

My husband has plantar fasciitis. Sucks i miss going on walks and hikes but cant with him, he can go to work and rush come to sit.
I have been trying to massage him like this and tape his feet with ktape. Remind him to stretch his foot before he touches the ground to prevent microtears.
Im going back to giving him bone broth, the first time it really helped and since I stopped his pain came back.
I hate plantar fasciitis. Sucks to have constant foot pain and barely do much cuz its painful.

Hi Rebel, I'm wondering if you could comment on how you establish strong boundaries between yourself and your clients. I think that many MT's and body workers have had experiences with clients pushing (or even all together) disregarding our boundaries on the table. We work with people and their bodies intimately and I believe that it's important for all therapists to discuss these kinds of issues w/ one another, not only to become better informed, but to bring a level public awareness to the topic.

There are a few suggestions to try
Test out a natural remedies for plantar foot. Something as simple as ginger root, which can be found at your local grocery shop, is a good anti-inflammatory. Ginger root is in a group of plants known as Cox inhibitors. This means they help inflammation naturally.
Another good remedy for pain is Bromelain. Bromelain is an enzyme found in pineapples. If you drink the raw juice or eat raw pineapple, you can gt advantage from the natural pain relief of Bromelain. Enzymes are one of the best remedies for pain because they are all natural and are what your body uses to cure inflammation
