Well done! Thanks for share your building of this kit. I really appreciated it. I am still on the dry fit stage on mine. I want to make the engine cover a separated part from the cockpit one, because I want to show the engine details. I still need to come up with a solution for that. Thanks again for your videos. Kindly regards and stay safe here.
Nice build and rather than the standard RUclips replies I want to ask some questions. So once you put the intake on, can you remove the bodywork? I myself have built several of the BT49's and the decals application did not stand the test of time. What are your thoughts on these decals? No doubt a pain to apply and plenty of solution was needed. Here it is Jan. of 2022 and there are several of these kits on eBay out of Japan for North of 100 bucks. I am wondering if I were better off knowing only of the MFH variant which is out of my price range and talent! Great build and that looks like a difficult kit from the decal application. If the bodywork is fixed than all the detail work to the chassis/cockpit is in vain.
You're right, I didn't glue the intake because of that problem; just applied some white glue to the pins so it's stays in place when the bodywork is in place; if I want to remove the bodywork, then I just detach the intake. Decals are pretty good tbh, and so far don't see any problems with aging because I always clear coat the whole body after applying the decals to seal them
@@TMModelkits Thanks, it's off my wish list! Plenty of others out there yet to build. I am an open wheel builder and Ebbro seems to be getting my cash of late. Not crazy about their new Type 33 either as it looks "off" IMO. Like a type 25 with different wheels.
Another great build, your paint and finish are so meticulous. I have a question if I may, what happened to the Becker truck build, did you finish it and if not is it still on the backburner. Best wishes Vic.
Thank you Vic. It was halted due to lack of supplies (mostly paints) and they were all out of stock until recently; I'm planning on restarting it in a few days time
Beautiful work sir! Fabulous. 👍🏻

Thank you Guilherme,
Careful with the PE.... some parts feel like they don't belong in the kit
