My son and I built a plane model the other day in 2 hours, lost all the propellers and was painted all blue; still the best time ever. Wouldn't have done it without your inspiration. Thanks!
Keep your son on that path and he'll grow up to be a awesome inventor and artist
@@thatmaverickguy859 I agree. I used to build models as a child and enjoyed the detailed hand work. I eventually become a gunsmith. Retired now but I always looked forward to going to work and loved my job. My brothers used to say they hated their jobs so I felt very fortunate.
I am glad that you try models and had a good time. ❤
I remember getting into modeling when I was a kid, with my Dad. I still have the first model we made...a waterline Kriegsmarine Graf Spee. It's in terrible shape but a lovely memory.
Great stuff 👍. 💯 your son will hold that memory for ever!
For a military vehicles builder, you're certainly very talented with car models. A lot of armor/plane guys will build the entire model and spend hours painting parts in place instead of seperately as intended. Two totally different styles and you've nailed them both.
David spoke the magic words again "some minor modifications"...so we know, he create a masterpiece...again.
I always have a good chuckle when he says that!
Yes, I love his gift for understatement
Honestly I feel like this one was relatively minor compared to his other models
Oh man, those brake discs...genius.....once again you knock the ball clear out of the park. A stunning piece......
I’ve been watching your content for like 5 years and it made we want to get into models and painting you genuinely made my childhood
Another superb build. Imaginative presentation. Gets better each time. Very well done, David.
Hi David, your channel is the first one which trully inspired me to follow and do this hobby. 1 year later I've built my 5th scale model, and even started making RUclips videos out of it, and realised is a hobby for life. Keep up the good work and keep inspiring people!
David, you are the Man when it comes to modeling. Keep these great videos coming and I'll keep watching.
Building the model is the easy part, but I have to say. A model isn't a model unless you can paint and understand how to use paints properly. Your models are extraordinary sir. Thank you.
Já jako papírový modelář moc nerozumím plastikovým modelům ale tohle vypadá neskutečně. Super práce 👍🏻
You elevate my work every time you post, Thank You!
You sir are a master model builder. Well done.
It's very interesting to see people get into model building from these videos, not the other way around
Looks beyond amazing!
Man, detailing the engine like that would drive me nuts. Very well done!
Amazing build
You have inspired my builds in so many ways, Thanks
You have done a fantastic job. The video is very well produced and your explanations very helpful. Thank you very much and make more videos like this one! Best regards to you.
Awesome work as always! I love watching your works. Very nicely done.
Very amazing plastic model kit
Stunning model of a classic, unforgettable F1 car
Absolutely awesome built!!! Hat off! Greetings from Ostrava!
Great video and build you should make a wrecked train!
Absolutely beautiful! That engine could not be better. And the best of the model is the beautiful black colour, that’s absolutely awesome!
In real life the Goodyear tire logos were all quickly sprayed on with heavy card stencils - not done by hand for each tire as it would take forever doing hundreds of sets per race solely for advertising so to have it look realistic using the templates held right against the tire and hitting it with a loaded white in airbrush is the way to go. All my cars have been done this way and look great. Decals will crack over time on the rubber base.
What a wonderful Saturday. Cherry on top is a new vid.
Dream model
finally a non military model! I knew you could return from the dark side of modelling!
This guy would have made for a kickass surgeon.
Found this kit recently at my near hobby store. After seeing this build, I give up. Look like it need many work to build it. I will stick to gunpla for this moment. Haha
I'm an F1 fan, especially vintage F1 so seeing you make this is just great
BEAUTIFUL WORK!
Fantastic as always
Plamo, thank you, for this,, it's Beautyful!
Beautiful work on my favorite F1 car of all time! I saw it race at Long Beach many years ago!
It is very impressively! You are the best!
You are so talented dude !! Bravo !
С бодуна, у меня так же руки трясутся))
The technique of using thin glue to dissolve the decals on the tyres also works for removing silvering on decals, even if you've already applied clearcoat over them. Of course new clear coat is needed afterwards, but it can still save an otherwise ruined model!
Good year 👍🏼🤠
Trop beau 🤩 !
Cosworth was so worried about their engine designs leaking to other engineers that you couldn't buy some of their V8s, you could only lease them for a season before renewing the lease or returning them to Cosworth.
Howard Hughes inherited patents for oil well drill bits. Never sold them -- always leased them.
U are awesome!
Well done
I would highly recommend you to build a German A7V heavy tank because that is one of my second favorite tank of the First World War.
What a beast.
Amazing!
Like your work,,,,
Great. I personally prefer civilian/racing cars to planes or combat vehicles
dang, howd you make realistic engine sounds too? mind blown
Very, very nice!
That is lovely
Hi Plasmo I’ve been a fan for a long time and enjoy your content and will continue to and a have a video idea and would love if you would build a Stuka b1 I don’t know if you have built it yet but would love to see that in a video thank you a have a good day
Super
Please next Stalker or Metro diorama
Would your hole punch not work for the reflective mirrors rather than cutting them out? Great modelling, as always!
I wanted to make it, but the diameter was larger than my puncher 🤣
How did you make the metal mesh on top of the engine. Mind blowing stuff..
Братуха, что ж так трясутся пальцы?( В любом случае Мастер! Береги себя)
Wow
👍🏻
🤩🤩😍😍👏👏💪💪👌👌👍👍✌✌
G1 Mirage
What an awesome work! Have you seen de A4 garaje work ? Please visit that channel
Are you okay Plasmo?
👍👋🇲🇽
My father took me to Brands Hatch that year, I remember this car so clearly, it was my second favourite after the Surtees Ford driven by Vittorio Brambilla who was my father's favourite driver, and who I am named after. F1 racing then was so much more exciting, and the noise was incredible.
the cars from this era are just beautiful. this and the john player special design are just great
@@breakshot7451 oh yes and who can forget the Tyrrell P34, I never saw it race in person, but saw it on display, in the 80s, such a cool car
Amazing!
FIY the wires used for WIFI transmission from the antennas to the WIFI module inside laptops have that braided texture. Excellent for making small details.
Good tip!
Thanks for the tip, I have a dead laptop I can raid for part!
The JPS logo's are missing, is this on purpose, or is the kit missing them for legal reasons?
There are not included in the kit. But primarily my mistake that I did not ordered new extra decals. Correction 1 : the version is from 1978 german GP and the JPS logo was not include on formula one surface. I watched the video from race. So I think it is correct.
@@daviddamek4478 Awesome thanks David, an outstanding model!!!
Absolutely incredible work, as always! I love the braided hoses and anodized connectors.
This level of weathering is insuficient for eastern front in winter 44, also there should be more dirt around gunports ;)
Absolutely stunning work as ever Plasmo, thank you.
I don't care about the genre of models you build. I always get excited when you post a video. Thank you
The foil over the X-Acto trick. Priceless. Always pick up a tidbit here and there from you. Thanks for sharing your work with us again. Fine specimen.
This is such a beautiful model. I hope to see more F1 models in the future!
I love that you left the body pieces removable. It’s great to see the sleek, glossy complete car as well as the super-detailed lower layers!
Beautiful work as always David, I wonder if other modellers think it is a shame the John Player logos are even more controversial than Swastikas these days?
I was just wondering the same, I remember having a model of the JPS car, this model reminded me of it.
The JP logo was not included during the 1978 german GP. But you are true. 🤔
I don't know the story behind the controversy, what happened?
@@ClonesDream John Player Specials were cigarette manufacturers.
@@davidpowell6098 Ah right gotcha
What memories! Mario Andretti's car, that car was the forerunner of ground effect, I still remember it on the tracks, when Formula 1 was a real competition and not the dirty monetary circus that it has become now, a shame ..., excellent model and construction work as always, greetings from southern Argentina.
Simply beautifully presented. A true master craftsmen. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
Absolutely a awsome build. Great work Plasmo. 👏
I don’t know how you keep out-doing yourself! Another great looking model
In this video, I make tiny internal combustion engine......
My suggestion for future: Truck. Maybe boring theme, but i believe you could make it awesome with these details
YES! A SCANIA. They are a sexy Truck & the engine details are reasonable.
Trucks are not boring at all. In fact, you can go wild with weathering or just not at all. Rally cars are also a great suggestion for PLASMO.
"Minor" improvements....
It's always amazing to see you at work, David.
Parabéns 👏 Brazil my friend.... DF/RJ.... parabéns pelo seu trabalho....
as an auto modeler primarily I’m glad to see you do another car, especially a beautiful formula one kit! always a pleasure to see you elevating these classic kits 👏👏👏 well done

"after some MINOR improvements"
Ha, ha. Good one. We know our David and what he thinks about MINOR improvements.
Ok, now on with the video.
Once again , David provided some minor modifications.......amazing job! And we could clearly see there is no safety for the driver
We do enjoy the "tongue in cheek" comedy in the intro don't we..
Thanks for sharing another kit build. Those braided wire tubes are always out of stock. Super great detail pieces.
Showed up early! This is gonna be a great one, I can tell. Thanks for the upload!
I wouldn't be one bit surprised if that actually started up and drove away.....
Excellent work!!
Hey plasmo! I really love your car videos. hoping you build some more in the future. if you are okay with it of course.
Hope this doesn't come off as u usually critical but given your attention to details, maybe this comment is a next time. As a car guy, those brake rotors are way to thick.
Are these models for hire, ebay maybe or do you have a room filled with these things.
new sub here,.
I have no idea what algo sent me here, but I'm glad it happened,.
nice work, its all in the details.
I have a few rare kits,that I wouldn't give up,except to you.
Ah yes, the JPS liveried Lotus cars were some of the most iconic F1 racers even if not the best scoring Po
Beautiful work David! Thank you for the inspiration!...
David this is surely as beautiful as the real car. Bravo!
thx for sharing F1 trailer.
i haven't assemble any aftr tamiya's redbull rb-6.
Ooooohhh Awesome!!
