Another interesting video, thank you, Sir! I do have a few questions. Are the holds cleaned with any kind of soap or neutralizer prior to being washed down? Is the washdown water sea water, or does it need to be desalinated prior to being used as a rinse of the holds? I understand the reason for a clean hold prior to landing for a new load, however depending upon the previous load carried, is the wash/rinse water filtered, allowed to settle to remove particulate or is it just pumped overboard? Thanks for doing such a professional job with your recordings!
Chief, when a vessel sails in a very low visibility condition such as this, I guess you have to sail using radar as the guide but how slow do you have to reduce the speed to? Or this is depending on situation and traffic in the vicinity of your ship?
