Refreshing and interesting without all the histrionics

Not too bad. I enjoyed that you took the time to recreate the Ghost Hunters thermal footage (I agree with your conclusion), and acknowledged other animals not only in the area, but inside Fort areas where people claim to have seen "ghost animals".
Some criticisms - solid base readings are not going to be achieved in an hour or so. Temperature fluctuations, for example, are going to be commonplace being on the river, and dependent on air flow (and other factors). You would also need at least a sampling rate of once per second over the course of several weeks just to begin getting an accurate idea of what normal levels might be.
One thing with the blacksmith's door that I didn't see addressed was the pins for the hinges. The weight of the door, if it had become unlatched during a windy/stormy night (and being right on the river) could exert enough force to snap the pins. Not sure if this is the case, but it's something to think about.
All in all, I enjoyed this better than any of the network ghost hunting shows. If you get back to the Fort and would like a skeptical opinion, let me know. Greg has my number. Have a good day.

You raise some good points. In regards to the blacksmith's shop door, we are still on the fence ourselves, too many variables but we have some new experiments we want to implement on round 2! Baselines are tricky, your right there are numerous factors and conditions to account for, what you see on the show is a condensed rendering of our procedure but your right, one night will only get you so far data wise. We love the feedback, thanks for watching!

I investigated this with the folks from taps back in the day. Was a cool place except for the damn bugs (due to the nearby marshes) and Philly airport. every ten minutes the roar of a plane arriving or departing. lol

Fort Mifflin is an amazing location, can’t wait until we can get back there. We are fans of the creepy crawlers so the bugs didn’t both us too much but you are right about the airport… what a ruckus! It does quiet down a bit around 12:30am, less flights, they never really show how much air traffic there is on the TV shows, made filming this episode quite the challenge.
