This genre of light hearted good natured bike roasting is surprisingly entertaining; "Explaining to his kids that he is taking a picture of his bike to send to some guy on the internet must be embarrassing" is cracking me up good job Gary!
Owen here… thanks for taking the time to review/ roast my bike!! The bars are now taped 🎉 and I admit I need to make some reach adjustments.. shorter stem? 😆
I appreciate all these bikes. It takes a lot for someone to build a bike and show it off to other people. I'm dragging my feet on my own build. I'm no bicycle mechanic. I stick to motorcycles and cars. Bikes are hard. haha
@@garysprojects lol they made good bikes up until the 80s, things went downhill after that. This one was actually used for lake jumping and was still full of water when I took it apart. The decals come from Will Farrell's character in the movie Blades of Glory, Chaz Michael Michaels, which was a nick name given to me. The headtube badge is actually a Marin patch that I glued on. I work at a small shop and Marin is our main brand so I had some kicking around.
0:30 how many shots 🍻 I'm watching with my Girl and drinking pilsner but I got a habit 8:40 my schwalbe smart sam lost the graphics in the wash with comet and a scrub the Rapid Rob stayed.
First!!!!!!!!!! Love ya work gaz

I think the second to the last one was the best looking, but the Look bike at 2:59 is the one I'd rather own out of all of them.

Isaac's Kuwahara cruiser for sure. It's not 80's (at least I think, based on the V brake posts) but still way cool.
@@UnhingedHarry ya veryy cool, old school bmx frames have sky rocketed
