      What sort of range do you get out of the battery? How's the torque sensing feel?

    • @hakannedjat
      @hakannedjat Месяц назад +2

      @smultron3030 around 60-100km depending on the level of assist. There's no proper torque sensing, but there is a mode that feels like there is, but the motor just tries to match your speed.

    So many drinks on my Indie 3.
    Those bars were rotated pretty far forward and 5 degree back sweep only. Took over a month to get the back wheel spaced and stable so the thing wouldn't rub. DT spokes cut 24 in total.
    I actually tried a suntour suspension fork and as well the Surly fork..

    Cold blooded Gary. But fair. That S-Works is a bit of a wreck when you get close up enough. And I'd completely failed to notice that M910 rear mech! They were cosmetically very similar but mechanically very different, but how did I not pay attention to that phat parallelogram spring?

    I got the exact same specialized sworks 94' frame, in that same color, same saddle post, same Ti stem, but with nice 1.5 ritchey slick road tires. Under 10kg.
    Got it on an awesome deal.
    Just needed rear deraileur hanger and deraileur (bought the exact same old one from factory), swapped front forks for a rigid one and a decent saddle.
    Very stupidely, i modded the stock front canti brake hanger, when it still had the weirdo suspension shock (canti did not work as it was incorrectly mounted). Now has a tilng TEKTRO?/NOS? cantilever brake hanger that works on the lower fork mount.
    Got to solve a loose lower head set bearing race (the one from the fork), don't know why it was ok on the idiot shock but loose on the rigid fork.

    29:10 Is it really useful to convert MTB (I guess) into single speed with these semi-vertical dropouts? I mean it’s not a fixed gear and chain tension is not relevant and I think clearance is ok, but anyway (sorry, I am new here)
    Also thank you for your content, it’s actually very useful

    • @garysprojects
      @garysprojects  Месяц назад

      @@Nkellllll1 you can run a chain tensioner to help tension the chain, some ppl like to convert to single speed for simplicity , but yeah up to the rider. Cheers mate !
