Nik here with the Hurricane. 27:47 the black tube thing is just a cheap carbon tube and bracket combo i use to hold my phone with for google maps etc. Not the prettiest, but works
27:07 the crazy controls there were a result of me wanting to try out the drop bars for minimal outlay of cost. So I ended up using a mix of my original brake levers, and had to use a weird extender thing to attach the thumb shifters since they wouldn't fit the drop bars. Ugly for sure, but i meant i could try drops without needing to buy another set of shifters and brake levers.

I save bike pictures to a folder for a rotating background/screensaver program. I'd save a ton of these. I say it in every video, but I can't wait to get mine going. Just waiting on parts and tools, story of my life. I don't know anyone personally who tinkers with bikes, so I struggle to find parts. At the moment, I don't know whether I should rebuild the headset I have, and just get new bearings; or if I should replace them completely. I don't know enough about it.

awesome! no sweat thats the part of rebuilding bikes, sometimes can take a while - def feels good when its all done though!
