Late to the party, but we picked up the Maxx & had an absolute blast with it on the soccer turf last night. Sliding it around the turf was so much fun. We had it going up against the Hoss and the kiddos loved it. Thanks A Subscriber
Suspension is of good quality and strong for a 1/10th scale truck, but it is WAY under damped and over sprung (especially the back). 30wt shock oil is far too light for a truck of this weight. 70wt is a MUCH better match. FAR less bottoming and a much more stable ride.
I have a brushless Emaxx and have the metal axials replaces the chassis and front end a few times on 4s and 6s. Smoked my motor and I’m trying to decide if I want a new motor for the Emaxx or a new truck for twice the price and then some.

This is a bad azz little truck! Built to take a beating!
Was checking it out at my RC shop. Looks cool and looks like it runs nice but price should be like 100 less or even 150
That lil thing is quick. I see Traxxas has been working on their suspensions too. That thing was handling the bumps quite well.

Nice little park to run your r/c cars on.
Looking fast!!! Must be the driver😁 cool gotta look into the specs now. Cya Jay.
great run and video
Bro started recording and 30 murders 2 stabbings a robbery and an alien invasion happend at the same time
I gotta admit its speed is very impressive for 3s. 4s should be awesome
U wanna see a 4s Run 2nite?
@@JayTeeRC yea please and thank you.
@@JayTeeRC yessir
Whoever is comparing this to a 6s Outcast obviously never driven either of them.
Ikr
It handles well on 3s.
Runs nice on 3s, if it was a real bashing site with hills and ruts, it would be great just on 3s on a construction site.
I also think 3s suits it just fine.
Love sirens

🤣🤣 I know exactly who you are talking about! Same dude on every Maxx video saying it's the size of a 6s outcast 😂 Bet he won't say anything now, lol
Looking good
Very nice
Hey do you ever jump those hills beside the stairs there?
Can you compare a LCG Slash VXL with PL 2.8 trenchers , my 19' silverado trail boss was just as big as that thing when I went to the hobby shop
Fun!
Is this one yours or did you borrow this one? Don't recall seeing a unboxing or 1st look video of this.
why they made the lipo tray so limiting I can only guess.
Ikr😞
@@JayTeeRC Least 45mm is kind of a standard width, and I'm sure either they, or another firm will bring out one in which you can use taller Lipo's.
@@FullOnRC the height is what kills it...not so much width. Stay tune to some important info
Take out battery tray put in straps
Please compare with 4s Outcast! and which drives better?
Smithesh N the Kraton 4S is more similar size
I second this. I have a 4s outcast
@@jasondearden1394 4s lineup are all similar in size
JT - Do you use Traxxas Link? You can get speed reads using it.
Its fast for certain
How does it compare to a granite 4x4 blx? Granite is half the price paid $249
I would get the granite lol
@@ridazach53 I did I really enjoy the granite 4x4 blx. Its tough and fast.
It was $250 about a year ago?! Holy sh** it’s September 2021 and it’s $370 now
How's it compare to the 6s emaxx?
Will the db backflips 4s tires fit this?
Could you run it on a 2s to make it more kid/novice friendly?
yes.
Can someone help me? I'm getting back into the hobby ,but however had Nittro Trucks in the past. So what's does 8s, 3s, mean?

It's the power of the battery. 2S lower vs., 8S Higher. More "juice" = more speed.
What is the cost in us im curious is 700 cdn in Canada
$529
Remove the top battery Tray
