    Hi Vanessa! I have watched a number of your RUclips tutorials, and they are great!! I usually just make quilts, but I am interested in getting the patterns to 7 different bags. I am in South Australia, can you please let me know when the Bag of the Month started, as I note that a lot of replies are from 3 years ago, and how much it would be for me to get the pdf's and see the tutorials for all of the bags. Thanks from Sue in South Australia! :)

    Thanks Vanessa, this was extremely useful! I mentioned this problem in my bag making, especially in the smaller projects (meaning: the smaller the bag, the worse the same seam allowance adds up to wrinkles on the inside).
    I‘m looking forward to your new BOTM Club. Unfortunately, I missed your survey, otherwise I‘d have reported my main issue to you, which is matching up all those layers perfectly towards the finishing of the bag, and worst of all: The final top stitch seam around the opening edge, when it comes to getting it done.

    I do this but never sure when I go to box the bags as I prefer the cut out square method to the other, as it's great for small bags and also easier to match seams, Do you add to the box size by 1/4 inch too to allow for the bigger seam allowance? I don't like the baggy innards either😕. I still make the improv tote!!! And you taught me how to put an insetpanel in ed a zippered bag and a host of other things. Thanks Vanessa.

    • @TheCraftyGemini
      @TheCraftyGemini  4 года назад +2

      Depends on the size of the bag-- the bigger the bag the more you need to take in on the seam allowances. On this small sample 1/4" was enough.
