I purchased two of the @thecraftygenimi bag club memberships back in 2014 and 2016 (I think). I purchased them because of the promise that they would be available for me to watch and use after I retire. Well, I just retired in February, and am having so much fun going back to sew some of the bags that I’ve been holding. If you have never followed Vanessa’s teaching style, you are in for a real treat. She is amazing. I can’t wait for this new club.
Her teaching style is terrific; she reiterates the instructions so that even when you are finished you hear them in your head! I recently made her One Hour Tote for a friend for her birthday and stuffed it with four of her Fabric Bowls; one Triangle Zipper Bag; one Rectangle Zipper Bag and one Double Zipper Pocket Bag! They were all in coordinating fabrics! My friend was thrilled and packed every bag for her two week vacation! Glad I made a second set for myself!! Totally worth it!!! Even if you see 1 or 2 bags that you think you might make, get it! The videos are amazing, very detailed and get you motivated to sew more. I got the bag club last year and no regrets.
You can get a small strap with hardware at the dollar tree or dollar general. The have nylon dog leashes in many colors. I have used these on small crossbody bags. Look cute and are strong.

All the bags are great but I really like the clear and the wash me and wear me bags. They definitely make great gifts for all occasions. Can't wait to start making them. 🤗🤗🤗
The Wash Me Wear Me bag will be great for gifts especially with Christmas around the corner and so practical. No more carrying an ugly plastic bag for used lingerie. Also the projects bag will be great for on the go, and the small square bag with interchangeable straps for craft show trips or any shopping trips where you only need the essentials in your purse for buying. I cannot wait for your Bag Club, and its a plus that is not yearly membership. I love your projects and how you teach and the tips you give for substitutions to make the bags more affordable.
I like the stroll crossbody bag as I like to keep my hands free and the wash me, wear me bag would be a great addition to my travel bags. Can't wait to join another great bag club and start using up some stash fabric and notions that I have left over from over bag/organizer clubs.
So sad the club is closed. I love your work and I think that if you have not thought about it, maybe write some books ( step by step procedures) in addition to your clubs.

Hi Vanessa. Thank you for the classes on the new bags! I'd have to say I really like the game day bags that are see-through. I don't go to those functions but I think for those that do and they check the peoples bags that carry things in like wallets, keys and such, it will be a great one for all genders to take notice of and purchase for themselves. I'm also interested in the wax fabric??? First I've heard of it here. Thanks again and have a great day!!!

Vanessa, fabulous selection of bags! My favorite I cannot wait to make us the fanny pack! Love the Tote and your daily bag. They are all super cute. Probably won't do the hip pack, but love the pack that you can carry on your back. Can pockets be put in the handbag? I don't like things falling all over in by purse.

I love the transparent bags. For me, whatever kind of bag I use, even with organiser pockets, I can never find things in them; the cell phone isn’t where it’s supposed to be, my wallet is wrapped up in paper tissues and invisible, and everything is hidden by the receipts I should have thrown out 12 months back. I never thought of a transparent bag! ❤️❤️❤️ it! Thank you.
