Hi Tessa, love watching your videos, always an inspiration for me. Have you tried Sashiko ? Is a form of Japanese embroidery which I find it to be very meditative.
Hi ! Your vlogs are so relaxing :) thanks for sharing your cool and kind vibes. Wasn't expecting the punk inspiration, which is great ! I can relate :) Love your work, you're one of my favorite artists.
Hi Tessa, I'm so happy you are back! Thanks for sharing the things that are inspiring you. Sometimes I feel inspired by what is around me or themes that are interesting to me but I don't really know what to do with them. If I am learning embroidery and I am loving hiking to waterfalls, for example, it doesn't mean I will be able to stich a waterfall because my skills don't really match this motif. Do you have any tips about this? About how to incorporate what is inspiring you to your work in a way that makes sense, I think. Thanks ❤
Very inspiring and well presented. Seems like you’re getting more comfortable in front of the camera. I love that for you. I would love it if you had the group creative time online. At The beginning of the pandemic there was another sewist that had a group that we could subscribe to and we would meet once a week and I absolutely loved it. I can’t remember what it cost a session. It was maybe five dollars or $10 but she had people subscribe for three months at a time. I would participate if you were thinking about doing something like that.
Colette Wolff's book is great, I've had it years and find it easy to follow. I also love what Kate @visiblemend did "smocking" her shirt. I am new to embroidery but I am always wanting things I make to be used so I want to embroider/ embellish clothes or items for the home or for everyday use. Looking forward to seeing what you make
