I have loved Barbra for 50 years! And had the great privilege of seeing her sing at Sun Devil Stadium after filming when she suddenly, impromptu, started singing with the band and just a small gathering of people around - maybe 25 at Sun Devil stadium in 1975. I was with my boyfriend when Barbra sang - among other songs - The Way We Were. The sun was just setting in the ‘golden hour’ - it was pure magic.
I just finished her book, and being over 900 pages - it was a bit daunting, until I began reading. I could not put it down and could've read another thousand pages. This woman is a treasure. I find her beautiful in every way.

her book, a ridiculously huge mega-novel, was almost impossible to read. when I read that she dictated the book to a writer, that's when I realized all I was reading was Barbra going on and on into a digital recorder. i put the book down. That's EXACTLY how the book read and it was not good. Barbra, when you actually "write" a book, i'll buy it.
That first come on line, of Brando’s, was a vulgar to Barbara. She didn’t come up with that word, impromptu, but I think it is the perfect word choice based on how she described she felt about that word.
This is no compliment to her. Marlon Brando was extremely promiscuous, he would've slept with just about anyone, but the way she tells the story I'm thinking he was just kidding around and actually friend zoned her. She's romantizing the past. There's No doubt Marlon found a willing partner less than five minutes after any rejection. He was the most famous actor of the time period.
I swear I remember coming across something where he had said something negative about her but now I don’t remember where I heard it so I can’t find it.

Barbra is a class act. I've always loved her acting and voice tremendously. She's a legend.... ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Captain Obvious

One of Howard Sterns best interview ever

900 pages? This will take some planning lol
I'm not surprised leading men fell in love with her. She was uniquely gorgeous ❤

Not a big Stern fan but I've become a massive Stern fan. This is one of the best interviews in a very long time. Thank Howard and Barbra!
I miss the crazy Howard but as he evolved but with his interviewing skills he is one of the best.
He made an offer that she COULD refuse.
I couldn't lol
Pretty damn funny!

I loved her singing all my life but here where she is so real I love her more❤
This duo is terrific 4 an interview!

Love you Barbra!
It's good. I saw it last night. A lot of truth in it. It's very relatable.
Read her book it's a good book. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
An international treasure and a complete badass of an artist. Plus, she's GORGEOUS and bright. Lucky Brolin.
She was hilarious in "What's Up Doc".
One of my favorite movies!
The BEST!
she was BEAUTIFUL there… fell in love with her
I Agree !!!!!
Correction: Barbra was engaging, funny, and cute ... Madeline Kahn was "hilarious"

Well, she is out there promoting her book ….

Barbra has led an interesting life. Looking forward to reading the book.
Learning how much Marlon and Barbra had in common and how they cared for each other was an incredible discovery in the book!
“You say ‘luncheonette’ and I say ‘diner’” 🎶 🎵
I think she's likely referring to a burger stand, which is not a full diner. It's just a small kitchen with some outside seating.
The fact that he interviewed Streisand proves that he’s not the Howard Stern most of us grew up with.
What a story Barbra told about Marlon Brando "coming on" to her! Good for you Barbra for saying NO!
Barbra is so famous. Only celebrity memoir I really gave an interest in reading. Can't wait to dig in.
Barbra Streisand cared for Marlon and they were good friends. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
She is great actress singer absolute legend and those eyes😍
LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT...LoverBoy
excellent interview
There's a person named Eunice? Lol. She's not only a great singer but a great comedian too.

I would have turned him down too.
NOBODY IS WORRIED OR SCARED TO GO ON STERN BECAUSE HE IS BASICALLY ENTERTAINTMENT TONIGHT
Maybe u should only watch the greg gutless show,
Sometimes some dreams come true 💫💫💫
I remember when Howard used to say that Barbra Streisand loved herself so much that she would "cellophane her own bowel movements".
I really wonder if she is even aware
It’s still so strange to me that he’s nice now.
@@lucyfoster4082I don’t listen to him as much I think he’s just older and mellowed out but I personally think he’s just the same

Marlon made moves on anything that moved. Male and female. So don't be flattered Barb.
Richard Pryor????

Interesting.
Barbra Streisand looks great. Period.
Why is Howard Stern so obsessed with sex?🤔
It's just a part of a 2.5 hour long interview... Anyway - sex is a big part of most people's lives.
Because it’s how we got here
Barb Barb Booey.
Howard is funny, it's dangerous to be on a set with Barbara Striesand 😅
Does Barbara not leave La?
Good actors don't need to fall in love with their co-stars to any degree if they know how to act.
Are you an actress? She is an actress. An Oscar winner. That's her opinion.
You wish, Barbara. Marlon Brando!? 😊😊😊
It's not hard to believe, @TaniK44 , I mean he f_#@ked Richard Pryor. 😅

hanging out in the desert? Marlon had no game
Interesting 🧐
Think she has the Streisand effect. I could believe the 90s Brando hit on the 90s Streisand.
It was in the 70s
She didn't want to taste Wally Cox...
She has beautiful hands.
This makes it official. The Classic Stern is dead, he's gone full Yenta at this point.

He was sexy and vulnerable, but she knew he was a player.
Nice lady but not for me. Brando was a horn dog.

Howard Stern is so disrespectful. He needs to try harder.
Ralph Fiennes was married when she invited him back to her house.

I get the feeling no studio would let her direct cause she’s prob not at all efficient, too obsessive and fixating on every detail.
She has managed to make a few films. She was efficient and as obsessive on every detail as any other director.
