What a FANTASTIC interview. Queen Barbra has had to have done hundreds of interviews in the last few months promoting her incredible autobiography and I have probably seen them all, and this is the best exchange by far. It is just so next level. President Fran Drescher is magnificent. She is one of Barbra's most famous super fans so I suspect this was beyond intimidating for her but you would never know. Her genuine love for her favorite artist is felt by La Streisand. She made Barbra feel so comfortable. How marvelous this was to watch. It's like getting a very expensive "Masterclass" of deep wisdom from one of the greatest talents of all time for free.

As a child, young teenager, grow up, my dream was to go to a Barbra Streisand concert.
Only problem was, I lived in The Netherlands and going to the USA was something we could not afford.
Then for my 40 birthday (this was 17 years ago!)
My husband surprised me with tickets to a Barbra Streisand concert in England.
When we got there, we where up dated and we sat 6 rows away from Barbra…………… Well let me tell you…….I could die💜💜💜
    It was amazing!!!!
I just sat there in tears al night.
To me, it was (outside of our 3 kids) the best experience in my life.
    After the concert I told my husband;
“I can die in peace now, my biggest wish has come true💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I truly feel blessed that I got to see her life🥰🥰🥰

What stands out the most every time I hear Barbra speak is, that her voice hasn't aged, not one bit. It sounds exactly the same as when she was in her '30's. That is remarkable. She has the most comforting cadences in her manner of speaking. Congratulation to an amazing Woman!

So glad to see Barbra in a new interview. She had said that after her memoir/autobiograghy was released, she wouldn't have to do another interview. Also great to hear her speaking voice so clear both at the SAG's and in this interview. Looking forward to her new recording album. May she always be in great voice!

I was 100% glued to this wonderful interview. I’m so happy Fran got to meet and interview this wonderful beautiful talented woman. Fran did an awesome job!
I watch the Nanny every week night on Cozy tv and I love the episode when she’s pregnant and in the hospital as Barbra was at her house and she leaves the hospital to go home to meet Barbra and Max calls her and she hears Barbra singing. Even though Barbra wasn’t there in real life cuz of her very busy schedule I still felt so bad for Fran lol and the final episode they played The way we were as Fran thinks about her past and how she got where she was and had her pink cosmetology case.
Love this interview and both of these amazing intelligent talented women! ❤️❤️

Fantastic interview. Fran had a wonderful conversation with Barbra and maybe after all these years of Fran idolizing her, for lack of a better word, they will be friends. I loved when Barbra closed the interview telling Fran that there is a lot behind Fran’s laugh and she is sure they will meet again. I sure would like to think so. One more thing, as Fran said, Barbra’s audiobook is 48 hours. I read her entire book and listened to the entire audiobook. I felt I had made a friend. I miss hearing her stories now. You would have thought 48 hours would have been enough!

Finally, an interview with some depth to it, talking about life, life's career nuances and perspective shifts that are thr differences that made (and make) a difference. I grow so tired of predictable, skimming the surface style interviews; they offer pablum instead of any resl sustenance. This interview offers real meat, potatoes, a side and dessert and tea with conversation after. Thank you, each, for being vulnerable and giving in these segments, what you did, worked and we are the benefactors.

I really enjoyed this very thoughtful conversation. To be privy to Barbra's thinking behind the scenes as both an actor and a director on those certain movies was very special. I didn't know to what extent she helped bring 1986 about in our democracy and to stop nuclear proliferation. We could use that moment once again. What she said about women getting too strong (paraphrasing) and getting punished by the move to limit women's freedoms again was insightful.
This woman lived her truth her whole life. What a gift to us who were watching and enjoying her vulnerability, talent and humor!
The interview/chat showed that Fran had clearly done her homework and her love of and admiration for Barbra and her body of work. I loved having a quick review of Barbra's entire career. I enjoyed everything she's ever done! What a body of work! ❤❤❤
