    You were the first person and the only person that I know this happened to. Hyper go MJX is a very very good model I have six of them and have no issues at all with any of them and I bash him flip them send them .So I don't know what happened. You got very unlucky there.They are faster than most 16th scales out there. Good luck in the future.😮

      www.mjxrc.net/mobile/goods/hyper-go.html
      Want to leave that link there because it's important to the conversation. In the very beginning of the video I explain the MJX I'm holding is version 1. It's also brushed. Take a look when I hold up the car and notice that the first is brushed. The second is also brushed. Although MJX offers these 2 bodies currently these cars aren't available from MJX. The lineup has gone brushless. The age of this video is actually over 1 year. I also am not sponsored by any company and purchased all three of these models. So there was no reason for me to not want them to work. Shortly after the video came out I picked up the brushless buggy, did a video on it, and although it was heavy the car did great. So if you take another look you'll see me giving a positive review because that model, also released by Jetwood and other companies later is an MJX that I had fun with. Most people who watch this video don't mention that video as if I have a vendetta against MJX. Not the case.
      Next, since this video release I have purchased every MJX product, some of which have gone to other brands like the drift truck to Hosim first released by MJX, but hasn't gotten a video yet.
      Unfortunately I will not take down the video because the company improved their models. You can't buy the first two cars anymore. Just like a car manufacturer that fixes their recalls in the same model MJX improved their cars and re-released them. Confirmation of this can be found on the MJX website but also on the FB forums and if you go to Amazon and look at the early 2022 reviews they are hit and miss. Amazon gives a link at the top to the MJX store and these two cars that I demo'd aren't available there. MJX has since changed the last letters in the cars to reflect the change and gone brushless. In my video the second car runs but only does 16mph. My observation wasn't wrong. To have GPS on a 16mph car is quite senseless. Since then they have doubled the speed of the same car by going brushless.
      The Hosim car is still kicking. As is the other MJX I reviewed. If you want to see my take on the new lineup I'm doing that video soon because MJX redeemed itself and I think the new cars are great. But I gotta call it as is at the time of unboxing. Otherwise, like a lot of youtubers, everything would be great.
      Lastly I'm a collector and love rc. I buy a lot of cars. I build and fix a lot of cars. This channel is part of my hobby and not a source of income. So it allows me to do it at my own pace and, like most rc owners, run cars when I want to and not when I have to. So you're catching an old video without a follow up every couple months because there's no benefit to me in the hobby to try to sell you on anything that didn't work for me.
      There's no malice here. Whether MJX got it worked out or not is no skin off my back. And maybe you'd be surprised to hear but after the first criticism of this video I went and started to buy the new cars to see what was going on. So I'm not surprised by your comments and appreciate them because without them I wouldn't take another look and say "Hey, did they fix those issues?" Which in MJX's case is really good for their brand that people like yourself advocate for them.
      ** Final note. I did expect that MJX would figure this out if they stayed in the surface game. My MJX drones, one of which is about over 7 years old, works great. But what's most important is that you're happy with your purchase and not bums like me and our opinions because while it's not the case on this channel there are a lot of rc reviewers peddling junk. The Red Viking will never do that.
      Thank you for your comment! Have fun out there!

      @@redvikinghobbiesvery happy to see you weren't upset too much about the not so pleasant feedback. Reading this you just got yourself a new subscriber. You seem like you're very honest at reviewing RC cars. I'm so glad that you got the brushless MJX models and got to see what I experience. Very fast very durable very fun. Again thanks for your comment and reviewing the MJX again. Like you said if you would have wiped your hands clean and not fault the brushless MJX you would never know what we were talking about. Good job reading all your comments. I'm just happy that you like the version 2 brushless MJX hyper goes. The only brushed MJX that I have is branded by RC monster. When I tested that it went 22.23 mile an hour which isn't bad considering at the time I only paid $55.99. I bought that because the only thing that's different from the version 2 brushless models is obviously the brushless motor. And then I bought it because it's very cheap now I have parts for all my version too MJX's for only $59.99. I just thought that was a really good deal You get a cheap car to bash around and then when your version twos break you got parts all day long. You'll have to take a look at the RC monster MJX it's on Amazon I think it's 59.99 now but it's still a great deal to hold for parts for your other RCs. Instead of just buying a part here and there you got a whole boatload of parts down to the wheels everything. The only thing I don't like about the RC monster it has plastic diffs. Running it around it was fine I jumped it twice and the rear diff stripped almost all of its gears because they're plastic. The version twos thank God are metal. Keep up the good reviews and I'll keep watching. God bless.😊😊😊?Just wanted to add I have the MJX hyper go 16207 It's the buggy 3S if you don't have that you'll have to get one boy oh boy you won't be disappointed. The things the beast. And the 16210s good too all with plastic chassis. I can't vouch for the metal chassis but the plastic chassis all day long. I also have the MJX hyper go the drift trucks I have the all black one It's called the Black Mamba and I have the blue and black one. Them two are also very awesome to add your collection 40 couple miles per hour very snappy durable very durable. Look into one of them you won't be disappointed either. Thanks for listening Just had to add that because my experience of them are excellent very hard to break. Drifting is a little bit different than bashing that's why I wanted to try them out and I'm so glad I did they are the 14301 or the 14302. Have a good day.?

    I bought this for my brother for Christmas which is his first real r/c car. He absolutely loves it. He had it out in a parking lot doing wheelies and doughnuts. Said it reminded him of my traxxas stampede with the son of a digger body.

    I got mine on Amazon, GPS works great, I have to hold the light button while turning it on, 3 outlets on the ESC , it’s fast, I got the bag of extra parts, I got the phone holder, that’s all I can remember that you mentioned.
    I’m happy.

    Hey folks, if you're reading this you'll see a second video that came out a month later for the MJX Hypergo Brushless without GPS.
    Since then MJX has released a new GPS model that looks like it has solid reviews. I believe it is the H16GT and looks to be a better design. But even better news is that MJX is selling their GPS seperate with a receiver! That would be terrific to put in other cars. The app was great. Subscribe if you're interested in seeing me do the newer GPS and Brushless and adding a GPS to a different brand car! Thanks for your continued support with a special thank you to our last commentor! @Benjamin Rau

    I just received my Amewi Hyper Go from Amazon and it looks like what i expected (from the MJX Hyper Go) but not like what you are showcasing here. Whats shown on the video looks like the first version of Hyper Go, while the second (current) version of Hyper Go has 5 connectors on ESC and more metal stabilizers.

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  Год назад

      That would be correct. Aside from the Hosim the HyperGo keeps changing. While mine is still available they've since updated the truck and I'm betting your referring to the one that looks more like a stadium truck with a light bar and not the buggy. I've purchased several and the original from MJX wasn't even available on Amazon when I ordered it. I believe I got it from AliExpress or Banggood. I actually have a few MJX drones that work just fine. But at the time of the filming of this video that's what was available to me. I guess I could get what is the most current model to see if it holds up any better but the Hosim was so durable I never considered going back to MJX. I thought I did another video on the Hypergo Brushless but maybe not. That one was a buggy but didn't have the GPS option I don't believe. And was mighty heavy.
      If you go to the MJX site there is a way to see how many versions they've done and you are correct about the ESC wiring. Like I said, I'll check out what Amazon has now and see if it's worth revisiting. Thank you for the comment!

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  Год назад

      Yes it looks like the GPS model now available is the H16GT. The reviews on Amazon look good. I may give that a shot. I went to there site and it looks like they're selling their GPS seperate with a receiver. I will definitely be ordering that to try on other cars so I owe you a big thank you for commenting when you did. I did check and you'll see I did review another Hypergo brushless a month after this video. It did not have GPS but I really thought it should. I think I'm going to do an update video since so much more has hit the market! Thanks!

      Dude I have no idea. I tried to put that GPS on another car with zero success because the transmitter, gps, and esc are all tied together and the ESC was way to small for the new car (Rustler VXL.) I have no clue with how well that worked it isn't on all their cars!

  • @vicsaggu

    I completly agree with you. Hosim over all are better than MJX. I have 2 1/16 scales from MJX one brushed green one you have and one brushless monster truck . Straight up junk . The green one motor gets really hot and the brushless one has issues with rear end both shafts clipping the spring when the truck moves. Hosim on the other end has way better quality control. i bought the same one you have , and its amazing, both looks wise and quality wise , and then I bought Hosim Q905 brushless from amazon and that truggy is tough and well built . The motor is the smoothest brushless motor that I have ever driven along with a truck that handles like a dream. Try to review a Hosim Q905 and I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  Год назад +1

      You know I didn't have the same experience. Think it lasted about 15-17 minutes. After a few cycles charging it see if it improves. Could've just not been stored at a good level. If you have a good charger you can balance charge it and see if both cells equal out or you can buy a different small 2s or small 3s that fits the tray and just go that route. They're supposed to sell the 3s that fits separately but I haven't had luck finding them alone so I'm using stuff I have. Thanks for the question! Fun car!

    I’m trying to pick out a R/C car for my nephew and I was wondering if I should go with this exact truck from Hosim or the Laegendary Legend ? The Legend is on sale for $76.00 on Amazon and the Hosim is $60.00 and he new to the hobby.

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  2 года назад +1

      Actually this one is pretty easy. You're gonna want to go with the Hosim. The Legendary Legend is a 6 shock truck that holds up pretty well but the chassis design is a little outdated. It doesn't allow any room for growth with the car. If he takes to the hobby he'd be pretty much fixing what breaks on that model and then preparing to get something better. The Hosim chassis and parts are being shared across a bunch of platforms and the size of the driveline and dogbones, esc, and motor allow him to fix whatever breaks and upgrade it pretty much until the chassis is destroyed in which case even that's available for 12 bucks. But the kicker is the GPS which is another fun feature. He's not going to be unhappy with either but 60 bucks for a Hosim is a steal! Best of luck and happy shopping! Thank you for the question!

    • @JJ-lu6mg
      @JJ-lu6mg 2 года назад +1

      Thank you I really appreciate your time and feedback. I’ll definitely go with the “Hosim” Hyper Go unless there anything else you would recommend in the $100 dollar price range. That deal for $60 on the Hosim was without the GPS I think it jumps up to $100 with it. I’m getting the itch myself to get back into the hobby and I have to say that I really like how in-depth your reviews are I just subscribed to your channel. Thx again 👍🏼

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  2 года назад

      I really appreciate it. No I'd think that Hosim would be a good starting point under $100 and then I'd say the Arrma Boost Granite, Senton, and Vorteks would be the under $200 cars. In between a lot of different cars come to mind in that $100 to $200 range but we'd have to discuss what you really want to do so I could point you in the right direction because some come with batteries while others don't and they're a lot of different uses. You could always hit me up on FB at that point and I could help you out. Thanks so much for the sub and kind words! Hope I see you out there!

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  Год назад

      I literally got the first Hypergo to come out and they weren't brushless. And I got them from Aliexpress and Amazon. But the quality has changed since the video was done. I'd do a Hypergo again. And I raved about the last model I got. It was a beast but it was a brushed car. At that price point I didn't expect it to knock my socks off but even without the speed it was great. But the car's abilities hadn't caught up to where they are now. And the current models have terrific reviews. At the time of this shooting those were the only cars available. It's quite common for the first round of cars to get updates and change and get new versions which is the case here. And I plan on getting a few but that doesn't make what happened to me with these first offerings any less true. And if they turn out to be awesome I'll say so.

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  Год назад

      And here was the next offering from Hypergo supplied from MJX and didn't come with the GPS which was my recommendation for the brushless model. And the new cars have both brushless and GPS and were made considerably lighter. I wasn't even close to being the first person or last to say what was said in the first video. And I think its course correction is awesome. People should be able to see the difference in their releases and see they're not running what they did then. They evolved. Which is great! ruclips.net/video/hTSpirxGdMg/видео.html
      My next one was quick but heavy and I call it like it is. Needed GPS. And lastly in this video Hosim just had a better offering than MJX at the time.

    • @redvikinghobbies
      @redvikinghobbies  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, sometimes at the factory they get the wiring wrong. Take off the esc and swap the blue and yellow wire. If it's not blue and yellow don't worry. It only reverses the way the motor spins. You probably like any other reasonable person matched the wires. Usually it's just the sleeve colors don't match. Wish I could send you a pic but it looks like there's a space on the ESC that's left open in between yellow and blue. If you want to email me at redvikinghobbies@gmail.com a picture of yours or just a note I'll send a pic back. I did 3 cars in this vid. The first two were duds so im assuming it's the Hosim version of the Hypergo but either way I'd swap the wires into the esc disregarding color without the battery in and start again. You don't need to touch the motor side because it'll just spin the opposite way and require a solder job. Easier to just swap connections.
