Dress advice for a rock show: Dont dress like you just got there after 18 holes at the country club. Sheesh
What does it matter what they dress like? They're there to play music not appear in a fashion show.
I highly doubt that Youth will take even the slightest notice of your dress advice. Should "costume" matter a shite? Maybe the idea is "judge me on what I do & not how I might look"
The singing is crap though, but I seem to recall it always was.
