I know I saw this before Covid, and was impressed at the time. Since it was late career, even though I'm the oldest fan, of course I didn't pay much attention. Now of course, it turns out to be a prophetic song. God these guys got a lot done in their lives.

Totally agree. I'd almost put them partly in the genre of trance rock. Like Loop, but heavier I suppose. More lyrically driven, but the riffs have always been repetitious like a mantra. Dig it. Godflesh later did the same thing. Broadrick is a big Killing Joke fan.

The lyrics remind me of a Motörhead song. I fucking love Killing Joke. They’ve never sold out. I've been a Killing Joke fan from the beginning - circa 1980. I saw them live twice in Chicago, at Tuts and Metro. They are a phenomenal band and were always way ahead of the curve. They are still touring in 2020.
