4 days before Geordie passed i said to my 16 yr daughter " before i get too old, i WILL take you to see killing joke " !! Its 1 of the things i really really wanted to do... I will never see them ever play again & that pisses me off. Seen em around 30 times and it was never enough.
Thanks for sharing this. I had a stall seat but managed to make it to near the front to dance. Then I was really lucky by getting into the after show party and met Jaz C which was one of my lifelong dreams. He's so talented and of course the rest of the band. They never fail to entertain!
Magnificent gig In magnificent venue. I was in first circle and tried to jump the barrier onto the dance floor. Totally stacked it and had to have a sit down! Us punks getting old! Great footage 🖤♥️🖤
Last decade, I saw Killing Joke in NYC in two small venues. Irving Plaza in 2018 and the much smaller Saint Vitus Bar in 2019. The latter show was incredible. But this show at the big Royal Albert had to be something damn special.
Got lucky and saw them twice on this warm up at Colchester arts centre..was ridiculous!! Bass frequency was mad! Played for over 2hrs only got 11/2 here not complaining tho was relentless!! Can't wait to see their new stuff ✊
was at colchester as well, was a bit special wasn't it? but always was going to be KJ in a former church with a full moon, talk about all the stars aligned!
Superb stuff. They're on great form. Wish I could've been there, they were the first band I ever saw way back in 1981 and still a huge fan. Unfortunately all the good seats sold out before I could get my shit together to get a ticket. Ah well, they'll be back at Rock City soon I'm sure.
I confess , when I saw this gig advertised I thought " too expensive" & decided to be content with seeing them Roundhouse, Acklam Hall & Hammersmith Odeon. I called it wrong 🤣
Two planes, numerous trains, the tube and 48 hrs without sleep. But I got there and it was mind blowing
You have honoured the fire. Peace.
