I bought this figure because it was the only G1 Optimus that was being sold at a collector store near where I live. I was hoping to get Siege Optimus, but I'm so glad I picked this figure up. It's got everything I need for a good Prime figure, nice posability, cool accessories, a trailer, and Orion Pax as a bonus. I wish it came with an axe, but I'll live. He's surprisingly fun to animate too, despite being out of scale with my other transformer figures. 9/10 best Prime figure from the Prime Wars trilogy
I tend to peg on the sword from Transformers Toys Generations War for Cybertron: Kingdom Commander WFC-K29 Rodimus Prime to make up for not having that axe.
I have to admit the fact that, I´ve seen this figure review many times, different channels, and you are the one selling it, I didnt like the figure because many reviewer focused on the Orion Pax and his truck mess, but you gave it another direction and looking at it from this point of view, the figure is awesome, you did a nice job HIGHLIGHTING ITS STRONG POINTS, like I´m telling my friends around me, they say that the old figures are better than the new ones and I´m telling them, no they are not, because before, if you wanted to have "HotRod, Rodimus Prime, Orion Pax and Optimus prime" you had to buy 4 figures now you have to buy 2, at some point if you look at it it i cheaper, this way and another thing is that you don´t need to go to look so much to find all the figures... the last point of criticism is the kibble... I MEAN come on, you are getting two figures in one, and that transform in to 2 separate vehicles each other... WOW!!! not even combiners did that... my point here is the fact that a toy that transforms into 4 different things... its supposed that at least one of the modes is going to suffer... and Hasbro found out the way to balance the kibble... (yes I know that orion pax truck mode was the most affected but...). now to finish I say OUTSTANDING REVIEW MY FRIEND!!!
Xx_nachosupreme69_xX the issue isn't that they're making the vehicle modes a top priority it's that they're focusing entirely too much on gimmicks. Any fault with leader class OP and rodimus lies with the intrusive evolution gimmick Hasbro is giving all the leader class figures
Though the Orion legs maybe dangling from the back I like to imagine it as a little jet pack for Optimus prime ( the Orion knee caps gives me rocket engine vibes) 😊

The Classics had a Deluxe with an awesome robot mode and terrible truck mode, and the Voyager was awesome, but a bit stylised and has a bit of kibble. The only Optimus figures we had until Combiner Wars were his two video game bodies, then the CW was a bit too simple and chunky for most. The Titans Return figures had a rather ugly coloured Powermaster OP and a G2 Optimus in G1 colours. So this new guy didn't have to do much to look better.

Honestly surprised none of the reviewers have been showing Orion with Optimus’s head and Optimus with Orion’s head. Either head on either figure looks great and can be easily done thanks to the engineering
The truck mode may be kinda weak but his robot modes are awesome. The weight is really satisfying with the perfect amount of heft. Target has a reissue now and I don't regret dropping 50 bucks.
Something about this Power of the Primes line is pulling me back into Transformers, got the Grimlock and love him. Optimus and Rodimus are must haves for me, cool to be finding new RUclips channels I've never come across (like this one) since I haven't strayed into Transformers in so long. Excellent review.
With this, the trailer disappearing(like the tv show) takes on a whole new meaning. In the tv show it's like where did the trailer go? Lol. Anyway. For everyone complaining about Optimus Prime's gray bits, such as his hands, I remember the G1 episode, "The Return of Optimus Prime Part 2" where he was all gray due to covering himself with indestructible metal to end the hate plague. So for me these gray bits are the last bits of the metal Optimus wore to take the Matrix of Leadership from Rodimus Prime. Anyone else agree? :D
I’m sitting here with the latest re-release in 2024. Everything feels a little loose on my copy. Especially on the ankles and outwards hinges for the legs. It especially makes it hard to pose or even stand straight without it tipping over forwards or backwards.
Great looking Prime but could you imagine the G1 figures being this hard to transform? I always loved the simplicity of the original toys but seeing how difficult they are now, wow.
If you call this figure difficult to transform, then you need to see the rotf mixmaster because, oh god I would never be able to transform that guy without breaking a part of him in frustration

A a little robot transformed and plugged into a medium sized robot, which is transformed plugged into a big robot. Ladies and gentlemen, the Matryoshka doll of transforming robots.
It's in dire need of some Reprolabels love, but this'll be a much more affordable alternative to the MP-10 to get a proper Optimus for my Universe Classics Autobots! Vehicle mode isn't the best we've seen, but that's not really what I'm looking for. I always pose Optimus as a robot.

I'm starting to think this is accurate to the G1 show. When Optimus transforms, his trailer's missing until he turns back into a truck. There's a few exceptions in a few episodes that includes Roller. How awesome Hasbro provided such wacky thing in this. XD
Great design. From the front. Every other angle is a disaster. Since Takara is just doing this same toy, I'll wait for Wei Jiang to fix this. Adding paint and filling out that Dollar Store Hollow plastic.
I really respect the people behind the making of this toy, as it's a great toy with a unique use of the trailer and is a good replacement for MP-10 if you can't afford it.

I LOVE THE LOOK IT! also, baltmatrix, i feel like that hasbro just might make a remake of the Autobot Multiforce from G2 (i think), and if that happens, me and many Landcross fans WILL BE SO HAPPY! even if all of them are sold separately, i dont care, as long as i get my multiforce fix. ^u^

I actually liked this figure especially the Oran pax form. My only problem is stickers. Even the rodamus crom figure rocked. It's only issue being the arms in the crom form. They are not enough movement.
My Orion Pax’s leg refuses to stay attached, so it’s pretty much impossible to get my figure into any mode besides Optimus’s robot mode. It’s really frustrating, and I hope it’s just this specific figure, otherwise, it’s a total waste of money

the tabs on the legs can break fairly easily. especially if kids play with it. so then they just kinda hang there, and its not great.

Nothing will defeat Hasbro's MP 10 but this is the BEST Optimus prime I've ever seen second after MP 10, but overall great video.

this is by far the best g1 leader class optimus
(only down side is the smoke stacks in the robot mode not appearing in the truck cabin)
