    With that title and thumbnail, I was worried for a moment that you'd found a monkey over there that looked just like Sweet Pea, and the thought of two of him running around in the world had me more scared than anything else I've seen or heard this Halloween.

      Toph there is another retarded monkey and bully named Chucky and funny enough his mother Cora has ONE Eye damaged. In the pigtail troops The channel that records him is "Pigtail Monkeys" It is a good channel you might like it. I love it that the VO talks in the videos and explains things...Those are the best videos when the Vo like Arrozo explains by writing and when Sochhun while his videos are not always good some are when he explains what is going on. ruclips.net/video/3PidDoN0Vrc/видео.html

    I loved this video. Ive always wondered if you had ever seen those videos from Angkor.
    I agree that both species my be related but there is clearly a huge difference between the two.
    Angkor troops are more agressive to each other especially to the babies. They behave as if theyve lost how to nuture their young. Many attack and harm them,abandom or dont feed them. Young females and males kidnap newborns for days. They drag them around by the tail,fall from trees while starving. Babies are lucky if they make it to 6 months. Most are obese and lazy.
    Then theres sweetpea. I believe he is so spoiled from Popeye hes become a nightmare. Hes jealous of babies while their nursing. He actually grabs their heads and pulls them away. Several still nurse him,which is disturbing. Many attack and bite him.
    I love watching the monkeys on the hill and your videos. The difference is refreshing. The babies are so much more beautiful and happy.
    Its a privledge to watch a species in their natural environment without alot of human inter action. Thank you.

    I would love to see poor sweetpea's troop have a nice calm quiet environment such as this and where you normally film. However until officials run them people off or forbid them to chase, yell or feed them, I honestly don't think those poor animals will ever get that. You can tell a huge difference in their behavior and the behavior of say reddys troop. An it is such a shame those poor animals have to endure that. I noticed there is a couple of different breeds in that area. The one I loved the most is who they called rozy. What few videos I watched of her and rocky she seemed like a truly awesome momma. She refused to let any of the other monkeys kidnap him. However once I learned what they was doing and could see with my own eyes I stopped watching. However she is a beautiful monkey as well as her offspring. It's nice to learn about these animals and how the troops work. Indeed thank you for your love and labor of these animals.

    • @LivinLikacat

      Sabrina 79 I don’t know much about Sweetpea nor his troop but the LT’s there in Angkor Wat are so obese it’s disgusting and I feel very sorry for them. I did follow one channel there for little Lola with the messed up arm but unsubscribed Papa Song’s channel as soon as I found out when watching Arroz’s recent investigative video that she was confiscated from Socchin (?) and Konthea’s place when they were raided by the authorities.
      I love Rozy too! I think that she is the most beautiful monkey that I’ve ever seen. Yes, she loves Rocky very much and it’s amazing how loving, caring and gentle she is with both Rocky and his older sister Roxana! I sometimes watch them on the channel Monkey Life TV, I think that is the name, because I feel that he is one of the good VO’s and doesn’t harass the monkeys. At least I hope that is one of the good ones. There’s always a new one popping up in my feed and am unsure which ones are owned by the bad VO’s so I’m sticking to just these two. I love the pigtail macaques and would love to find a YT channel owned by an honest and caring person like Arroz in the event the channel that I have been watching Rozy & Rocky on turns out to be one of the bad VO’s.
      Anyway, take care and wishing you a wonderful 2020!

    It was interesting to see the RM/LTM hybrids, kind of like seeing Dopey in a bigger size. And great job pointing out the differences between LTMs & RMs. Arroz, have you ever been to Griffith Park in Los Angeles? There are many wild animals that live there, but also tons of visitors that visit there every day. The park contains the Greek Theatre, the Los Angeles Zoo, The Autry Museum, Travel Town, Griffith Park Observatory, hiking trails with 360° views of the Los Angeles basin, homes, a place to rent horses & go for a ride, the Pony rides for kids, the Carousel, Fern Dell, Griffith Park Golf Course & so much more! They have cleanup crews but at any given time, I’m sure you’d go there & you’d find trash strewn about. That doesn’t mean that locals don’t care, visitors don’t care, the cleanup crews don’t care & if there were any VOs there, that they don’t care. It’s a humongous job that can be worked on 24/7 & it still wouldn’t be enough. End of my rant! ♥️

    I absolutely love sweet pea to be honest out of his troupe I really do not find him to be the most terrible, evil thing everyone makes him out to be. You have to understand the circumstances, sweet pea is a product of his environment he is in an area that caters only to tourism and doesn’t give crap 1 about the monkeys inhabiting the area. They are fed every single day, with junk food, soda, candy etc by human hands and are extremely food aggressive and lazy due to the lack of any real need to do much for themselves. Sweet pea was born into that.But as I watch these videos It becomes ever more apparent how damaging and horrible what’s going on there actually is, there are no fat monkeys in the area where these videos are filmed, all the monkeys are fit to go about their day and live normal monkey lives, they actually forage and follow their hierarchy. There isn’t trash laying everywhere in any of these videos and junk food wrappers floating around and the water isn’t murky brown when you do see it. It just makes me sad what people have done to the other monkeys in other videos, and I’m happy to have found this channel so I can watch the real way these animals live and interact when undisturbed. Now if only other vos would follow the example here maybe all the videos would be better.

    As always thank you for the information.I prefer the short tale specially if it’s name is DOPEY 😁 .The look of the short tale macaque , I find just more attractive but that is me .next to the snow monkey there personality and looks are more eye catching . they seem to have more smarts . the long tales seem to be a-little short in the brain department they are still cute but next to the snow and short tales I feel and only my opinion is like putting a yugo next a Toyota and saying they are the same thing. I enjoyed watching facts filled videos on such fun subjects as the monkeys ,being in America the only monkeys I can see are one in zoos it’s just not the same I believe it robs the animals in some way the imprints that are put on them by the humans that care for them even if they are good ones and heath wise the best .there surrounding in most cases are still artificial and man made there fore not real watching the inter action on the videos shown here like Arroz’s just gives a taste of what a wild monkey behaves like in the wild and the world that surrounds them .ok I know it’s not the jungle but next to a zoo I believe they show more of their natural behavior in the park and to me more fun to watch . The different kind of monkeys they have there and how to tell them apart really showed me something new and I thank you for that.🌼🌻💐🙊🌺🐵🌸🐒🦋👀

    There is a pet monkey channel in Vietnam, monkey baby Moo. Its owner claims it is a LTM but I have said before I think it is a hybrid of LTM and rhesus because it has a tail shorter than longtail and longer than rhesus and it moves its tail just like a rhesus. There are other things about its appearance that made me think it was a hybrid but until I did a little research I didn't even know if they had rhesus but I found out they do. So maybe I was right. Anyone else watched little Moo and have an opinion?

    • @anonymoustwo4031

      Yes I think you are right monkey Moo is hybrid. There is a whole troop of hybrid monkeys in Vietnam which also has a channel for them called "Pigtail monkeys" .You can watch them and find the similarities.

      hi Debra Vietnam is a long slender country straddling both the subtropical and tropical zones so they do have rhesus up in the north. I haven't seen Monkey Moo but if it's tail is not as long as a LTM, it's likely to be a hybrid. But you should also consider that it has pig tailed blood too.

  • @AmieeBoyd

    I have watched hundreds of videos of both LTM & RM babies, and they seem to exhibit very differently. Where RM will occasionally act a little bratty or have a little tantrum, the LTM babies seem much more inclined to fit throwing in general. Can anyone tell me why that is? Is it related to their habitat differences? Or is it just related to the types of videos that are most frequently posted?

    • @ArrozMarisco360
      @ArrozMarisco360  5 лет назад

      I think it's more peculiar to macaques that are descendants of abandoned pets as their hand-raised ancestors would not know how to parent naturally. Their descendants would be just as clueless. The Angkor forest was considered extinct in the 60s and after the massive famine under Pol Pot in the 70s and 80s the forest was wiped out of most wildlife completely. Most of these macaques you see in Angkor and in many temples elsewhere in Cambodia have only a rather short history of 20-30 years.

    • @ArrozMarisco360
      @ArrozMarisco360  5 лет назад +1

      and the truly reverted wild-type is known as the forest troop there. They are scared of people like most wild macaques do and you don't get to see them getting filmed much as a result.

      Thank you for the info! I am a psychology major and have studied human behavior for years now. In the past year, however, I have taken a strong interest in non-human primates and macaques in particular, as I believe that we can learn a lot about human behavior (especially infant attachment) by studying the behaviors of these animals. I have been noting the differences in my observations of macaques in the wild vs ones kept as pets vs ones in captivity at my local zoo (where they have a pretty good sized LTM troop). Your videos have been a huge help and I love and appreciate your work so much! Are there any other good resources that you would recommend? Thanks!
