I noticed right after he had scored, he kept his distance from Mom & good thinking to give her something substantial to keep her busy for a bit. So glad he got to keep the portion. Sweet little poppet.

Hollie, Tina can live without Tiny. Tiny cannot survive without Tina. Tina is key here. She cannot produce milk on no fuel. Therefore she has the right to take what she needs.
Tammy Cambell - the reality of life hits hard but it is what it is....better her than another member doing it! They look better everytime I see them...which is only about a couple hours of their week so I am sure there is LOTS of nursing and food untaken we just do not see :)

WOW his limb movement is so restricted especially on the extension. I do not know if this is caused through muscle weakness or some malformation of the tendons. If he was human he would need some serious physiotherapy and on going support but ........ Thanks Arroz

Considering how quickly Tiny learned to forage i think truly attributtes to his survival....big difference between he & Bobbin.... I really feel Tiny had alot of instinct on his side for some reason....where as Bobbin never stood a chance...

It's terrible enough when humans have their outrageous class systems, but animals? I never new they had them as well. Rhesus monkeys are so smart and the baby's and older kids so cute! I know you must have heard all this many times before, but i'd like to thank you for having a kind heart and loving soul. Thank you for going out to Monkey Hill not only when the weather is nice, but for going when the weather is raining or snowing or so terribly hot. For going when you've had a hard week at work, and would really rather just stay home and rest. Alot of love is put into the videos you make of the lives of these Rhesus Macaques. These monkeys have accepted you into their lives. It was so amazing the day Gypsy came to your defence. I can just imagine the joy in your heart when this happened. Hi Arroz, I've been enjoying your videos for several months. I have a question. What happens to those babies who disappear? I'm assuming they may fall and die, get attached by other animals, etc. But I wondered if there are "poachers" who kidnap them to sell as pets? I've watched videos from people who, apparently, live in the south of the United States (must be legal down there) and they get them as little babies. I'm in California and I never see people here with monkeys. It's so sad when the little ones go missing. 😭

I wonder if Tiny has many teeth cuz if his bone growth is stunted maybe his teeth aren't strong or all there. A few times I've seen his mouth open I didn't see teeth but of course that doesn't mean he doesn't have any. The main reason I thought about his teeth is cuz he eats slow for a monkey trying to gobble up his goodies as fast as he can. Just my opinion :)
He had those beans almost gone before she took some, and Tiny was hanging around her the whole begining he never hid as others are saying until the other monkey gave him the "wild brow stare"....I think Tina is fine and knows exactly what she is doing and loves her little one as much as he loves her :)
I read the comments & seen people were saying she tried to take his food again so I had to stop the video.. I can't stand to see her ripping his mouth wide open to get all his little bit of food like she did before, so it was nice seeing Lil Tiny while it lasted.. I love the Lil fella
I don't think she took anything from him. In the first 2 occurances you can not see her take anything from him, it may look like it, but if you look closer, you just see her pull pinched fingers from his mouth to hers, but you don't actually see anything in her fingers, however you can see her push food from her own full pouches into her mouth and eat. In the 3d one you don't see her retrieve anything from his pouches. All 3 times other troop members were around and I think she did it all for show.
Awe...the moment Tina took food out of little Tiny's mouth, my heart broke for him. Poor little guy. Not only is it sad he has to hide from all the other monkeys when he finds something to eat but his own mom too... I know there's the whole thing with food to make milk for him but he doesn't get to nurse much so he's not getting a whole lot of benefit from his food being scraped from his pouches. 😟
Thank you so very much for feeding the 2 of them!! Makes me so angry when Tina takes his food out of his mouth no less!!! She even smelled of his breathe!!! I do not know how he got to keep some of his beans! She she took some of his beans! How did he get to keep some of them she surley isn't smart enough to know he has got to have a bit for himself or he will eventually die!? I thought back when we seen her do that the first time that he has got to smarten up fast and learn to lay low and do not come near mom or he will lose his find every time!! He figured it out! So glad but it was so sad to see him going back and forth up and down every time he thought she maybe coming for the rest of his beans! I really think that his motor skills never had a chance to get better like most babies because when he did learn to forage he was all balled up crouching looking for bits to eat. So normal babies get to walk around and play with other babies learning and getting better all the time. When we watch the babies even all alone running so fast to the trees and flying from branch to branch like crazy that confidence came from all the playing they get to do. I don't suppose there are any babies that he would ever get to play with in his troop. Don't they learn real young who they are not to pal around with?
It seems like these monkeys must be further away from tourists and are made to forage more. In orher vids it shows truckloads of food strewn about. Teet Pea eats more in a day than this entire troup.
Thank you so much for helping them Arroz. She is a pretty cruddy mother. I understand they are greedy and selfish with food but she still had food in her pouches when she tried taking all of his. And she won't allow much Milk. She didn't concentrate on teaching him much since he still has difficulties in trying to walk or play. He is smart though. Avoiding her as much as possible when he had his few beans.. shows this is something she normally does. It's not easy being the bottom of the rung Monkey but teaching your baby to walk and not being so hard on him that he shows his teeth if he dare come close to Milk. I mean.... I thought this baby had some form of Dwarfism. For the way he wouldn't use his hips when he walked, the way he held his hands and for never joining in with any of the kids who play together no matter where they're parent is on the scale. Knotty and Knitty were taught and are let go to get food for themselves and they can pack it in good. Without Gypsy unloading their pouching for herself.
Mandy D. His difficulty in walking has nothing to do with teaching him to walk & play. He's got something wrong with him. Also, baring of the teeth is also a sign of submission. There are very slight differences between the two "grimaces". The open mouthed stare is the one that is serious. LOL Tina's survival is key to Tony's survival and she does the best she can.
@@kkossor3046 Now that Tiny has grown it's a relief to see that he is doing so well. It's sad that he lost his baby brother, he just could not make it like Tiny did in the circumstances he was born into, I was happy he would have a brother to connect with but he has made social leaps and bounds. A normal little Monkey is a relief for this guy all around. :)

She has to survive to ensure Tiny’s survival. Tiny needs a lot of milk that Tina doesn’t have because of her low status. Not ideal, but that’s Mother Nature @ work & that’s the way things work out in the monkey world. Tiny needs more milk than solids right now just to catch up & for his bones (& honestly, Tiny may never catch up to a “normal” size for a six month old & older); & if Tina died because she didn’t get enough to eat, then Tiny would most certainly die shortly thereafter. The same people complaining now are probably the same ones complaint that Reddy was doting & spoiling Dopey too much as well as how Gypsy was treating Knotty. You just have to accept the fact that there’s little any of us can do abt the situation & let Mother Nature take it’s course. Sometimes Mother Nature can be a very harsh & unforgiving mistress; & babies we’ve become attached to, die. That’s the way of the world.

I absolutely detest Tina. Poor little Tiny did everything he could to keep out of Tina's clutches so he could eat what little bit of beans he got. But as soon as Tina ate her food, she went straight to Tiny and started raiding his little pouches. What a disgusting mother she is. Luckily he ate most of it before she had the chance to get much of it. Then Tiny gets away and hides from her again. She maybe his mother and there is a natural instinct to want to be close to your mother when so little but, she is an awful mother to all her babies.
She is a wild animal and not a human. No animal will sacrifice themselves for their young. People would be sad if they saw another animal do this, but they wouldn't hate them like they do when a monkey behaves like a wild animal because they see them so similar to us and so they are judged based on human standards. It's hard to see, but it's what animals do. There's no deep loving connection to their little ones no matter how much you pretend there is

Awe...the moment Tina took food out of little Tiny's mouth, my heart broke for him. Poor little guy. Not only is it sad he has to hide from all the other monkeys when he finds something to eat but his own mom too... I know there's the whole thing with food to make milk for him but he doesn't get to nurse much so he's not getting a whole lot of benefit from his food being scraped from his pouches. 😟

Thank you so very much for feeding the 2 of them!! Makes me so angry when Tina takes his food out of his mouth no less!!! She even smelled of his breathe!!! I do not know how he got to keep some of his beans! She she took some of his beans! How did he get to keep some of them she surley isn't smart enough to know he has got to have a bit for himself or he will eventually die!? I thought back when we seen her do that the first time that he has got to smarten up fast and learn to lay low and do not come near mom or he will lose his find every time!! He figured it out! So glad but it was so sad to see him going back and forth up and down every time he thought she maybe coming for the rest of his beans!
I really think that his motor skills never had a chance to get better like most babies because when he did learn to forage he was all balled up crouching looking for bits to eat. So normal babies get to walk around and play with other babies learning and getting better all the time. When we watch the babies even all alone running so fast to the trees and flying from branch to branch like crazy that confidence came from all the playing they get to do. I don't suppose there are any babies that he would ever get to play with in his troop. Don't they learn real young who they are not to pal around with?
It seems like these monkeys must be further away from tourists and are made to forage more. In orher vids it shows truckloads of food strewn about. Teet Pea eats more in a day than this entire troup.
He is guide cute with his knowing stay away so he can eat doesn’t want that milk right now need it later to wash these beans down with.

She is a pretty cruddy mother. I understand they are greedy and selfish with food but she still had food in her pouches when she tried taking all of his. And she won't allow much Milk. She didn't concentrate on teaching him much since he still has difficulties in trying to walk or play.
He is smart though. Avoiding her as much as possible when he had his few beans.. shows this is something she normally does.
It's not easy being the bottom of the rung Monkey but teaching your baby to walk and not being so hard on him that he shows his teeth if he dare come close to Milk.
I mean.... I thought this baby had some form of Dwarfism. For the way he wouldn't use his hips when he walked, the way he held his hands and for never joining in with any of the kids who play together no matter where they're parent is on the scale.
Knotty and Knitty were taught and are let go to get food for themselves and they can pack it in good.

Mandy D. His difficulty in walking has nothing to do with teaching him to walk & play. He's got something wrong with him. Also, baring of the teeth is also a sign of submission. There are very slight differences between the two "grimaces". The open mouthed stare is the one that is serious. LOL Tina's survival is key to Tony's survival and she does the best she can.
@@kkossor3046 Now that Tiny has grown it's a relief to see that he is doing so well. It's sad that he lost his baby brother, he just could not make it like Tiny did in the circumstances he was born into, I was happy he would have a brother to connect with but he has made social leaps and bounds. A normal little Monkey is a relief for this guy all around. :)

She has to survive to ensure Tiny’s survival. Tiny needs a lot of milk that Tina doesn’t have because of her low status. Not ideal, but that’s Mother Nature @ work & that’s the way things work out in the monkey world. Tiny needs more milk than solids right now just to catch up & for his bones (& honestly, Tiny may never catch up to a “normal” size for a six month old & older); & if Tina died because she didn’t get enough to eat, then Tiny would most certainly die shortly thereafter.
The same people complaining now are probably the same ones complaint that Reddy was doting & spoiling Dopey too much as well as how Gypsy was treating Knotty. You just have to accept the fact that there’s little any of us can do abt the situation & let Mother Nature take it’s course. Sometimes Mother Nature can be a very harsh & unforgiving mistress; & babies we’ve become attached to, die. That’s the way of the world.

He hides so he can eat... she’s always close. Tina has never tried to be good with any troop. She grooms pretends anyway only her children,.. does not present herself to groom anybody that’s how they make connections she’s too good for that. Nobody will groom her because they see what she does to her kids

I absolutely detest Tina. Poor little Tiny did everything he could to keep out of Tina's clutches so he could eat what little bit of beans he got. But as soon as Tina ate her food, she went straight to Tiny and started raiding his little pouches. What a disgusting mother she is. Luckily he ate most of it before she had the chance to get much of it. Then Tiny gets away and hides from her again. She maybe his mother and there is a natural instinct to want to be close to your mother when so little but, she is an awful mother to all her babies.
She is a wild animal and not a human. No animal will sacrifice themselves for their young. People would be sad if they saw another animal do this, but they wouldn't hate them like they do when a monkey behaves like a wild animal because they see them so similar to us and so they are judged based on human standards. It's hard to see, but it's what animals do. There's no deep loving connection to their little ones no matter how much you pretend there is
Sometimes I think she’s a good mom but when she sneaks off and does what she does she’s busted playing a part. No monkey is hated there as bad as her. There’s got to be reasoning behind it
