I'm all for slow and precise movements for practice, but the attacker must not stop and wait. It would be interesting to see the attacker try to do a slow right-left combo while you try to time your technique with his first punch.
Jesse Enkamp did a Bujinkan video on this same technique (I believe it was the I trained with a ninja one) any particular reason for bending the spine before going for the foot sweep?
Not a hapkido guy but the technique is similar to one we do in kempo. Misaligning someone’s spine breaks their balance and they won’t be able to resist the sweep. My one question would be why would they use the front foot to sweep? They’ve transferred all the weight to the front. Now the defender has to shift his weight to the back leg, pick up the front leg, then get it behind the attacker’s front leg to do the sweep. Of course, this technique is probably meant to teach more about the effectiveness of moving someone’s spine.
Why is your left hand guard so low? Is the style? There's no way the hand will come up fast to block and counter a punch to the face with your hand so low. Try it again with both hands guarding your face then your hand will have less distance to move to block your opponent.
I spent years in tae kwon do. It doesn't work in a street fight. Unless you are a grandmaster and have very very good kicks with power and precision along with great hands, you will not win a street fight with taekwondo..

Now can we see how effective it is in real time

They probably have one hand low to assist with blocking lower attacks (eg kicks to the body).
