I’m just a month old, got a plan for marine wetsuit & thought about selling it. Now I know! Ty. I do sell ammo for 1 cap, I saw another vendor do that, but the berry mentats, I had no idea, will make them now for sure. A veteran dropped the plan for the fixer, I had no clue it was so popular!
Ammo and plans is what I sell and I'm always at the caps limit but I never thought about selling under armor so I'm gonna have to try that. Also I wish more people would sell canned coffee
That was you? 😂 I put them there for new players. Greedy pants. It's ok. I have a double acid extractor camp and another for double lead extractor. I also use excavator PA to mine lead in the Black Betty Mine (southeastern area of map)
Two things I say to everyone. 1. Make your vending machine easy to find and do not have it on an upper floor, or at the end of a maze. If I don't spot your vendor in the first ten seconds after spawning in you just lost a sale. 2. Build more than one vending machine in your camp. That way if more than one person is at your camp or you are in the middle of restocking they don't have to wait for you to get out of the way to browse your wares.
My most sold items are food, plans/recipies, and bulk junk. Since i called myself the 99 cap store mi vission is to sell quality goods at low low prices most expencive items cap at 99 caps. The chepest at 1 and i dont care of caps that much since my goall is to buy all the new plans in game so i dont care how fast my inventory gose.
Do what works for you! Messing with prices is something you always need to do! Half of the time, I have high-quality items set to 1 cap just to get rid of them! Everyone will be looking out for you in the game to get the best prices I know I will!
Junk is usualy my most unwantead item sinc on my travles i colect so much of it things like coper are at 20 cps. Ore oil 10cps. Recently i had to put fussion cores in stock since i was overflowing whit them. Nothing above 99cps
@@CaptainDonut0 Rare junk can be an easy thing to acquire but can fetch a high price because people can display them in their camp. Look for things like the violin or other instruments which can easily sell for 500 caps or more. All you have to do is server hop until you find what you want, then put it up for sale. Be sure not to use RECYCLE ALL JUNK before putting the rare junk on your vendor though!
I already sold a lot of stuff and made good caps, but I found in your video some good extra advice, especially when it comes to selling weapons and chems. Cheers for that. What I also found out, that will mostly sell well, is, when you sell junk (especially copper, lead, aluminum, acid and oil), but for sweet spot prices. The sweet spot price for highly desired junk items are somewhere between the game's recommended price for that certain item and the prices from NPC-vendors. Prices for rare and highly desired junk items, like copper for instance, can also be higher, as long, as it is equal or slightly cheaper, than from a NPC-vendor. For those Items, if you sell it for a fairly lower price, than from NPC-vendors, but still high enough over the price, that the game recommends, you are good to go. People will buy it. I also just offer all other junk items, but with slightly lower prices, because they are not so desired and easier to find, but just to have more offerings and to get people interested.
@5:12 You're ridiculously overcharging for those legendary weapons. If I came across your camp, I'd get some fertilizer, hop on your bed and drop it there.
Did sell underarmor but it never really moved. Took weeks to get one sale. But that was a long time ago. But it also seemed to sell at a price less than the price you get for the flux needed to make it. So to max caps, its better to sell the flux instead.
I've been selling under armor here and there. I think they'd sell more if people knew what they actually did. But flux is a very good alternative farming it isn't my favourite but you can definitely make bank from it!
I've been following trading economy on PC and consoles for the last few months and, apparently, they differ a lot. The stuff(usually weapons and armor) that people sell on consoles for thousands most of the time won't fetch even a few hundred caps on PC(I play on PC only). Could it be oversaturated PC market or just extremely small player base? That I don't know.
I think it's just a lack of stock on consoles, I feel like PC people can get items faster and more efficient. Maybe more of a community than console? I'm not entirely sure!
Berry mentats is one that I would focus on if you're still newish. It's very easy to farm, and if you have super duper and the chemist perks, you can make so much!
Quick sells are as follow for me starred Weps and Armor 100 Caps per star Outfits like the milkman, BOS uniforms and the Halloween costume which i sell the most at 150 caps per. Alighned barrel and other barrel plans for the Plasma weps 250 caps per Marine armor plans at 500 caps per BOS uniforms plans at 500 per you can get the plans by just farming Cranberry Bog treasure maps 1,2 and 3. If you need to find those maps just check player vendors through the map setting and it will be listed under MISC. Never buy the maps at anything over 2 caps per map as thats overpriced.
Ultrasite power armor plans are very common most people sell them for 1 cap. The only ultracite power armor piece worth anything is the emergency protocol plan :D
I try to sell fixers for 2000 caps, nothing, 1500 caps, nothing, even 1000 caps and only a few buy. I am in great locations and all I can sell is maps and magazines.
I tried to sell guns... 20-50 caps modded and repair , targeted new players ... I didn't make hardly any sales on the guns... i dropped them all to 5 caps today
You sir are completely wrong about ammo. Fusion cells, cryo cells, plasma cartridges and gamma rounds are worth 2 caps each. people BURN through those ammo types so if they don't wanna grind for it they will buy 1000 rounds for 2k
oml I should have just kept watching. For plans use the 10 percent rule say something is worth 100 caps put it at 10, 150? say 15 its simple just use common sense man
Right, so you want me to sell a pepper shaker plan for less than 100 caps? Doesn't seem like common sense... also, if you sell ammo more than 1 cap, people will more than likely leave. There's a few exceptions like fusion cores or rockets.
There are enough people out there who'll sell those ammo types for 1 cap however, so when I see someone selling cryo for 2+ caps, I'll just skip it and find it elsewhere. And gamma rounds? Next to no one uses gamma guns so you can sit on those for months.
I sell coffee for 5 caps each, all flavor cola for 5 caps each. 1 star for 65 caps, 2 stars for 165 caps, and 3 stars for 325 caps. Unyielding is double that price. I sell maps for 50 caps. All cems are 3 to 6 caps. Mutation serum for 400 caps. Currently have 45000 ammo of various type, 1 cap per. Also, sell disease cures as fast as i can craft them for 20 caps each. All my plans and recipes are 30 caps each, unless it's event related.. example, the pepper shaker plan, i have 3 for 6000 caps each. I make about 20000 caps a day. Normally, I end up buying stupid crap from new players. If i can not find your shop in 30 seconds of being there, i leave. If you are trying to sell plans , for example, a human tube for 5000 caps or serums for 1000 caps or crappy legendary for 4000 caps... i leave immediately... I sell cheap and a lot.. Don't get scammed by overpriced junk. Look around!
Depends on how long you are on and how much the server is occupied.. I'm more interested in what scrap to keep and drop as 75% if my junk needs but which is annoying.
In my experience, these prices are way to high. I sell a bit of stuff at super low prices. I never purchase plans or weapons at the prices this guy is recommending.
If I see people who have things priced at $40,000 such as a worthless piece of paper saying “you’re a dumbass”… No, they are the dumbass because they lose money😂😂 when you insult your guests… They laugh at you …..out the door
I found a player selling 300 purified water for 3 caps each. I bought all he had because I could sell it to an NPC vendor for 5 caps each. My advice is, use level 3 hard bargain and check how much you can sell an item to a vendor for, that's the minimum your should charge. Then check how much it costs to buy it from a vendor, that's the maximum you should charge. If an NPC vendor sells a particular item, they are setting the price range for it and you need to follow it.
100 berry mentats in 20 mins 😂 you gotta make 100 mentats first bro lol I’d love to see you knock out 100 of each in 20 mins why you think ppl buy them
Trust me, dude, I can make them in 20 minutes 😅 and then after that, I can make another 100 in 20 minutes! I've perfected the Berry Mentats production!
Common plans and recipes won't sell for more than 10 caps. Plus only new players will want them anyway and they don't really have caps. The Delbert recipes will sell for around 100 caps for some reason even though they're easy enough to find. The recipes from the Berkley area, like headhunters headcheese, will sell for 300 caps. Bobbleheads depend on the bobblehead, INT and Leader will sell for 200-500 caps. magazines? there are very few that are worth close to 100 caps, most are garbage and should sell for around 20 caps. Live and Love 3, for example, is one of the mags you can probably get 200 for.
unyielding armor is only good if it has +1 intelligence. you're running that armor as bloodied to grind xp otherwise you'll die a lot. the only under armor you need is shielded flannel or shielded t-shirt for the XP grind, the rest is junk. run secret service under armor as a full health build.
What prices? A lot of the community sells at these prices for a majority of stuff, but hey, the 8000 caps I made today while recording a new video says differently. Would you like to see!
After all this years i just learnt a thing about public map icon. thank you, sir.

I'm only level 26 and bought my first Fixer at a player vendor for 30 caps! I was pumped!!
Dang I paid like 800
Ammo and plans is what I sell and I'm always at the caps limit but I never thought about selling under armor so I'm gonna have to try that. Also I wish more people would sell canned coffee
Talking about canned coffee, if you ever see me online, check my vendor. I have them on my alts!

@dustigin the only system I don't play on D: maybe crossplay some day!
I just started selling coffee ☕️
Love going to vendors who price everything 40k 😂
I never thought about under armor in the vending machine 😮 Thank you 😄
I'm glad I could help!
