If you haven't already, check out Matt's Towables review of the Geopro. If you're interested in towables, that unit has an incredibly comfy murphy bed.
In case you wonder if Matt actually responds to requests/emails . . . I sent an email two or three weeks ago asking about a review of this specific Axis/Vegas 24.3 floorplan with the rear bath, got an email back in a week or so, and here's the video!! Thanks Matt and Andrea! I am very impressed with that kind of follow up with all that you are already doing. Not sure really how you keep up the pace!
It never ceases to amaze me how light Matt is on his feet! Cool floorplan, so much storage. No carpet is always a big plus. The co pilot seat area is very spacious. I don't like the curtains in the cab but that's an easy fix. Several options for the pedestal table. Thanks, Andrea and Matt!
I totally agree with Matt about the shower. Would have been better to eliminate the longer counter, move the controls and install a larger shower with a different door.
I love how relaxing 😌 Matt's videos are. I watch ⌚ them just to watch them. But now I'm seriously into the Thor Vegas with the king bed that can turn into 2 beds. Can't beat it. Today's RV is nice, but you can't beat an RV with features you can use without having to activate a slide or flip down a bed.
Nice small 2 person RV. As a taller person this might be better than a Class C for me. I like the compact floor plan and inside storage, as well as towing capacity and drive ability potential. dislikes: very little outside storage, microwave/oven (as Matt said) and shower curtain. I hope to see one in person to get a better idea of the comfort.
Hey Matt and Andrea, I would love to see Andrea drive this one. If she feels confident then I know I could drive it as well. I wanted a small Class C but this coach is so great. I love the light interior and all the storage as well as the drop down bed and murphy bed! I agree with Matt's dislikes but they're not deal breakers for me. Keep on keepin' on!
My wife drives our 24.1 with confidence (same external dimensions) and she had concerns before she got behind the wheel. The 24.1 has beds that are always ready regardless of the slide which sealed the deal for us. Bathroom isn’t perfect but is livable. 24.1 vs. 24.3 decision is based on type of bed and amount of internal vs. external storage. But it’s a winner for size and platform so you just have to choose which floor plan works for you.
Andrea is so right, this is perfect for two people. I love this coach and for a great price. It is the perfect size for my wife and I. ❤️🇨🇦❤️ Cheers!!!
Those Thor Axis/Vegas lines in the 20’s have just wiped everyone else off the map! Please, Thor, donate All those shower curtains to a thrift store. An RV is NO place for wet floors. I vote for Matt’s comment on the shower-bigger is better. 6” of counter space is nothing, 6 more inches in the shower is something to sing about.
Matt and I differ on the importance of a comfortable bed under 35’. You don’t need any cranky customers because they didn’t get a good night’s sleep on that cheap mattress! Fix it-and make electric up/down an option while you are at it. Congratulations Thor! This is the VERT BEST of all two person floor plan s we’ve seen.
You and Andrea are just the best. Your videos are fun and informative. I often think that off video you spend a lot of time with the big RVs and don't "scale down" to the smaller ones when you review. I suspect the manufacturers have to deal with adding all the "bennies" in so small a space yet can only do so much. Keep your videos coming!
I like Thor Matt and Andrea! I just wish the couch for the Murphy bed was comfortable but its because of it being a Murphy bed. My likes are the sane as yours Matt and Andrea and the same for the dislikes. I love the storage and all that. Love the bathroom but not shower curtain. It’s still great for 25 feet. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
I've come to realize how good Matt videos are compared to most, to the point without too much rambling. Great team husban and wife. I like this RV I have a 2019 Bounder 35K and looking for something smaller. It's just my wife and I so we don't need all that space. Saving this vid for further reference, looking to purchase within a month. I know this is a yr old but I still love it.
i agree a natalus shower door is the best and they had room to make it larger.. also yes they needto make it an option if you want a overhead microwave and stove.. i prefer that over those convection microwaves...
WOW! A small RV that has inside storage to handle all my gear! Questions: 1) can u swap out that horrid sofa/ Murphy bed? 2) Can u get a sky light above the drop down bed, preferably one that opens? 3) Is it a dually? The wheels looked like it, but Matt didn't mention it. 4) Andrea, can u please have Matt address the insulation packed for us extreme winter & summer nuts. Dislikes 1) Murphy bed 2) Solar??? 3) Don't like gas cooktop or microwaves, prefer compressor fridge Likes 1) Storage! Finally a rig that can handle my backpacks without having to break them down. Heck I bet I could even fit 2 months worth, 60lbs, dog food inside 2) Love those drop down beds over the cab- my favorite place to sleep from Grandad's truck camper when I was tiny girl to ur motorhome growing up 3) E350 chassis! Upgrade to 4x, lift it, & slap some 35s on Ha!! Thanks once again Andrea & Matt bringing all the different options out there on my quest to find the perfect overland rig. U two get so excited w certain models.... Wish you'd start doing some of the truly "Boondocking" rigs, as Andrea calls it. Perhaps u 2 should go to one of the annual overland shows & get General RV to start selling to the ever growing population of adventures who bring a different light to RV camping
Hey Matt and Andrea, love the light interior of this coach. I agree with Matt's dislikes but they aren't deal breakers. I would love to see Andrea drive this one. If she can drive this and feel comfortable, so could I. I wanted a Class C but this one is so perfect for me and one more person. I love the drop down bed over the cab and all the storage!
Please also mention the transmission in your review units along with the engine. Also, do some highway driving on your reviews so you can tell us your driving impressions.
@@vikkibair1546 These comments and suggestions have fallen on deaf ears. I’ve brought this up in previous videos and no replies or actions. So sad to just ignore these questions and issues from us in the peanut gallery. Keep in mind, Those who make you can also break you. Stay tuned. 👀 🐔💩
I have seen the Unity Leisure Van that has a murphy bed that has a real nice mattress and has real nice recliners too. So it can be done but the Axis is trying to be cheap. Also the Murphy bed can be put down and still get around it to go to the back of coach. It doesn't have a slide out either.
This unit has a great floor plan. I can live with the Murphey bed and putting it up and down. I agree with Matt's change to the shower area. It would improve the bathroom. Matt is correct about a microwave and an oven, but I think that it also needs a three burner cooktop. This RV has a lot of storage and it makes a nice one person or couples RV. I retire in a few years and I could full time live in this one.
That looks like a really nice coach for a couple to cruise around in. Not what I'm looking for, but I can't deny, a couple could have a lot of fun in that thing, cruising around the country and into Canada, once the boarders open back up.
Please consider doing a review on "Winnebago Solis Pocket". If you do, please ask Winnebago if they will bring Adaptive Cruise Control/Blind Spot Monitor/Lane Departure warning to future iterations of pocket. Thank you for your great work!
i to love Thor , we just purchased a freedom elite 22 HE class C and just went on our 1st trip !!! loved the unit and 7.3 L ford v8 this units was our very first motor home!!
With the copious amount of storage this needs the E450 for more OCCC. Would also forego the storage under the dinette benches for loose chairs to go more upscale Class A and provide more aisle space with slide in.
Love the small size for easier driving, the storage space, and the bathroom (except shower curtain). Hate the murphy bed, the small microwave and the shower curtain.
I can't believe I disagree with you Matt. I love that they didn't waste space space on the oven. Those ovens never seem to work well and I can bring a portable if I want. That's it. Love your videos.
Nice video Matt and Andrea! I love this layout, but, as someone mentioned the murphy bed is not accessible when the slide is in and that's not good. Nothing to dislike aside from that.
The Murphy bed gives you more storage and a bigger bathroom trade off. You will be spending a lot of time sitting on that coach so it Must be of good quality. The mattress put a My Pillow top on it on sale now!
For a solo traveler, I’d just use the front seats with table for dining. I’d take out the dinette, skip the slide, and go for a lay-flat, comfy reclining loveseat to sleep on. Any extra space could be used for more counter in the kitchen.
My biggest problem is that it needs a glass shower door...maybe a tri-fold. A regular oven setup and microwave above would be better since it has lots of beautiful useful cabinetry...that being said, I really love the tons of shelved cabinets and clothing storage with drawers. The bathroom is excellent besides the shower curtain. Really nice to have counter space ( the more the better). However I'm not crazy about a round sink but if it gives more counter space I can live with it. Love the swivel front seats with small table option. Very unique floorplan...better than alot that I've seen in a small RV. Actually a very cute RV and functional. I'd love to have this! I love the smaller size Class A's/C's. 👍👍👍👍👍😁
I love this floor plan, but I have also seen this in the Thor Compass or Gemini 23TE without the dinette. I would like to see a review done on one these because I would prefer a class c. This is perfect for a couple or single person. Please do a a review on Thor 23TE. I do love your videos and how you make them so enjoyable.
Love this floorplan but totally agree about the bath and kitchen layout. They have enough cabinet space that they could even have a coffee maker cabinet.
I like this floor plan, that’s a 12v refrigerator.. love the bathroom accept the shower 🚿.. don’t like cooktop.. that bed looks a back breaker.. everything else is cool
We installed a Nautilus Retractable Shower door by Stoett ourselves in our Axis 25.1 that has the same dimensions shower. We love it and it is so much better than a shower curtain. It was very easy to install.
I love everything about this MH with the exception of the shower curtain. I love the fact the bathroom is large enough you don't feel too cramp. Oh one last thing, it would have been nice if it was slam latches versus the twisty for the outside storage areas.
I like that everything is functional with the slide closed...that being said...I can sleep on the sofa, open the fridge and use the bathroom. Heck this would be great for my family (of 5 ) road trip from NY state to Disney world.., the size my girlfriend would be comfortable taking driving shifts with me, we would only have to stop for gas. The shower curtain I don't like...other than that....that's the only negative I can think of..... And I'm normally the real picky one on these reviews LOL Totally agree with the bigger shower
Since I like my bed out all the time and not put away, I rather have a headboard behind the bed instead of the windows to sit up and watch tv at night. I like it though!
Not too sure about the roof. It looked as if there was a seam that could eventually leak. Also wondering if this motor home would have solar capabilities, and a possible lift kit for rougher roads. Other than that, I think that the layout is awesome!
Shower needed that rod that extends out to give u more room. Love the storage, love desk at passenger seat area, love 500lb bed overhead. Don’t like bed so close to overhead bed. Not sure ladder can be down.
Thank you for the the my waggle plug. I have seen so many videos on van life with their pets ,but they hardly ever talk about keeping the pets comfortable.
love the colors, but hate the cabinet handles. I'm always bumping into things like that and getting bruises all over my legs. I don't like the placement of the murphy bed. One of the things I like about the Navion 24D is that it has the murphy bed in back. Plus the bathroom shower in the Navion is bigger. I do however like the idea of having the class A front end. I'm not sure about the small dinette. We travel so much with our grandkids. I would be nice to sit with them in a bigger dinette.
I love you and your wife's videos!!! Since RV shows have been cancelled in my area due to COVID, your videos are the next best thing. Thank you so much for the walk throughs and commentary. You two are amazing!!!
Hi Matt, I love your review on the living features of the rv. Fantastic job on that. Would you consider expanding your review on the chassis and mechanical. Such as locations of the dip stick, antifreeze, oil adding location, air filter, etc. From others review of owners they have shown that there are so many shortcut such as no wheel well thus all road debris get kick up to the front lights and damage it. Or to change the battery your have to unscrew the front passenger desk tray. And they should have metal pull lock latches on all cabinets, so it would provide some protection to occupants in an accident from flying objects.
👍 furry babies... L: height and one level floor front to back, cabinetry; kitchen space, storage, appliances (agree with the amount of storage could’ve swapped out one over cabinet for MW and add oven); cockpit and chassis. D: exposed water ports, really couldn’t stick into oversized ext shower?; did you try to lower the bed when slide-in?; shower curtain (maybe the size) but flooding your home would suck. Please stay safe. 😷😷😷😷
Roll up shower curtain is a must. Change the couch cushions to more comfortable foam and the bed to thermal foam. The RUV’S and class A’s need modern safty features like the class c’s and B’s. Lane keeping, front and side air bags, smart cruse control, auto headlights the list could go on. Auto leveling. Come on Thor step it up.
Shower needs a better option instead of a curtain. Would rather have the convection oven over the stove. More comfortable couch/ Murphy bed. Otherwise, this RV floor plan is just awesome!
its true there is something going on with the awnings...been trying to get an answer from Thor for a while..most are armless, the new brochure for the 22 is showing armless but the new Thor 22 video is with an Arm...go figure...seen the same model/year with both awnings ...
100% agree with Andrea on opinions on this. I loved this Floorplan and would feel at ease driving it. Microwave is too low. Lots of good counter space. Would like a washer dryer combo. I would just buy a mattress topper and throw it on a night for cushion. Murphy bed works for me for the couple of seconds it takes it pull it down.. Love overhead bunk. Shower curtain has to go.
If you can still get around the bed with the slides in it would be perfect. Heck, I wouldn't even mind sliding over it when parked. But it really didn't take long to pull down or put back up. I'm glad they didn't motorize the murphy bed.
Awesome Class A. Great floor plan design, great storage and great colors. Dislikes are the CCC. At 1300 lbs that will be used up quick. With all that storage you’re really gonna have to watch how much you take with you. That shower could be bigger and better. The mattress and the sofa doesn’t look very comfortable. Might be a good thing if they consulted with Leisure Travel Van on the Murphy bed and Sofia. Their bed and sofa is very comfortable and it’s only 25 ft.
Another great video. Thanks! This looks like this would work well for a couple or a couple with 2 kids. It would be nice if Thor made the booth dinette convertible to a single bed too. The cup holders on the dinette table top need to be toward the center of the top instead at the front edge of the table.
Loving this option for a smaller motor home for taller people who want to GO! A couple of thoughts: if this accommodates taller people, why put the microwave/convection oven down low??? Missing Will for the tall test in the shower... but agree that the shower curtain is a definite no-no, especially next to an electrical control panel.
I like the length of the RV, the indoor storage and counter space and the generous seating in the front cab. Murphy bed wouldn't work for us, wife goes to bed early, then there is no couch to lounge on for the night owl. Small exterior storage compartments, not much room for outdoor chairs, spare tire and other large items.
The part I’ll dislike the most is that you cannot open the murphy bed without opening the slide. It appears that you have to have the slide open to put the bed down and that would not be good for stopping at a rest area or Walmart.
Hi Matt and Andrea! 👋🏻. I actually like this rig. As Andrea said, it is really cute. Pros…. Easy to drive, use of the bunk if you are unable to put slides out. Good size bathroom. Camping inside a National park is always a plus! I could definitely see my hubby and me in one of these. We always roll-up a 3-inch foam topper when we travel. So, the Murphy bed will be fine for us! Love 💕 your blouse, Andrea!!! Your shirt is darling, too, Matt! 😀
Agree with your likes and dislikes. Bed is no problem. If it's just two people get a memory foam mattress topper, slide it into one of those bed sack sheet sets. And store it it they drop down bunk. At night open the bed pull the topper out (already made) plop it on to the bed add a blank and pillows... 😴😴😴😴😴😴 Chief & Dee
I love the cabinets and the amount of storage space. I love the front area. The passenger seat would be the best workspace, art space Need this without the slide and just a simple pull out bed. It needs the oven and the microwave and a larger carrying capacity with that much storage space.
I really want to love this RV. I LOVE the size but the couch situation is a deal breaker. I would much rather have a second couch that is comphy vrs the tiny dinette, we already have the di-no-fa with the pedestal table. Give me a nice couch or recliner
You can tell that’s his geniune personality and not phony. I watched lots of his videos and I would buy a rv from him.
Well the, we do have a problem.
I really like these small class C/A's Why doesnt anyone else make RV's like this?
They have to figure out a way to make those Murphy bed couches actually comfortable and useable.
If you haven't already, check out Matt's Towables review of the Geopro. If you're interested in towables, that unit has an incredibly comfy murphy bed.
It's not that hard, thicker cushions. I think they do this on purpose so their higher end models look more tempting.
I’m hoping those two circular holes for “pedestal tables” add support for the bed when it’s down. Would’ve been nice to see them installed
There is probably no support from the pedestal table mounts since there is no mounts on the drop down. But he climbed on it no problem.
You can buy a replaceable tv Murphy mattress.
In case you wonder if Matt actually responds to requests/emails . . . Oh my gosh!! I emailed him about this unit also 🤣
I’m not even in the market for a motorhome. I just really enjoy watching this guy! He’s AWESOME!!!
AGREE!!!! the best ever... first time watching him, he's so upbeat and just darling
I liked that the cabinets are the same height. In smaller units especially, that is so important visually.

Today's RV is nice, but you can't beat an RV with features you can use without having to activate a slide or flip down a bed.
This is the best floorplan I have seen in a short rv. The murphy bed
I have one major thing I hate is that you can not use the murphy bed when the slide are in .
But, you can use the overhead bunk! 😝
@@jolenecreech7648 yea but it’s not good when your driving because sometimes is breaks and falls on the driver
It's like a studio apartment. Wish you could access bed when slides are in.
Nice small 2 person RV. As a taller person this might be better than a Class C for me. I like this floor plan, that’s a 12v refrigerator.. love the bathroom accept the shower 🚿.. don’t like cooktop.. that bed looks a back breaker.. everything else is cool
LOVE LOVE LOVE 💖. If only they would replace the shower curtain.... I hate that !
And I'm normally the real picky one on these reviews LOL
Totally agree with the bigger shower
I'm with you Matt I don't like having to drop down the bed.
I do like the small table.
Thank you for the the my waggle plug. I have seen so many videos on van life with their pets ,but they hardly ever talk about keeping the pets comfortable.
I love the front windshield cover.
Make sure your car insurance covers windshield damage. You want to pay $500 to replace, not $5000. They're beautiful but they're also rock magnets.
love the colors, but hate the cabinet handles.
I love the floor plan. I love the kitchen storage. And I love the fold up Murphy bed. Not a fan of the shower size and the curtain
Love this motor home ! It cost more than my house 🏡 unbelievable ! I have a very nice house 🏠
I like the color choices for the interior, the bright monotone makes it seem bigger.
Cool floor plan, like the Gemini but sad they aren't putting outdoor tvs on these RUVs anymore. I prefer the microwave up not down.
Thought id hate that there was no window behind the sofa but after seeing the murphy its the most perfect starter rv ive ever seen!
I would full-time in this! I love it!
If it had more basement storage it would be perfect for fulltiming...
...but you can't really boondock without 50amp/55k Onan.
Fuggin Brilliant design! I’ve always loved the Vegas/axis but the Murphy bed is a game changer!
If you can still get around the bed with the slides in it would be perfect.
Heck, I wouldn't even mind sliding over it when parked. But it really didn't take long to pull down or put back up. I'm glad they didn't motorize the murphy bed.
@@celestepalm6949 it’s the fastest bed set up that I’ve seen so far!
The storage!!!!! Awesomeness!
Love these two! Always spot on and upbeat.
One of my favorite RVs. If we weren't building our overlander box van and just traveling around this is the way to go.
Another great video. Thanks!
This looks like this would work well for a couple or a couple with 2 kids. It would be nice if Thor made the booth dinette convertible to a single bed too. The cup holders on the dinette table top need to be toward the center of the top instead at the front edge of the table.
As usual great reviews I’ve always wanted to see the details on that motorhome we see them running up and down the road like crazy. Thomyt
I ❤️❤️❤️ this Motor Home!! Y’all are awesome. Great review
Having a Murphy bed makes that rv and the space it has inside, so big!! Love it!
But, I agree with Matt about the bathroom.
Change Murphy bed into jackknife bed!!! That way you also keep the window!

I love the cabinets and the amount of storage space. I love the front area. The passenger seat would be the best workspace, art space
Need this without the slide and just a simple pull out bed. It needs the oven and the microwave and a larger carrying capacity with that much storage space.
Love my 24.1 Vegas. Soooo easy to drive. Like a big van. I’m only 5’4.
To make couch more comfortable maybe buy a piece of memory/foam to sit on. Then store it in cab bed when not needed.
I really want to love this RV. I LOVE the size but the couch situation is a deal breaker. I would much rather have a second couch that is comphy vrs the tiny dinette, we already have the di-no-fa with the pedestal table. Give me a nice couch or recliner
Should have put shelves/cup holders with computer/laptop connectors on each side of bed.
