- Hey Everyone welcome back to another video! Today I am super excited were looking at the smallest class a rv in the world! This is the 2020 Thor Axis 24.1 which is the same thing as the 2020 Thor Vegas 24.1. These are the Smallest Class A Gas Motorhomes you can buy.
Now Technically there not Class A's... but there not Class C's either. They are cross over motorhomes kinda like a SUV for RVs.. So the Chassis is a E450 Chassis which is a class C Chassis... But they designed it to drive like a Class A. So yea that is what it is :)
ANd to make it better this is the #1 selling floorplan in the Vegas / Axis. Its 24ft long and it has 2 beds in the back that fill in to make a king bed.

I came across this by accident imbedded in an article. You do a tremendous job with your reviews. I bought a Thor class C a couple years ago and the salespeople were not anywhere near as knowledgeable or helpful through the entire process as you were in this video. Very well done sir.

I love most of this one, I love the colours used on the interior and how modern it looks. I love all the storage, inside and out. I think it's great for the size it is. I agree with you about the bumper and the stove.

I would have liked to have seen all the actual sleeping areas how they look, sofa and drop down bunk.
I would love to see the drop down bunk and also what the sofa looks like when it's in a sleep setup.

I like the shorter length with the class A view up front, I like the bathroom, and I love the floor plan. I don't like the limited storage.

I just saw this one last night. This is my favorite of all the RV's I've seen so far. The cab is amazing and the living areas are well appointed. It's different than most and that makes it stand out in the crowd
Love the bedroom the most!! Definitely don’t like the shower but would be thankful I had a warm shower!
One of the best videos describing and showing the buying public what actually comes with/in these RV's, including such details as fuel tank capacity, and price. We are in the research phase of our buying adventure and your videos have really helped! Instead of putting the glass top over the stove, they should have put a cutting board as your lid. Our last one had it, and it worked great. Dual uses and you don't have to worry about breaking it.

Matt like the walk thru, where are you located? I think you may have said it in the beginning but you're going at 100mph and I'm listening at 35mph so I didn't hear it if it was said.
I did not like the mirror looked cheap, also if there is a bed above the drivers and passengers compartment I would have liked to have seen a flatscreen that could fold up to the ceiling and slide to the front of the vehicle, then, when the bed goes up it will protect it. This will allow for a larger television. As far as the glass top on the 2 burners why can't they put slow closing hinge on it similar to what they do whit the self closing drawers in kitchens. Reccomend to the manufacturer for a replacement bumper or see if a rear bumper from another vehicle will fit as a replacement so it can store the hose.

So I just watched this video, and I thought, Matt and Andrea must be really tired, missing their punch lines and not the best video camera.
Then I saw that it's a year old.
You guys have improved so much, no wonder you are such a success.
Love this motorhome, it is smaller but has some of the features of the big class A’s. Like the twin beds that can be converted. Kitchen is nice with sufficient cabinets. Don’t like the shower, but could deal with it. Great price point! If I were to hit the lottery I would buy it.
Finally someone honest in Rv sales great reviews and thank you for giving out the best price.. Keep up the good work you two make a great team...

I would like to have the Euro caravans 4 cylinder turbodiesels as well. Sadly with fuel being so much cheaper in the USA, bringing over a smaller model with good fuel economy won't really sell, because the unit itself won't cost less than larger USA gas guzzlers. The closest you'll get here is something based on the Sprinter chassis with the MB 6 cylinder diesel.

Thanks Matt! I enjoyed your tour of the Axis. We're retired and looking to purchase a small motorhome since I may be doing a lot of the driving. It's great you share what you don't like because we wouldn't know what exactly to look for since this will be our first purchase. We have friends who own motorhomes, but everyone has their nuances. You make it easy to continue looking and listening, some folks are quite boring. What I don't like about the Axis is TV above door, No steps to get in, Microwave too low, Stove too small and shower. What I do like are the swivel seats, full surround visual cab, Porcelin toilet, access to living area with or w/o slide out and bedroom option of twins or king. We're in California so don't think we'll be able to visit your site unless you have an unbelievable price. Love to see you jump!

Hey Matt . . . 3 things I love about the motorhome. 1) the Cab/Cockpit. 2) the fact that you can have the slide~out in and still move around. 3) no slide~out for the bedroom.
3 things I don't like about the motorhome. 1) the very small micro/convection oven. 2) the shower area. 3) can't use the back bumper for the black water hose.
Excellent I really loved the inside of the RV .The next thing that I really loved about it was the bed. The third thing that I really loved was the storage space.

I like it's look. I like the awning that has a wind sensor, and love the bedroom! The shower is not so bad and it is better than only outside or none at all. The glass cover on the stovetop is just stupid. Make it to match the counters and it won't break. I agree why not a bumper to store the dump hose? -love the bunk over the cab. holding 500lbs is impressive
-love the space when the slide-outs are in
-love it being a crossover, such a great idea

-the legroom for the drivers seat doesnt look great
-i think the ladder at the back should have another step. not everyone can make a step that high
-it completely sucks that this isnt in Quebec, Canada lol.

Love all the integrated cameras, Love kitchen area, LOVE functionality with slide in. Like dual option bed. We keep slightly different sleep cycles, so that helps. Porcelain toilet bowl is easier to keep clean.
Dislike shower but at least it has a curtain and not a breakable partition. I imagine the shower will necessitate wiping up the floor almost every time and could lead to underfloor water damage. Are there any/many nighttime exterior lights for better visibility? I would add reflective tape all around anyway, but I didn’t notice if the front turn signals can be easily seen from the side at night. The glass cover on the burners is good news/bad news. I can see glass for fire hazards and because it’s easier to clean, and it’s hooked in to help avoid losing it. Perhaps a fitted cover with edges could be stored when using burners and put back in place for travel.
What prevents the burners from being on and someone closing the glass cover?
My husband and I are getting ready to retire and we are looking to purchase a recreational vehicle. I really appreciate your Videos I feel they will help us make a good decision.

Hooray for a king-sized bed! I miss that. Love my current motor home and we have been across the country 3 times in it but gee the smallish queen just is crowded with long tall hubby and plus-sized me.
I like the size, sleek appearance and apparent quality. Price is hefty.

My favorite so far - a great hybrid class A-C. I agree on the tiny shower. They might have squeezed out more room by making a fold down sink. And I don't like the skinny entry door. Maybe those are common and I'm just spoiled by my van's slider. I also don't like the exterior striping detail, but I may be alone on that. To me, it always looks dated. Love the bed, the driver visibility, the little fold down passenger table, overall storage and more. Great vid, Matt and Andrea!

I love this motorhome. I would have liked to have seen how the bed goes together to become a queen. I love the cabin area in the front, too. I do think the television outside is a waste. Great job, Matt. Love your sense of humor.

Awesome coverage - kept it moving, camera angles provided great shots to appreciate guidance provided, Matt covered every feature and primary specs. Likes: swivel recliners, full size fridge w/sep freezer, bed design - and price :0). Dislikes: swing counter blocks doorway, undersized microwave, no way to mitigate sun pounding on that big glass as you drive. Great job, Matt and Andrea!!
I love this layout. Kids in the back, adults in the front. That way when the kids go to sleep, you can have the entire front of the RV and access to the outside

OUTSTANDING commentary on every detail of the Axis!! Informative as well as entertaining.
Like: 1) like a guy who is confident enough to climb on the roof while being filmed; 2) love white/light gloss cabinets and light interior fabrics; 3) like whole interior access with slide in; 4) the tv over the door is pretty ingenious, out of the way and not inside the overcab bunk (which was where?); 5) how does that king bed extension stay up at bed level? 6) great idea from you how and why the bumper should be improved.
Don't like: 1) i find a split kitchen sink more useful; 2) how long does it take to get used to having a down-low microwave? 3) need some backsplash tiles to right of cooktop for splatters; 4) wish you showed whether the outside storage doors that open upward have a latch to keep them open; 5) TP holder was too close to the knee for a tall person [please tell Thor to start using the modern single-post TP holders so we don't have to fool with the spring loaded rods that go in the middle and fall out if the installation width is a bit off, or hit by your knee].

I liked the panoramic view of the front cab, loved the king sized bed, and it’s not too big...not too small RV. Just right. Wish I could see the top area for sleeping of more people. The price was amazing...Thanks for this video...

It's a nice RV for a single person or couple. I love the visibility you have when driving it. I also like that the living area is usable. The one thing I do not like is the counter top extension blocks the door when up.

I really enjoy the attitude, the information, the pricing information. Wish you were closer to Ohio. I have a bath and a half 2012 Sunstar and love the full 36” shower. It is a rolling 2 bed, 2 bath condominium.
Things I don’t like.
Agree with making rear bumper “usable as storage”
Did not hear much about the batterie(s). Nor the solar charging system components.
Did not hear about the “ride”. Does it shimmy and shake, is there a leveling system, mileage, easy engine access, an option for another slide out for the bedroom?

We are first time RV buyers, trying to figure out what RV to buy and after months of research and your help (my husband and I have watched countless videos of yours) we think this Thor Vegas/Axis 24.1 is going to be our choice and we will be buying from one of the General RV stores in Michigan! All thanks to you! Somehow, your videos show us just what we want to see and know about each rig, like you read our minds. You and Andrea do a terrific job and we thank you for helping us come to our decision. You give us prices too and no one else does that! Keep up the good work, you both do a great job. Disregard the nasty comments. Small minded people hide behind keyboards and make unkind comments because they can. They deserve pity, but they do not deserve to be listened to.
