2024 GT will have the new Lithium Iron Phosphate extended life battery.
This is the first time in almost 60 years that I really like Mustang styling
I have the 2022 Mock-E GT Performance and absolutely love it. This car handles the corners with ease. The convenience of having a full tank of gas "Battery" every morning is something I didn't think about. My truck and motorcycle require a trip to the gas station. My Mock-E charges at my home overnight and automatically shuts off when complete. There are so many reasons to love the Mock-E. If you ever get a chance, take the GT Performance out on some curvy back roads, and you'll see what makes the GT better than the standard Mock-E's.
“I don’t like the weird door handles and what’s up with this huge center screen?”
I have the 22’ California Route 1 Mach-E and I’m thankful that the door is super unique.. everyone on the the road has regular door handles like everyone else. I love being unique in my selection of vehicles and having a button that I push DEFINITELY sets me apart from everyone else in the parking lot. And like he stated in the video, the car is very minimalistic. No buttons or knobs to control all the features, so just like a Tesla, the screen controls everything. Plus as someone who’s eyes are naturally weak, the big screen is perfect for seeing the Navigation directions.
the door handles are a lot more user friendly than tesla although I would prefer regular door handles. I also prefer regular buttons over a touch screen. I think you can have a good size screen with buttons.
Its called high tech. What, you still have door handles on your car? U still have analog gauges? Sad...
5 second of full power not good
They do this is to protect the battery because there is not enough cooling for the batteries to keep them from being damaged over the long run by prolonged bursts of acceleration. I believe I have a way of semi-defeating this (take your foot off the pedal then quickly mash it again, got me up to 110 pretty quick) but it will not matter as the 2025 models should be different/better.
You don't need more than 5 seconds. I've yet to hit the barrier. I go to pass on the highway and its at 180km per hour in a heartbeat. 0 to 130-140kms per hour in about 5 seconds? I guess if you're trying to race quarter miles or something?
