      Appreciate the info on your suspension. Sounds like #14 is a good place to start. Can I ask, are you on 19” or 20”?

    I am here watching this, with a confirmed delivery of my new V60 T6 Recharge Inscription (New drivetrain with sensus) in Crystal White this Thursday. But boy, I enjoy this video. Never test drived the new drive train, and I caaant wait for the delivery.
    Have not seen the Hybrid mode video yet (if it is uploaded as of writing this), but I guess you will use the navigation to gain the maximum out of the Hybrid mode. Edit: You explained the adventage of it one minute in. Great stuff! 👍
    Thanks for a great video!

    Again another brilliant vid I have enjoyed and appreciated. Thank you. Bonus for you to pass near my house. Was this vid on a softer suspension setting than the hybrid one? I noticed the wheel and dash looking a little nervous on that one and this looks more settled and less harsh. If so appreciate ‘number’ you had each on.

      Thanks Jon.
      Suspension is on a soft setting, 18 and 20. Good eye spotting the vibrations, the camera was on a flexible arm in both videos but I secured it with a second sucker in the PURE video, no difference in suspension setting.

    Would you prefer having the standard suspension instead of the Öhlins chassis?

    • @MrBenjaminHDM
      @MrBenjaminHDM  2 года назад

      I prefer Öhlins to the R Design Suspension on an XC40. You can really appreciate the quality. But the rear air suspension and adaptive dampers on my V90 provided a whole other level of softness.
      Don't compromise though, the quality really shines through and makes you smile with Öhlins. If you want comfort get an inscription or something bigger with air suspension.

      I've just remembered Recharge cars have a different suspension setup to both R Design and Inscription cars, I've never driven another Recharge so I'm hesitant to comment further.

      Having just Traded in my 2020 fully loaded Xc60 T8 Inscription. For a New 2022-Late Xc60 Extended Range - Polestar Engineered (5- weeks old now) I can tell You the first 2-weeks with them Ohlins Dampeners was a bit EX-Firm. I initially went in to trade up to the new Bigger Battery, & was looking for a R-design. But a Polestar Engineered Just came off the truck. And they told me it was just a bit more flashy R-design. Anyway I Liked the look of the Rims vs the other volvo rims & Pulled the trigger on the Trade. 2 weeks later, After learning i could change my ride firmness. I popped back by dealer & they Showed me How & showing me in the manual how to change Settings. THE Dampeners came from Factory on setting #2 all around! Ex-Firm. After playing with #'s I settled on #14 & that seem to be My sweet spot for now, a Much more smoother ride than setting #2. Im gonna keep with #14 for awhile. My PE Xc60's Ohlins Dampeners Range settings are #1 - 22 (1 firmest - 22 softest) Dealer recommended to Not go above #20. Luv the Car, Stops on a dime & really Corners. & I want to say Thank You to MrBenjaminHDM, He really does a Great job Breaking it all down to everyone. Including little things. I learned more from his videos about my own car. 😃👍

    These are great videos you are making. Thank you.
    I am looking to buy a Volvo XC60 with this more powerful electric motor. I've driven the old 87hp motor and it was not enough for that vehicle.
    I'm interested in how the powertrain behaves in unexpected/unplanned situations. You mentioned that full power is not available when the petrol engine is called upon from Pure mode. It would be interesting to compare acceleration of pure electric vs electric+cold motor vs electric+warm motor.
