I live in Australia - hold Tesla in my Superannuation fund plus a few left on the eToro platform that I had used before the super fund allowed me to buy TSLA. The super fund platform (Hub24) didn't allow voting, though after I badgered them a lot said they would consider as an option in the future. eToro did claim to support voting, so I asked them to allow me to vote. Eventually they got back to me with instructions for voting about an hour before voting closed, and the process worked fine. Pity there were only 20 shares left in eToro, but it sure felt good!
I am already at retirement age and have been retired for four years now. I have other funds that I can live on while my Tesla holdings countinue to grow with the value of the company. If nothing else I'll have a really nice room at the nursing home. 😃
I got all my non voting friends and my son my sister myself and reached almost 5950 votes at the end, I voted and I voted and double ck my votes. I usually don't vote but I did it when it counted

Brian you should go to china and try all the cars that are said to be autonomous and maybe also visit Tesla Gigafactory in Shanghai and also the new Megafactory and while there make some connection you can then use once you are back in the USA, but be careful.
Alexandra and I have the same approach to working to earn income so we can hold our TSLA shares for a longer time, at least 5 more years or even 10. We’re a similar “near retirement” age but can’t justify retiring when the 10x or more growth story hasn’t happened yet. When to ever sell? I try to imagine why I would sell and I can’t come up with a reason given the very real growth potential of all of Tesla’s primary businesses. Tesla may not be the 1st company to surpass $5T but they will likely be the 1st to surpass $10T and the only company to surpass $25T in the next decade. Those who can afford to buy and hold with some amount of their net worth in Tesla stock will be happy they reigned in their spending for a few years to allow the multiplier to take effect in a more substantial way.
I can't imagine Elon allowing dividends unless there is no possible way to spend the money coming in and it's piling up at an insane rate. Bots are ramped at least a decent amount if not fully by this point. Then and only then do I see him green lighting dividends. And at that point, I think the money will be coming in so fast, the dividends will be massive.

Kind of ironic that repealing the Chevron deference gives activist judges more leeway in interpreting laws that effect corporations like Tesla, while it was an activist judge that made the judgement against Elon's pay package. Apples to oranges, but still ironic. I'm holding my shares for probably 10 more years, then I'll decide.
Impossible to know. Tesla is a visible percentage of their sales,, so on the face you'd say low single digit percentage, BUT without those orders, the backlog would be shorter, and likely the prices lower too. During the week of spring break, traffic feels like a breeze. Feels like half as many cars in the commute, but it's only a reduction of 5-10%. Tesla's orders may be that small percentage that makes all the other orders worth more.
Amazing! I'm of the belief that institutional investors would have made the same mistake with automobiles replacing horses in the first part of last century. I'm sure that they would not have seen a path forward to monetization there either. Unfortunately institutional investor management is of a certain breed...... namely UNIMAGINATIVE. If it's not on the balance sheet now then it doesn't exist. Blind to even the blatant evidence that a company is working diligently toward a goal that addresses huge markets. What is absolutely hypocritical of them is that most are not atheists. 😉
I own shares in Tesla and am a citizen of the USA living in Central America. I do not own a Tesla. For me, the car is not the star. The real star that I invest in is Elon. Stock in Tesla is the only way to invest with Elon. I am investing in a great man, not just a great car. Tesla is the man. When and if he opens other companies, I will invest in them as well. He has people who are better at second-guessing him than some investors, but I think he welcomes all of our opinions.
Or just invite her to the headquarters for a guided tour so she can most fully understand the tricky parts. Wall Street analysts and fund managers already got that. This wouldn't even be special treatment, but catching up.
perhaps Tesla should give notice that they'll end sales of products & services in Delaware as proof that they've exited the State. let Delawareans know if they wish to be future customers they need to somehow have that horrible judge removed: quid pro quo.

@@FutureAZA Maybe you should start to flinch... 4 yrs of the stock being stuck - much of it in the heavy lows ($). Despite all the recent positives since the Q1 earnings, stock is still 40% below it's high. Not very encouraging
