when i enable the microphone, i lose sound on any other application than what im currently at, for example if im at discord, il have no sound on spotify/games etc

I am trying to Connect my AirPods Max microphone for so long. But 1 option is “AirPods Max stereo” and the other one is “AirPods Max hands-free audio” I can select both on input but in output only the hands free one. The thing is if I select the Max stereo I have good sound but the mic is not working. if I choose the hands free one the sounds is really bad but the microphone is working I think. Idk what it is.

Make sure the Bluetooth is off on the other devices they connect with such as iPhone, iPad, ETC. They won't connect sometimes if they are still connected to another device:/

I have the same exact problem! Sometimes it works by restarting or repairing the headphones with the computer, but now always. Really annoying! I often end up using my webcams microphone instead since I don't have the time to restart/repair when going into a remote meeting.
