Population of MUMBAI can be controlled or even reduced by shifting several offices / manufacturing units out of the city. The best example is of parle co. The western railway HQ office at churchgate can be shifted to Valsad where the railways hold the largest land in the whole western zone.
Political will is wanted to save mumbai from sinking.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Relocating offices and industries could indeed help manage Mumbai’s population density. The idea of shifting the Western Railway HQ to Valsad is an interesting one. However, such moves require significant political will and infrastructure planning.
What other solutions do you think could help decongest Mumbai? Let us know in the comments, we will cover it in the upcoming videos!
