In 2020, after the January 6th INSURRECTION in Washington, DC we decided to leave America to explore the world… Our first settling place is GHANA! Why Ghana? It’s safe, friendly, fun, hot, on the water and GHANA IS THE WELCOMING DOOR OF RETURN FOR DESCENDANTS OF ENSLAVED AFRICANS IN AMERICA.
We (Black Americans) have a deep history with the land between the borders of Ghana and in 2019 a floodgate was opened, The Year of Return. After several visits the 3 of us felt this was the place to start our new international LIFESTYLE.
You will meet Bill (AKA - Wood), Marissa and Adrienne who together developed a Unisex Spa bringing an American barbershop franchise and a Medispa to Medina, Accra.
Our journey has been eventful but TOTALLY worth the feeling of Freedom and Joy of living and learning Ghana.
We have been here for a little over a year and in business for 8 months. We are settled and have recently joined the oldest and largest African American Association in Africa, The African American Association of Ghana is full of Black Americans that live here in Ghana. We are excited to be members of this organization and we are giving them and the world a special introduction to our businesses here in Ghana!
