Our journey to become Ghanaian-American dual citizens in Ghana 🇬🇭 11/19/2024 - Chapter 1
This story will start at the citizenship and tell the story backwards, 3 American professionals ventured to start something new on the other side of the water. We will begin to tell our story retrospectively, remembering the learned lessons, challenges, and always good times along the way. We will share our journey, our community, our friends and family we have gained by moving to Ghana.
We hope you enjoy our launch of plenty more to come. This is also a welcome video for our newly launched inaugural "Mecca to The Motherland; HBCU gets Detty" trip and week line for the HOWARD UNIVERSITY, HBCU & D-9 community.

Now that we knew where our formerly enslaved ancestor was from in West Africa, the next step for ME was to SEE IT WITH MY OWN EYES. In 200...

WE DON’T OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE MUSIC PLAYED IN THIS VIDEO… In 2020, after the January 6th INSURRECTION in Washington, DC we decided to leave America to explore the world… Our first settling place is GHANA! Why Ghana? It’s safe, friendly, fun, hot, on the water and GHANA IS THE WELCOMING DOOR OF RETURN FOR DESCENDANTS OF ENSLAVED AFRICANS IN AMERICA. We (Black Americans) have a deep history with...

Oh Achoti so relieved we have someone of magnitude and from your generation that can speak to the Diaspora and link our Sovereignty Revolution mindsets with the Melanated Continent we are under Stockholm Syndrome hypnosis and white adjacency or hoodism so intensely when we do come up for air we are immediately submerged right back down to the depths of imperialistic slave mentality Shalom Achoti We Are The Diasporians

Worthy of note, the Dagomba, Dagaare, and Konkomba in northern Ghana; the Ewe in the Volta Region; and the Ga in the Greater Accra Region ethnic groups are all patrilineal.

As an african from Congo we do not need to tell our brothers and sisters from the diaspora this. Hearing her talk and watching I know she has very good qualities. And nit all of us Africans are respectful either.

Same Ashantis captured and sold more slaves than any european..... Ashantis never sold their own so this idea that most descendants of slaves are Ashantes is a lie.
