      I agree! An older neighbor lady is constantly complaining about her gentleman friend. When I tell her she doesn't have to tolerate it she says "that's easy for you to say, you have a family". Sometimes I'll gently tell her that her late daughter (with whom she lived before the daughter died) wouldn't want her being mistreated. Sometimes I tell her to dump the boyfriend and adopt more cats.

      @@margaretr5701 I think lack of empathy must definitely have a connection with lack of intelligence, cause these killers all have one thing in common: they act before they think. • @margaretr5701
      @margaretr5701 10 месяцев назад +5

      @@RedditaufDeutsch Yes, baffling.
      Regarding empathy, apparently it has to be taught and demonstrated, by the time a child is four years old.
      This requires attentive, tuned in parents, or caregivers.
      This was something I read a few times, now wondering if murderer's come to be, due to lack of being taught and shown, empathy. Considering many parents are dealing with other issues, with focus elsewhere, it's amazing we have as many functional people, as we do... There must be studies on this! People have been trying to understand killers for decades.... centuries.
      I remember a study done on infants in orphanages. Babies were well fed and cared for, but didn't thrive, and did poorly in every way. The human brain is complicated and needs more than simple survival skills.

Ironically, I also attended Texas A&M with Daniel and knew the mutual friend who introduced he and Stephanie. There are several factors about the case that were not mentioned and I would really enjoy speaking with you about those if you have time and hopefully adding more to your analysis. Thank you for doing this video. After almost a decade I still think about this case often.

      It probably doesn't help that for the past 30 years boys have been told that their male ambition contributes to the societal tyrannical patriarchy.

      As I entered my late 20s and early 30s people, women, tried to match me up with anything that was single. Some were awful in various ways. There are women who think being married is the only important thing, and you must do it at all costs. Some are the matchmakers, and some are the hopeful brides. I was hurt and insulted.

    "On the Importance of Little Red Riding Hood for Contemporary Women"- Stepanie Politte and the Big, Bad Wolf
    We know that Stephanie was involved in a community production of Little Red Riding Hood during her brief visit to planet Earth. We also know that Stephanie, while making her way to grandmother's house with cake and wine, was led to a man named Daniel Politte. The foreshadowing of gazing at flowers in the forest as she strayed off the true path, put her in danger of meeting the Big Bad Wolf. And, indeed, this is exactly what happened in the form of Daniel Politte. I think perhaps Stephanie knew her destiny included an encounter with a Big Bad Wolf, but at the time she didn't know it would be in the form of her husband, a real disappointment to her because of his lack of maturity. In addition to these comments, where is her grandmother? Is she still be digesting by the Big Bad Wolf? Or, for that matter, where is the huntsman-her hero? Stephanie missed these elements in her destiny and will need to return to Earth to complete the cycle until everything settles down.
