While not being a lawyer, I believe that in New York State we have a provision in the law called "depraved indifference" and very possibly Rose's failure to aid Adam after he fell down the stairs because she preferred that he die would constitute justification for conviction on some level of homicide. So even if one believes that she did not intentionally push him, she would be guilty on that basis. Probably other states have this provision, as well.

    • @evelynwaugh4053
      @evelynwaugh4053 4 месяца назад

Agree, but the problem with that is that there isn't much evidence of a crime when a body is decayed. More than a confession is needed to convict someone, there has to be corroborating evidence. This was essentially the problem with Caylee Anthony. Any time a defense attorney can introduce reasonable doubt, a jury may find it hard to convict. Unless it is proven that she sat by in depraved indifference, watching him die, it won't fly. There isn't likely to be video evidence of that, and many other scenarios are possible- not understanding the severity of the injuries, falling asleep, child being ill, not being home at the time, etc.

Pension plans are subject to division for long-term marriages, based on a percentage, which varies by state. Some states divide marital assets 50/50, (community property) while some divide them based on a fair or equitable division (equitable distribution). So if you were married a significant period, your ex could get a significant (30-50%) portion, but they wouldn't get it until you retired. So you could make other investments to increase your income in retirement during that time. Or you can negotiate during the dissolution, perhaps exchanging equity in the marital home for their portion of the pension.

Can you imagine living with your husband's rotting body in the basement... Then picking him up piece by piece to then burn those pieces??? How can people who do this deal with this horrific stuff??? I cannot even fathom how grotesque this all must have been.

Evaluating the Life of Rose Chase: Ethical Considerations with Notes of Cranberry, Guava, and Nutmeg
It's interesting that Rose entertained the prospect of being a veterinarian. This is something I have noticed with those who are not satisfied being a human being-an over identification with animals. It's not that animals aren't worth our time and attention. Lord knows, I own two cats. But as much as I love my cats I fully realize that they are not human beings. Now for my analysis.
Adam displayed typical signs of a male adolescent: an interest in games, play, and science fiction. These impulses at an early age are quite consistent with Piaget's developmental model of development. At some period of time it is normal for a mind to wonder how things could be different- like what would happen if the moon were a thousand miles closer to earth, or perhaps, five thousand miles closer to earth. Or, what would it be like to have two moons. Adam I'm quite sure Adam was involved in "mooning" unwary pedestrians too. Where then did Adam go off the rails? His developmental delay was a deep connection to video games. This has the tendency to isolate the male individual making him irrelevant to his partner.
In conclusion, it's time to bring this romance to an end. As Tristan faded from awareness, Adam was destined for a big fall. As Adam isolated himself he refused to become the man he was meant to be. Rose then closed the deal by ending his life. I can't actually say that Adam will be missed. I certainly will miss him, but I'm not sure anyone else will. Thank you.

The mother’s boyfriend has been convicted but the mother repeatedly reported the same story the boyfriend did during her disappearance. Some people feel the mother got away with hiding the truth before it came out

    I got a question ❓
    So
Answer Me this, if you're able.
    "Riddle Me this, Riddler!"
HOW COME THE POLICE ARE NOT HELD ACCOUNTABLE WHENEVER THERE IS AN OBVIOUS DERELICTION OF DUTY. WHENEVER IN FACT IT SEEMS THAT THEY JUST DIDN'T CARE THAT THERE WAS SOMEBODY ROTTEN DOWN THERE THEY JUST WANT TO BE AWAY FROM THE SMELL OF IT. AND THIS HAPPENS OVER AND OVER AND OVER BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE EMPLOYED AS POLICE OFFICERS ARE NEVER PUNISHED FOR DERELICTION OF DUTY. IS IT DERELICTION OR JUST OUTRIGHT THEY DIDN'T DO IT?
    WHY
ISN'T THAT HOW THAT WE REINFORCE A BAD PRECEDENT??
PS: I think Rose had had enough of that freeloader and whenever he started talking about her lovers who actually paid her attention, and taking her possessions that she had worked hard for, while he sat around neglecting their child, their home, his wife, playing video games and doinking to online porn.
Poor Rose had enough. She's like oh no you won't that's mine and my babies money not yours you just sat around here and neglect in the baby you didn't even take care of him, or me for that.matter.
I don't think you are going to take Jack nothing from nobody except this push down the stairs you freeloader.
**It seems like he picked her out in high school and he'd been riding that gravy train until the wheels fell off for him.
That's probably why she had so many affairs because he wasn't really into her. He was getting his free ride and playing his video games and meeting his sexual needs online.
    Addiction is ugly people

This is a textbook example of two people falling in love and getting married, but during the course of the marriage one of the spouses matures quicker than the other. This leaves an imbalance in the relationship and the more mature spouse seeks out potential mates that are more compatible.
