    I had no idea that the sport turismo existed, but I'm definitely a fan of it now.
    The review itself was, as usual with Sutcliffe, terrific. When it comes to EVs, too many channels seem fixated on highlighting the same 0-60, 1/4 mile, et al times. I certainly appreciated that he spoke about steering and road feel rather than harping over stats.

    • @HJCars
      @HJCars 3 года назад +4

      I agree but its more about the position in the market this fits in. If you are considering a new top end model s I personally would shell out the extra money for this. It is the real deal. If you are in Model 3 or Y land then this is a very expensive and unrealistic car to buy. Porsche ownership land is close to 100k or more for the serious models. Even Boxster models are now over priced i feel. By the time you have optioned this up it is likely a £130,000 car. That is not cheap at all.

      @@harrisr1018 indeed, but it is relative. To me Porsche is very affordable compared to Italian rivals and a lot more reliable. That Italian spirit and passion only goes so far compared to the Germanic obsession with detail, finish and engineering brilliance. Porsche is the real deal and if you are in the market for it then its a no brainer but not a cheap decision as you said.

    I love the idea "that everything is going to be OK" but what happens when speed restrictors start to percolate into our new cars next year? (I'm obviously thinking of private roads and tracks of course...) :(

      "but what happens when"
      Well, a lot of dead-enders will cry like babies. Every time there is a paradigm shift in the world, a lot of people who can't embrace change starts to bawl. It's natural and won't change a thing.

    Can anyone explain to me how they lower the power but successfully manage to make the car better to drive?

    Spot on comparison with the Panamera. Been driving for 25 years, and since driving and owning diffrent EVs since 2017, i feel alot of petrol cars are no longer relevante. Ev platforms engages me. Owning a Model 3 Performance that costs the same as a base price Golf GTI. You need to be nuts buying anything else for the money. I live in Norway.

      you can not compare a tesla EV to real cars. It is just rubbish. Porsche is the first brand, along with Mercedes, that brings real EV cars to the market.
      I own a Model 3 Performance myself. Nothing about it is any good but the range and the straight line performamce. It is no fun on German Landstraßen.

      @@haviiithelegogunner907 Is your 3P made of Lego? I do not agree with you.

    Plus the combustion engine is so reliable on that panamera. What could a rich guy want more?!? Less V8 sound??
    I say enjoy them while they can, they are sooo cool and leave a trail of God like sound, that makes everyone envy.
