    This basic setup is exactly how I started hunting eidolons. Yea it's not "meta" or "fast" but it is safe and helps teach you the basics of the fight as you work towards better gear. Thank Brozime for showing this build as everyone needs to start somewhere.

    • @TheBelgarion18

      Being fast makes frames as volt much more effective against eidolons, if u are new and kinda slow on mechanics and such this build is rock solid but with some faster cleanup lure dont die so using trinity is not mandatory. Capturing teri was awful to watch since Bro can do better😄 overall nice but wierd guide(vet here)
      Also, pick the energy orb dropping off when taking down a limb, u shouldnt run out of energy on voidrig that way

    • @Wooskii1

      It's a great build for sure, the "any- role support build" (shields, limbs, lures, heal/ buff). As a new-ish hunter to another, I highly recommend for pub- think of it as going solo, and if others join and can help then great!
      I use almost the exact same build for public culls- everyone else is already volt anyway lol (or that one guy running around in a Mech the whole time faking it X-D)
      With Voidrig & control of 3+ lures, you can fill any role, quick and easy, to turn it back around (or carry to the end) if the run starts to fall apart/ get out of sync, especially on the 3rd Eido while you finally figure out if the squad can hold their own or not, when quitting is no longer an option. If the Volts are faster than you (they should be, but pub) then just drop dispensary by the shields, sit back, chill, and spam 4 while watching for voms. If not, you can do it yourself...
      I don't use adaptation, has good enough efficiency and a huge pool w/ dispensary, R-2 or 3 Energize, and R-5 Nullify to excessively heal + reduce damage. I always constantly spam 4 anyways just to keep the team alive, no need to even think about the lures' health at that point (just don't park em on the big yellow lazer beams lol).
      I feel like my average pub culls go up to 3 or 4, from 2 or 3 (depending on the squad) and are always more consistent when I use this build over the meta Volt in pub- No running after the 3rd Eido or replacing dead lures.
      The only changes I would make are: 1- add Prime Surefooted if I had it, 2- get that Energize up to rank 5, and 3- unlock the 2nd amp arcane for my 777, otherwise it's near perfect.

    I LOVE soloing the tridolons. From the very first time I stepped foot on the plains and saw Terry stomping around and said "Ima kill it!", soloing the Eidolons has been my chase grind in warframe for a very long time. From the early days of struggling to just kill little old Terry, to double tri captures in a night, the Eidolons have been a constant measure of my skill and power, the elation I felt the first time I soloed Terry, the first time I captured Gary or Harry, have been some of the highest points in warframe for me. Even now im always looking for ways to make the runs a little faster, to eek out just a little more damage. I love those big stompy screaming goofballs. And really I dont want anyone else in the squad diluting the experience.

    18:51 A very niche, but very useful tech in the right circumstances. When you kill a vom’s spectral form, they will drop a short-lived energy sphere that can be picked up by either Warframe or Operator to be manually delivered to a lure.
    This tech comes in very handy if you’re carrying a horde of lures and need to be selective of which lure you want to charge.

    Feedback:
    Eternal Onslaught is better than Virtuous Strike because you can get it without having to go through The Quills grind first (doing eidolons), and doing Zariman missions instead (better for some people new to hunting), Eternal Onslaught is pretty easy to proke and "energy depleted" does not mean 0%, but instead operator energy levels under 10% (or higher?), which are easy to get down with Contamination Wave spam and some void sling energy adjustment (also prokes +amp damage arcane on operator ability cast). Having no +crit chance on amps is bad because you get (Amp Damage * crit damage multiplier * 2) over just (amp damage) on eidolon shields, ultimately making it more effective (also amp orange crits, nice). Non crits do half the damage of crits, something like that. Also Eternal Onslaught does not require energy pads to effectively use as far as I am concerned.
    Contamination Wave works on eidolons for a 50% multiplicative amp damage increase. Should've probably mentioned it at the madurai school part (at 9:20).
    The build is kinda forma expensive. Although I can't really find an effective energy pad free budget build anywhere either.
    Some tips:
    Pro-Tip: You can kill voms with an amp and then pick up the orb it drops to charge lures. It is a bit slower to do that though.
    Trinity is a fine choice for newbies, Volt is much faster though, but requires energy pads (pretty much) and going quick as to not get lures destroyed by Garry's energy pillars (?). Also running Trinity is better because you don't really need Magus Repair with her at all, which skips a whole other grind. People that want to go fast use Volt because amps get +100% critical damage through the shield and propa scaffold not staggering after the projectile passes through the shield. Volt's second ability speed buff also works on archwing speed, making cross map traversal a breeze. (Any movement speed buff on warframe works too, like Amalgam Serration)
    No fast charge sure does make getting a single lure charged a pain. Even some slower fast charge would cut down like 4 minutes out of the mission time just waiting around.
    Running a Kuva Nukor radiation build or a Tenet Cycron radiation build to take care of the voms that are spawned on Eidolon down after all limbs broken and on Eidolon getting up after that would be nice, although 777 amp does that decently as well with its primary fire. (those voms frequently despawn for no reason, so taking care of them early is good).

    • @Wooskii1
      @Wooskii1 Год назад

      Solid advice, you might be surprised at how many people don't know you can kill the vom ghost and pick up it's, um, soul? and dash it to the lure ("WTF you just wasted that vom!" "Nope. Notice that 3rd newly charged lure that's nowhere near the Eido? That's what I did with that vom" lol)
      Does Volt's shield really give +100% crit dmg? I thought it was 50% for some reason (and extra damage w/ electric)

    I've used the laetum on eidolons and it's less annoying than snipers or necramechs for me and more powerful if you keep the galvanize stack on but that's not even necessary, you can charge it by just shooting the small eidolons and even their ghostly form will charge it, combined with amesha to fly, easier to hit the weakspots if you're up close and personal and using it's first ability to not get bumped, it also negates the magnetic proc so you don't need the nullifier arcane and you can stay on the archwing until the eidolon is done getting back up
    you'll do less switching between the warframe and operator and also necramech a bunch of times since archwing is more instant, necramech's good on the last phase of each eidolon since aiming doesn't matter, unlike 28:05 which is why i stopped using it and then you won't don't need to look out for the necramech's energy either, less things to manage, more enjoyable the fight is do solo

  • @Wooskii1
    @Wooskii1 Год назад +2

    Vom spawns are annoying indeed! The spot that was called "Grineer spot in the woods" is the first place I go after marking the Eido because there's almost always 2 voms there, more if you're in a group. Also, after you grab the lure and charge it, you can fly 150m away (lures too) then go back and there's a high chance the lure and voms will respawn (I believe they spawn at 150m) so use your scope at around that distance and slowly move forward to ~120m, if they don't spawn in with the rest of the enemies try slowly going back and forth from ~160m to 140m a couple times to try to force them. Or if you got the lure but not fully charged, turn around 180° facing a bit to left of the "tent near the gate" and look down the hill towards the water (vom spawn) do the same type thing on the far side (gate side) of the lake- Fly with your scope across the water to the left of the tent (vom spawn), make a 90° right and fly to just before the tent (vom spawn) and finally fly to the big pointy rock in front of the gate (#1 vom spawn). Once you figure it out you'll be able to get that 1st lure charged fast every time. Also, if your team is within 150m of a spawn location nothing will respawn there until the area has been clear of players and lures for a bit.

    I honestly have fun doing tridolons solo, but my loadout is a little different. With trin I have max effietency with primed flow and about base duration so I can easily refill and spam blessing and roar as much as I want when there are vomvalysts around to cast energy vampire on. Also I'm using laetum (yes, it has 2 status mods and 1 90 bcs I mostly use it for regulars and I just switch toxin for heat for radiation) for them. I've noticed even if vomvalysts are in ghost form they can easily charge incarnan form if I shoot them. I can easily solo 2 tridolons without breaking a sweat per night, the only issue I have is getting vomvalysts to charge first lure, so no breaking limbs be4 one gets charged. Another pro tip is always have 1 extra lure so you can have a charged one ready for the next one without waiting on the first limb for garry and hydro. By the time you take down all limbs, all lures are gonna be charged, as well as the extra one ready to hold next eidolon in place. I hope these tips will help you.

    What's good about solo guides like this is it teaches everything at once so you can learn the encounter and then go in a group and know what everybody is supposed to be doing. The problem I've noticed with a lot of Warframe RUclipsrs is they're kind of like the devs when it comes to explaining mechanics and just assume everybody has done the thing and are just showing you how to do it better. Either that or they're rambly and unstructured. Actual good guides that go in depth and explain things are rare in this community. This is what I call the ol' reliable for solo eidolon hunts. I can pull 3x3 solo consistently with plenty of time left to spare with a similar loadout, not super fast or super slow but consistent with little headache - which is what I care about the most. The real difference between my loadout and the video is that for my helminth ability I use Eclipse along with changing dynamic lighting under the graphic settings to off - surprisingly this actually works. My sniper reliably one shots with that setup - which is just a typical rad modded Lanka. I leave my Voidrig for Swan Song phase to maintain its energy.
    I'd say even in solo it is best practice not to start with 5 uncharged lures because it'll only slow down the charging process. Although, I suppose it probably doesn't matter too much. I essentially only bring one lure at a time until 2 are fully charged for Terry, which has worked very well for my runs and is usually fairly quick if I approach the first lure to force the vom spawn near it. Once the initial 2 lures are fully charged, THEN that's when I bring 3 more for Gantulyst - usually I do this before I destroy Terry's final Synovia when one of his previous synovia's get taken out. Those 3 lures are almost always filled after Terry's Swan Song with all the vom spawns. Then once Terry dies and just before initiating Gantulyst fight is when I get 3 more lures totaling in 6 lures (3 charged/3 uncharged).
    Similar approach for Gary, his swan song spams vomvalysts so the 3 uncharged get charged during and after that phase - if they're not charged already. Sometimes, after I take care of Gary I get one more lure just in case things go terribly during the Harry fight, totaling in 4 lures (3 charged/ 1 uncharged). However, it's usually unnecessary to have 4 lures for Hydrolyst when I use Trinity.

    I would argue that a Volt basic is a better start. Volt's Electrical Shield is the only frame skill, as you know, that can boost amp damage. Volt also has Shock Trooper to add electrical to the Rubico and allow for a full heat build. In the future, Eclipse can be subsumed over Discharge to make the Trooper Eclipse buff that is extremely powerful. With a decent boost to STR and DUR, Adaptation and a shield mod or two, Volt basic will be fine.
    For amps, I would not suggest a final tier Vox build. Anything with a prism that has 40% critical rate or above, paired with a Lohrin/Certus and whatever utility scaffold you prefer will be a fine investment. That investment pays off more when you have Zariman or other syndicate arcanes to offer more amp damage and operator utility.
    Amesha's full skill kit, especially Benevolent Decoy, can be used to heal lures between shield phases and on the knockdown phase. The Volt can sit in the archwing, throw one Decoy orb and the lures should heal back to full without too much waiting. The 3rd skill negates status and the 4th converts all damage to energy. The 1st skill can be placed on all lures if they need the extra damage negation.
    The Arquebex is a good stand-in for a Rubico (basic or prime) but I suggest more of an AOE archgun on the mech for cleaning vomvalysts and hitting the ones that spawn underneath the eidolons during the knockdown phases. One of them literally spawns inside the eidolon's body so punch helps a lot and so does AOE. Reload speed means more than max ammo on any archgun that is on the Voidrig's main firing arm. Max ammo only helps in atmospheric deployment.
    Trinity is okay but relying too much on her healing or losing the synergy between Electrical Shield and other skills will make you slower in 2x Hydro or 3x Hydro runs. I admit that anything beyond 3x is " Sweaty Tier" but when grinding arcanes and focus, the slower Trinity techniques will hurt your squad.

  • @TyDreacon
    @TyDreacon Год назад +3

    In the case one doesn't have Nullifier, you can use Amesha by hopping into Archwing during the energy spike and using 3+4 for status immunity.
    Also, for Necramech energy, they love energy orbs from Dispensary. If you put down Dispensary and hop into Operator or Necramech, the orbs will float by your Warframe but not get picked up, so you can keep a stockpile of energy for your Necramech to pick up. Important bit there is to keep Dispensary up so it's spewing out orbs all the time, so you can keep both energy pools up.
    Speaking of Necramechs, if you put your Warframe off to the side, you can aim at the Warframe to transfer to it directly from the Necramech and vice versa. Best on flat terrain, but anywhere where you know you can find your Warframe will do.
    If you're at the point of getting Eternal Eradicate at the Zariman, you can also pick up Fractalized Reset, which gives a healthy reload bonus on ability cast - 240% at max rank. Even one of those arcanes gives more reload speed than merciless. Still not needed, but it's an option.

    I personally just use nezha with a bunch of strength and a lil duration replacing his 4 with oberons hemlith ability and the augment for it and the focus school that drains energy to give you the massive damage buff ( i think madurai? But i honestly forgot the name lol). I also just use the vectis prime because f nechramechs lol.
    I use his 1 and 2 for quality of life movement and his 3 just protects me from everything including preventing the energy drain and if i use it to absorb the waves after breaking a limb i get A TON of protection. His 4 just gives me a massive extra radiation buff but i always cast it BEFORE using my operator to break shields that way i can also have the damage buff from my operator ability for breaking limbs since I won't run out of time casting his 4. I do use umbral mods but that is mainly only because I'm umbra obsessed lol.

    A slight point about the math (which I'm sure you know, but communicated incorrectly) - both the health and armour multipliers work at the same time when hitting an armoured enemy - meaning radiation actually does a bonus of (1+0.25)(1+0.75)= +118.75% and ignoring 75% of remaining armour.
    But yeah, I get this is already a simplified version of how to do it solo.

    Zephyr is quite well suited for Eidolons, and is a great budget option. Being in the air will avoid a lot of the damage from gant and hydro, and aim gliding gives you a substantial crit boost for free. You don't need nullifier for the energy bursts, just use tailwind directly upward. The pulse range is about 70 meters in a sphere, and if you're directly upwards, your lures won't move away from the target. I ran solo tricaps with zephyr using a 3-forma Rubico (non-prime), just make sure to run madurai.
