Just ask for help in region chat. Eidolons are not a late game activity. They are just not meant to be solo’d. Years ago it just required skill and cooperation. Everyone just thinks you have to solo them now making it very intimidating for new players to gear towards

Just post "How to do eidolons" putting Begginer on it while you dont have idea that they can't get arcanes easily, or amps, or even Helminth to get the other Warframe ability
Except this level of gear check is outrageous for even a mr 15. Im MR 24 and only just recently unlocked subsuming (returning player), so it is still a bit disingenuous

I haven't been a week in the game, I've been playing wf for years now. My issue is that if you want to learn how to do something in wf from a forum or yt vid, you're going to get someone telling you "you need this specific build with all this things you don't have like mods you can only access after completing the whole start chart and you'll need all the focus tree completed" like, I'm having issues with eidolons, so I need all the focus. How do I farm that? I only get like 1000 per mission and the upgrades are from 98K. "well to farm focus first you need this specific build with all the things you don't have, and it would be good if you already have this section of the focus tree done, now we're going to the last mission of steel path" or some shit like that. Duviri is the first time that I got enormous amounts of focus per run, 60k and I don't need anything.
@@yayco123 @Yayco you've been playing for years, but just finished Zariman? Sounds like a "you" problem, not bad game design. It's called Warfarm for a reason, if grinding isn't your thing, you're playing the wrong game, or you gotta shell out Plat 🤷♂️ hot tip: if you're only getting 1000 focus per mission you are doing something wrong. I get 3k per orb sometimes, and usually see 2-5 orbs even in a quick match. Do you have any focus lenses?
A really good tip: don't solo it go in a squad let the others damage the eidolon while you take care of the lures, damage fase is easy you just need the right gear, but the charging lures is a skill that CARRIES your whole team
I figured that part out today. My whole team never bothered with getting lures, so i did it myself. I also noticed all of them probably did it for the first time. I just wanted to see if id be able to solo the theralyst easily, but forgot to set the party to private xD
Ah yes, i shall not solo it and play with others who 99% of the time are slow and take ages to even put the shard in to start the next stage... No thanks. I'll stick to solo three caps with my nezha for quality of life ✨.
This is probably one of the most overlooked but important parts of the fight and it's incredible how many runs I've had end in a kill instead of a capture because of everyone forgetting to get lures or make sure they are charged, I'm quite guilty of this too I have to admit which is why lure management is part of my dedicated routine now when doing these. I keep them healthy and make sure they get charged, then and only then I use my meta amp and rubico to help take down the eidolon... Have had alot more successful tricaps since doing so. my tip for keeping them alive is to use Nezha's warding halo with safegaurd augment, it does a really good job of keeping them safe and if their ward should go down they get a few seconds of invincibility for you to be able to put it back up.
My biggest problem with the game after 150 hours is how much there is to do, and so much stuff gets introduced with absolutely 0 info given once you've been 'introduced'. Unlocked Arcanes, Eidolons, Helminth, K-Drive, Archwing, Railjack but does it tell you a single thing once you've manufactured it? None. 0. I got the eidolon/arcane thing done and it's like cool go hunt eidolons now, that big thing we just told you to run from in the story mission but totally just go kill it now with 0 idea how to, where to, or anything at all.
Agreed. The First Descendant is an inferior game in every way rn but the onboarding experience is much, MUCH better. No hate though, I enjoy both games, just to be clear
Pretty sure you're not supposed to go kill it after that story mission. You're supposed to rank up the factions in Cetus to get the amp parts that can actually do damage to Eidolons. Ranking those factions up is time gated behind your faction standing cap. Which is anywhere from 15,000 standing a day to 24,000? You need 141,000 to get to the second to last rank and that's not including the points you need to spend to unlock the blueprints you need to build to rank up like the Tear Azurite blueprint. It would take you 7 days at bare minimum if you were mastery rank 15 from the start of grinding. But yes the info is given in the mission but it's a limited time mission so learning on the fly is not a fun time.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Thats a HUGE flaw of warframe. They introduce new massive, complex content and give you zero direction on how to do them. I love warframe but they gotta do something about that. I shouldnt have to refer to google and RUclips every 3 seconds.
Beginner gear guide; 1- Farm max rank Fortuna and get the 177 or the 777, lvl and gild it. 2- Build Voidrig, use 4 w/ radiation 3- Farm Zariman get the 2 arcanes 4- Farm Terry until you have Void strike and Contamination Wave 5- Farm the other 3 and use anti magnetic arcane. That's about as easy as it gets.
I'm MR25 and I have never done this. I did join few public missions for the first guy only, but it was pure chaos. Mission was done in like 2-3 minutes, which always impressed me but just now I feel like I have all the gear, I just need to understand the mechanics more. Thanks for the vid!
“Own everything in the game and max out every focus school” (for beginners) - Every warframe channel catered towards beginners I’ve done the teralyst and hydrolost solo with the sirocco for an amp, and I still don’t own any other amps. With a group of people with sirocco’s we’ve done the 1x3 plus a 1x2 in a night. The reason I don’t own a single other amp other than the mote and sirocco is the absolute fucking pain of attempting to get Cetus wisps. My eyes are not very good so even after watching several videos on how to farm them, I have never found a single one. The only wisps I get are from random bounty rewards
right, every guide is like you need to have all of this, and have learned this from running these in a group. But if you can't get into a group to run them, you can't learn, and can't get into a group because nobody runs them, because to run them you need to have maxed quills, and it is just a huge catch 22 that you can't even get foot into the door with it seems. I've played for YEARS, and only ever got into 2 random public runs. So never any experience to gain from it possible.
This is wild. The meta amp only uses one quill amp part and it's the one you can immediately unlock. The other two are fortyna related. Excuses excuses
I watched this video and tried 2 teralysts, easy. Next night, did 2x3. The point is it might seems tedious but once you did it its easy. Now 6x3 is diff story but im a casual player so 3x3 is good enough and yes i can do 3x3 now in just 3 days…and no im not smart
Honestly this whole guide is how to maximize your eidolon runs. You can get by with much much much less. The meta has changed a ton over the years but it’s content that was easily doable many years ago. It just requires teamwork.
@@Blajah_ Yeah, and if someone is new to Eidolon hunting (not warframe) they aren’t going to have maxed arcanes (You can’t max out the arcanes in the video without eidolon hunting). Why is this so hard for you to understand?!?
Tip: You should NOT use Eclipse when trying to Eidolon Hunt. It is barely going to add to your damage. This is because despite the number displaying that your damage bonus is high, in reality it’s just 10% of what is being displayed (so if it says 300%, you’re only getting a measly 30%). Since Eclipse factors in how much environmental lighting there is when accounting for the damage bonus, the only thing providing the bonus is the light from the moon. So, you’re really getting a weak buff and are much better off subsuming Roar, Smite (because of the augment), or Xata’s Whisper.
If you have a rubico and a frame that has eclipse , you can add Vazarin school on top of that + rolling guard . You void sling thru your frame to add 5 seconds of invulnerability (voidsling thru your frame) and rolll after about 4 seconds adding another 5 seconds of invulnerability. *It works for some people not all *
Finally the best beginners guide…someone explaining the elements that will be used and then explaining the mechanisms. There is no real beginner guide as truthfully you do need a lot of progression to get this stuff but at least this shows where and how to get each element. Great Job bro 😎
I don't like hitting the thumbs down button without offering the creator an explanation: While there is useful information here, this guide fails to deliver as advertised. As a beginner to Eidolons (not to the game, I'm MR16, I just never engaged with the content until recently), the big takeaway for me was "pay to win." Instead of outlining a gameplay path to success, you jumped straight to "lol just buy the stuff you need to hunt Eidolons or else you're going to have a bad time." Another YT search yielded a video half as long as this one that actually DID help me as a beginner without glossing over the fact that a lot of the stuff you recommend for a "beginner" loadout requires farming Eidolons to obtain. Despite how discouraged I was by this guide, I capped my first Teralyst with (non prime) Rhino, Rubico Prime, and a 1-2-2 amp. I appreciate the effort that went into this video, and I don't regret watching it, but "beginners" would be best served looking elsewhere. Maybe come back to this video later.
As a casual hunter, myself I found good success with an amp of any kind, Madurai's actives and a Voidrig built for its Arquebex. I found I don't need any other kit and with no knowledge on how to efficiently charge lures I get consistent 3x3. I'm sure I can push to 4x3 and some change if I can get myself to remember the whole quick charge thing, mostly because the rest are smaller optimizations that do lose the necramech for faster repositioning meaning bothering to bring the right frame and weapon instead of having it all stuffed into your loadout slots and focus, and overall you need an overcaffeinated playstyle which is just not my kind of comfort food. I am confident a player who wants to do casual eidolon hunts can do the minimum farming required for focus and a necramech and solo at least 2x3s or kill a whole bunch of teralysts per night to get started with quills for reputation.
The warframe you choose doesn't matter. Grab a Lure or two. Fill it up if you can before engaging the Eidolon, otherwise capture the Sentients that spawn near it. Alternate between Operator to strip the Eidolon's shields, when it flashes red, hop into your Voidrig's Guardmode and pop one of the Eidolon's limbs. It only takes two hits. Tank the five magnetic bursts and pop back out into Operator mode and repeat until the Eidolon is dead.
The only problem with that is having Voidrig, most beginners won't have even 1 single piece of him But yeah, that is exactly what I do, and it works greats
A slightly different strat that is fairly easy mid-late early game. If you have Deimos unlocked, and have built a necramech, then I recommend using your necramech's 4th ability. Even with basic mods it can easily destroy the limb of an Eidolon in a few seconds.
Love these “beginners” videos All you need is all the mods, maxed rank, catalyst and reactors in multiple weapons, multiple formas in multiple weapons, maxed out focus skill tree, multiple max rank arcanes.
@@deanradley65 wait, i did? you actually need to invest resources into solo farming 4 man high end content? what do you mean i can't just do that at MR2 with my unmodded excal and mk-1 braton?! *shocked pikachu* a beginner guide is a beginner guide, not a single part of his optimized setup is mandatory, you can easily solo 2+ trilodons/night on a fraction of his budget if you actually knew anything about the game, just not as fast. so yeah, stop crying about having to put in some effort. besides, solo trilodons in themselves are not a beginner activity, so if you think a beginner guide for an endgame thing should be about which button makes gun go boom - you need go out more and get some fresh air.

subbed, thank you for the guide, i did tridolons a lot, but I'm super rusty now and lots of new stuff came out into the game looking forward for the rest of the guide parts
tip 1: replace primed shred and hammer shot with vigilante fervor + armaments, if you don't have/cant afford that particular combo fits perfectly on 3 forma, wildly cheaper and more accessible and the difference between p. shred+hammer and fervor+ armaments is 118k burst vs 114k burst, which is next to nothing AND you get the 2p vigilante set bonus (even more if you're also running the dedicated vigilante set sentinel, i roll with a panzer and the 3 forma rubico and still it takes no more than 2-3 shots to pop a hydro synovia) tip 2: consider putting [ambush optics] in the exilus if you're having trouble accurately unloading on the synovias because of the sniper zoom + a close range moving target tip 3: if you're just getting into and learning how-to solo tridolons, consider revenant prime instead of volt prime - currently you can farm him yourself / buy his set for about 45p vs volt's set for 110p, takes 3 forma for a full build, does NOT need a single umbra forma and is *quite* easy to get to 400% ability strength for some absolutely stupid values on eclipse. Yes, rev's slower compared to volt, but is much more forgiving (and cheaper) to use during the learning process and building to the GIGAsweat speed-of-sound 1000 tridolons/second speed addict brain damaged volt builds (advanced) tip 4: if you're using arcane momentum consider primary plated round instead of merciless, an extra 30% reload speed on top of arcane momentum won't make much of a difference, but the bonus damage from plated round will p.s. to the people crying that you actually *need stuff* to effectively solo what was once endgame full squad content - cope, seethe, touch grass and cry more
Holy cow, talk about overwhelming. Kinda makes me want to do anything but hunt eidolons, however I do need to improve my operator for The Sacrifice. I tried doing the second Umbra encounter with my operator as is and it was painful.
If your not a fan of Rubico, go Buzlok, if you don’t like either of then, a Stropha or Redeemer with radiation and a heavy attack build will deal high damage to the nodes, used a Shock Trooper Chroma with a Redeemer Prime and dealt heavy damage to the joints.
Do not listen to this. Do not use Chroma for Hunts he is not remotely good for doing them and I don't know what these weapons recommendations are? I'd say the best weapon after Rubico Vectis (or also Redeemer like you named) not whatever else you just named. You must not have played WF and/or don hunts for a while.
Yeah, these guys making it seem like you absolutely need the same exact setup is very offputing to me, I did the best build with what I had on me and it was fine. Sure I'm not running it in record time but Im not a speedrunner.
Chroma ain’t the best for Eidolons though. Gaining stacks of Fury is just too inconsistent for what’s needed. If self-damage still existed, then yeah I think he’d be a good investment.
For any beginners go watch this to see what to do and what to work towards then just go to public lobbies and help as much as you can most the time someone in the group could solo if needed
Way too much bs to kill these for a new player. me looking for a guide for beginners the guide: rare mods and a shit ton of forma grinding and volt prime jokes aside this was still really helpful, thanks!
I first hunted my teralyst after doing new war and getting sirocco just a few days ago. Only now am i grinding and getting into modular thingies. Like grinding standings for amps. I'm making it do with my 123 to hunt eidolons for now. Still better than fcking mote lol. Took 10 mins for teralyst the first time with sirocco. Lol i also bounded my archwing to V, B for tranq rifle, Z for necramech and N for sunpoint plasma gun.
It's incredible how far you can get in Warframe and never even touch some of the content. I'm MR 18 and I've never done an eidolon hunt, I just got my first Hate blueprint from the stalker yesterday, and I have more prime frames than I do OG frames cause I haven't done the quests yet 🙃
I would love to do eidolons but it doesnt look fun at all. Lure management to me is like 80 percent of the battle and i just dont like it, its boring and a chore. The gear requirement for me is easy. If they ever got rid of lures i think eidolons will be the most fun thing to do in the game.
Bro for a beginners guide there are some mods you got on that are pretty damn hard to get unless you play specifically the open worlds for days. Or pay platinum from a trade, and no offense for “beginners” you should be like, yeah just forma this frame and weapon 8 times
Thanks for the guide flo ,I didn't know amps have alt fire modes and i really needed that rubico build. also IS THAT THE THEME FROM THE HIT GAME BATLLEBLOCK THEATRE
@@kerjataksiap5618 No for Eidos as well. Because it shouldn’t matter since you shouldn’t be using your primary fire in the first place. If you are trying to get the best times and you use your primary then you messed up anyways and it doesn’t matter. I almost never have to use my primary fire so might at well just have the 777 on 24/7
You don’t actually need most of the stuff he is talking about. All you really need is Voidrig (Necramech) and any Amp which isn’t the Mote Amp. I use 1-1-1, which you can get very early on. It makes decent enough damage to take the shields down and due to long range you can keep a great distance to not get killed. Once the shields are down, you jump into Voidrig and go into Guard Mode. The Arquebex will shred the Eidolon into pieces in no time. Voidrig is also not affected by the Eidolons energy drain . It doesn’t matter which Warframe or focus school you are using since you are mostly only switching between Operator and Voidrig. I use Rhino as my main and Zenik school and I only need about 5-10 minutes for an Eidolon solo run. It’s really not that hard as these videos suggest.
You can farm and trade prime parts from relics, you can trade rivens, you can trade rare mods (converting all of this to platinum adds up fast). There are so many tools to price check and identify what something is worth as well. You do not at all have to spend real money. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I would start with Warframe Market.
@@spacecatbearz No, but somebody has to. Basically if you're a true solo player you're kinda fucked and have to rely on trading for premium currency that SOMEONE ELSE BOUGHT in order to get the things you need.

Honestly i just need to know how to find them after they run away lol. Literally don't need a crazy build like this, btw, just an orokin reactor Necramech and you're just fine. Also complete New War so you get a free Sirocco.
I could be wrong (but don't think I am) but you do NOT need a charged lure or a lure at all to kill a teralyst. I'm still working my way up and your video's helping me learn a lot about where I have gaps in my knowledge but I've taken out a teralyst without a lure several times solo. Naturally, for me, it takes a lot longer than it would for someone with better equipment but I'm almost certain it didn't require a lure at all.
@@ToxInherit I'm sorry you're upset, but accuracy is kinda important in an informative video. On watching it back, I think Flo just mistakenly said kill rather than capture. Nothing about my comment was saying eidolon lures are useless.
Hey Flo, thx for your guide so far. It helped me so much with being able to have fun in Eidolons hunts. I really hate to leech off of people in public lobbies and always try to inform myself on at least the basic mechanics of a fight. Your videos help a lot with that. Now my question: I always struggle with my Rubico Prime damage on the synovias. Need like 10 shots to get one down. I have the same build as you. At 15:35 you deal a 170k in one shot. Can u explain that? I also use your Volt Build and stuff but cant manage to deal the damage on my sniper. I almost fucked up a few hydrolysts because of lacking damage. Is it the stacking Contamination Wave? I first thought you might use multiple charged Volt shields but u only use one... I really cant figure it out.
Love the videos very helpful for sure and informative now… with that said when you are showing the builds and if someone decides to take a pause screenshot it is not easy to avoid not seeing some mods because of the excessive mouse overs I know they are umbral mods but I don’t need to see them fully 13 times in 2 seconds 😂
Interestingly enough, everybody goes for eclipse while Oberon's Smite adds thicc rad bonus to whatever weapon you're using. Gonna try your build I guess and see if it's better than my smite build :)

A really good tip:
don't solo it
go in a squad let the others damage the eidolon while you take care of the lures, damage fase is easy you just need the right gear, but the charging lures is a skill that CARRIES your whole team
I figured that part out today. My whole team never bothered with getting lures, so i did it myself. I also noticed all of them probably did it for the first time. I just wanted to see if id be able to solo the theralyst easily, but forgot to set the party to private xD
whoever wants to will can do them solo
Ah yes, i shall not solo it and play with others who 99% of the time are slow and take ages to even put the shard in to start the next stage...
No thanks. I'll stick to solo three caps with my nezha for quality of life ✨.
3 other AFK Wukong with Kuva Zarr:
That's why RUclipsrs make a full time career from making guides😂
Damn. So true. Been playing for almost a year now but damn, this game needs some direction.
Beginner gear guide;
1- Farm max rank Fortuna and get the 177 or the 777, lvl and gild it.
2- Build Voidrig, use 4 w/ radiation
3- Farm Zariman get the 2 arcanes
4- Farm Terry until you have Void strike and Contamination Wave
5- Farm the other 3 and use anti magnetic arcane.
“Own everything in the game and max out every focus school” (for beginners) - Every warframe channel catered towards beginners
I’ve done the teralyst and hydrolost solo with the sirocco for an amp, and I still don’t own any other amps.
So never any experience to gain from it possible.
fr, just came back to the game and I'm fucking off again because every system in warframe is like this
do bounties
This is wild. The meta amp only uses one quill amp part and it's the one you can immediately unlock. The other two are fortyna related. Excuses excuses
As a returning player... That's pretty damn complex 🤣 but thanks

Wait…so to kill eidolons, I need maxed arcanes that drop from eidolons?!?😂

So, you’re really getting a weak buff and are much better off subsuming Roar, Smite (because of the augment), or Xata’s Whisper.
well it works for me

Finally the best beginners guide…someone explaining the elements that will be used and then explaining the mechanisms. There is no real beginner guide as truthfully you do need a lot of progression to get this stuff but at least this shows where and how to get each element. Great Job bro 😎
And a lot of that progression came way after Eidolons were in the game.
Insane guide, thank you
The only problem with that is having Voidrig, most beginners won't have even 1 single piece of him
But yeah, that is exactly what I do, and it works greats
A slightly different strat that is fairly easy mid-late early game. If you have Deimos unlocked, and have built a necramech, then I recommend using your necramech's 4th ability. Even with basic mods it can easily destroy the limb of an Eidolon in a few seconds.
This is exactly how I downed my first Teralyst.
So so so so execesive
Idk how you managed to fit hundreds of words in the fighting segment
Love these “beginners” videos

a beginner guide is a beginner guide, not a single part of his optimized setup is mandatory, you can easily solo 2+ trilodons/night on a fraction of his budget if you actually knew anything about the game, just not as fast. so yeah, stop crying about having to put in some effort. besides, solo trilodons in themselves are not a beginner activity, so if you think a beginner guide for an endgame thing should be about which button makes gun go boom - you need go out more and get some fresh air.
@@machopiWhere does it say SOLO guide? Not a single part is mandatory? He LITERALLY SAYS things are mandatory 😂
Do you see why we’re criticizing the guide and not the activity? It’s a bad guide.
It’s filled with overly complicated advanced tactics like “switch operator faster” focused on speed running while failing to drill in the basic mechanics and stretching it out over 20 minutes.
I literally have everything in this guide and it’s still a crap guide. Because it isn’t just about the gear req it’s about the presentation - which is presented as a speed run with advanced tactics that fails to explain basic mechanics and WHY they need to be performed.

I just got back into Warframe by doing a cross-save migration, that being said I think my head just exploded watching this "beginners guide".

In order to hunt eidolons for arcanes, you must already have arcanes. Severely counter productive
tip 1: replace primed shred and hammer shot with vigilante fervor + armaments, if you don't have/cant afford that particular combo
fits perfectly on 3 forma, wildly cheaper and more accessible and the difference between p. shred+hammer and fervor+ armaments is 118k burst vs 114k burst, which is next to nothing AND you get the 2p vigilante set bonus (even more if you're also running the dedicated vigilante set sentinel, i roll with a panzer and the 3 forma rubico and still it takes no more than 2-3 shots to pop a hydro synovia)
tip 2: consider putting [ambush optics] in the exilus if you're having trouble accurately unloading on the synovias because of the sniper zoom + a close range moving target
tip 3: if you're just getting into and learning how-to solo tridolons, consider revenant prime instead of volt prime - currently you can farm him yourself / buy his set for about 45p vs volt's set for 110p, takes 3 forma for a full build, does NOT need a single umbra forma and is *quite* easy to get to 400% ability strength for some absolutely stupid values on eclipse. Yes, rev's slower compared to volt, but is much more forgiving (and cheaper) to use during the learning process and building to the GIGAsweat speed-of-sound 1000 tridolons/second speed addict brain damaged volt builds
(advanced) tip 4: if you're using arcane momentum consider primary plated round instead of merciless, an extra 30% reload speed on top of arcane momentum won't make much of a difference, but the bonus damage from plated round will
p.s. to the people crying that you actually *need stuff* to effectively solo what was once endgame full squad content - cope, seethe, touch grass and cry more
Points and laughs... At you. 🤣😂🤣😂
Been playing for 7 years and thought i had enough gear to get into eidolon hunting, boy was i wrong
@@DatManJB I play outside the box of Eidolon hunting thank you very much, not a meta slave

So the beginners guild is spending real money to get the equipment as it only drops from the content you are describing, doesn't sound very beginner.

I started playing Warframe again after I quite before POA got released. 1st amp, chroma, vectus prime, no newer mods nor arcanes or madurai maxed, but I'm still able to kill this mofo at least 2 times a night. Need 30 shards to max out quills standing ugh...
Sorry, but this guide is definitively not for a beginner. This is basically just "How to buy your way to being ready to do Eidolons."
It requires going through most of the game, investing a lot of real world money (if following your method since you didn't list where to find anything without buying it), and having already completed a hefty amount of Necralisk.
