Composite or component on the crt? I just got a ps2 again, but I only have a modern hd flatscreen. But I don't think it would feel right playing ps2 on it. Plus from all research ive done, ps2 seems to look better on crt with component or scart connections.
with that size of CRT it really doesn't matter, I have two more larger CRTs now with component and composite, but I mainly use composite because it barely makes a difference and I record gameplay with a VCR. when it comes to flatscreen, component is necessary and you should use an external de-interlacer such as OSSC for decent results. the rule of thumb is CRT will always be the best way to represent analogue image, then OSSC with component, then everything else under this is not good enough for my standards.
@@greyskiesrainfallandpeace3006 oh? Just see alot of people saying component is the way to good on them. Spose ill try pick up a tv with both and see for myself. Cables arent that expensive. Any games youd reccomend as must plays?

This console gives me the most genuine nostalgia in 2009, especially because of Gran Turismo 4... And I love the menu noise the most! 😇
Ps2 had such a beautiful design. I hope the ps5 is very similar to it.
unfortunately it's a spaceship, just like most things these days. even car designs are looking like it. :/
I mean the PS2 design isn't even original, it was taken from a cancelled Atari computer so there's that.
