I like how they split up the solo so that no one is the "lead" or "Rhythm" which is great so that me and my guitar pal don't have to fight over playing solos. This band is just so awesome, definitely on my top fives, maybe threes.
the last tour they played he used a splawn nitro with sovtek kt88 tubes in it. and he says that its effing great. but joel takes like 4-5 amps out per tour i hear and usually picks 2 to use and the other ones are in case the other 2 blow up.

because i learned about it and my brothers endorsed by companies. depending on your level of endorsement you can be endorsed by caparison and use a non caparison guitar. its complicated stuff

I have their presets on my Line 6 spider IV 75 watt amp. Which KSE setting is it? is it the "Killswitch Engage" one cause there was like "Mr Clean" and "Dirty Bird" and some other ones. Any thoughts?
so u meen there in cgcfad still but he just winds the c (low) to d? if so, i domt think so because in droped tuningss and open powerchord is the top and second string open, and they do that before they start the song, and if it was dgcfad playing the top and second strings wouldnt be a powerchord.
this is odd,i looked at the dvd now, and uhh u are right, but when they do the 3rd fret g string squeel (g string in standard but f string in the tuning) they sound alot higher then the songs in C, yet there the same pitch..., weird
yeah i mean im a cannibal corpse lover and death metal head period, i love the brutal shit. but as a guitar player ive kinda grown onto good song structure as long as it stays heavy while doing so im a big time fan of these dudes. nobody realizes what a genius these guys truely are

joel got is a great guitarist his style is awesome ur style needs to be inspired if u wannna be good its sure we will see and heard similarity with other popular metal band but killswitch is awesome

that melodic riff is just perfect. they have a few riffs like that, that just blow you away. the chrous riff in a bid farewell is another example
I love that they have so much fun playing. Adams solo in this is reaches ludicrous speed at one point too.
