WillFTWin not really. See, the thing about Deadpool is that he was never Rated-R. He was quirky, wacky, sarcastic, and over the top, but never truly Rated-R like the film. The key to the character is his self awareness to everything going on, not his foul language or violent tendencies. That's what makes Deadpool, Deadpool. So you can easily have him involved in the MCU barely pushing the envelope into Rated-R territory but still staying in the PG realms while still essentially maintaining what makes the character so great.
I could just see him trying to swear. The studio bleep him out and have him break the 4th wall to complain about how they are ruining his character... It would be a great way to tell the fans that they know they are censoring him. It might be even funnier if they have him kill people and they are forced to blur everything and have him freak out. People tend to greatly exaggerate how "R-rated" Deadpool is suppose to be. Deadpool comics are mostly targeted for teens. I'm not saying Deadpool movies need to be PG-13, but it wouldn't be out of place for him to appear in the MCU.

I have been watching all these Avengers video's. i noticed something none of you are talking about. when nick fury dies at the end credits from thano's finger snap he pushes a button on a weird pager and it shows captin marvels logo, here is what i noticed. that weird pager has 3 buttons on it. he pushes 1 button it shows the logo, but the other two buttons are still blinking,...who are the other 2 super hero's he could have activated and will we see them??
I have made this comment on so many Avengers videos and know one is picking up on it. Deadpool and Cable mess up their time machine, ripping a hole in time. Deadpool then makes Cable get all the X-Men into on central area because the Avengers need help defeating Thanos. He does so and an epic battle between good and evil happens. Everything goes to crap. The earth then is almost destroyed, but Deadpool stops Thanos, along with other superheroes, along with the red guy in a pricey red machine.
If he was in an Avengers movie he wouldn't play a big part and he wouldn't need to be over the top rated R in an Avengers movie. PG-13 rating lets him get away with some cursing and he's also pretty good without being over the top. It would fit perfectly
I really love the mentions of people thinking Deadpool can't be in the MCU because of the children. We have to protect the precious children! My fellow humans, children must never find out Deadpool exists! If they do, then they will be subject to things they will see in tons of other movies, language that they've already heard at school, and references that are too dated for them to understand! I mean... there are also laws. If you end up putting Deadpool in something that's aimed at kids too, then it will either not be available for kids anymore cuz of the R-rating or it will be toned down to fit availability for children. That said, it's not impossible. He's been in CARTOONS. It's not like he HAS to curse and show sexual content and be gory to be good. Sure that's what a lot of people want, but as you pointed out, it's not that big of a deal to have, which means it's not that big of a deal to lose. If deadpool is in the MCU he will be in a standalone movie if they want to make an R rating of it. Problem is Disney is not fond of R ratings. So the chances of both things happening is too low. As much as I want it to happend I'm not gonna pretend and wait for no reason.

Dylan, they are owned by Marvel. They're not owned by Disney, there's a difference. The film rights to those character were sold to various companies before Disney bought out Marvel. Marvel still owns the rights to those characters, Disney just doesn't have the film rights because of pre-existing contracts with other studios. When those contracts expire the film rights will automatically revert to Disney who now own Marvel. I don't know why people keep insisting that they're not Marvel characters just because Disney doesn't have the film rights. If they're not Marvel then why do all the movies still start out by showing the Marvel logo? Fantastic Four, X-Men, Deadpool, Spider-man and anything else not currently in the MCU are still Marvel properties, they just aren't part of the Disney universe. A good example of a Marvel character reverting back to Disney is Ghost Rider. The movies were not made by Disney but Agents of SHIELD seems to be suggesting that they are part of that universe now because an unseen Ghost Rider who appears to be wearing the same costume as Nicholas Cage was responsible for Robby Reyes becoming the current Ghost Rider. They haven't outright said that other Ghost Rider was Johnny Blaze but given his appearance and the motorcycle, it has to be. And I think the didn't show his face just because it would be too expensive to get Nicholas Cage to appear in the series. They are on a more limited budget than the movies. It can't be because of film rights because then they couldn't use Ghost Rider at all. Also Spider-man has recently made it into the MCU despite Sony owning the film rights. It was thought for a long time that he would never join the Avengers but he did. So why are people still arguing that this can never happen? It is possible that Deadpool and the X-Men could cross over into the MCU at some point. Technically it's already a thing because Quicksiver and Scarlet Witch are X-Men characters. Though they have limitations like the fact that as it stands now they're not allowed to call them Mutants and they can't mention who their father is. (Magneto) But this is temporary. Once Disney gets the film rights to all of the Marvel characters then they can do whatever they want.

I think if you give him good action even without the gore, and you give him a witty personality even without the cursing, he can still be good. And he'd have the opportunity to point out that it was a merging between studios since he can break the 4th wall. If deadpool is in the MCU he will be in a standalone movie if they want to make an R rating of it. Problem is Disney is not fond of R ratings. So the chances of both things happening is too low. As much as I want it to happend I'm not gonna pretend and wait for no reason.

Dylan, they are owned by Marvel. They're not owned by Disney, there's a difference. The film rights to those character were sold to various companies before Disney bought out Marvel. Marvel still owns the rights to those characters, Disney just doesn't have the film rights because of pre-existing contracts with other studios. When those contracts expire the film rights will automatically revert to Disney who now own Marvel.
I don't know why people keep insisting that they're not Marvel characters just because Disney doesn't have the film rights. If they're not Marvel then why do all the movies still start out by showing the Marvel logo? Fantastic Four, X-Men, Deadpool, Spider-man and anything else not currently in the MCU are still Marvel properties, they just aren't part of the Disney universe.
A good example of a Marvel character reverting back to Disney is Ghost Rider. The movies were not made by Disney but Agents of SHIELD seems to be suggesting that they are part of that universe now because an unseen Ghost Rider who appears to be wearing the same costume as Nicholas Cage was responsible for Robby Reyes becoming the current Ghost Rider. They haven't outright said that other Ghost Rider was Johnny Blaze but given his appearance and the motorcycle, it has to be. And I think the didn't show his face just because it would be too expensive to get Nicholas Cage to appear in the series. They are on a more limited budget than the movies. It can't be because of film rights because then they couldn't use Ghost Rider at all.
Also Spider-man has recently made it into the MCU despite Sony owning the film rights. It was thought for a long time that he would never join the Avengers but he did. So why are people still arguing that this can never happen? It is possible that Deadpool and the X-Men could cross over into the MCU at some point. Technically it's already a thing because Quicksiver and Scarlet Witch are X-Men characters. Though they have limitations like the fact that as it stands now they're not allowed to call them Mutants and they can't mention who their father is. (Magneto) But this is temporary. Once Disney gets the film rights to all of the Marvel characters then they can do whatever they want.
Sorry but when did I say they are not marvel characters? I know the whole situation of Marvel selling the rights to some characters to some companies, Disney owning Marvel yada yada yada. That is my point for saying that X-men, F4 and just anything with their rights not under Marvel are not apart of the MCU because the whole of the MCU is all movies made by Marvel studios because they have the rights. You can't "secretly" have Deadpool apart of the MCU when the character is owned by a separate company, what if they have conflicting ideas? It ruins the continuity. The best way to ensure everything is connected and making sense is to have the MCU consist of only movies and characters Marvel studios themselves own and not outside companies, which again was my point from the beginning, What was yours?
