I loved the number of references in this movie. The plot was nonsense, but damn if all the jokes and action werent just deliciously gratuitous. The shawarma scene had me rolling. That was my favorite post credits scene in the MCU movies.
Of all the things I could have been concerned about, Emma Corrine's portrayal of Cassandra Nova was the only one I cared most about getting right. Her performance was absolutely delightful, and I can't wait to see her take on the X-Men proper.
You also didn’t mention the fact that the sling ring had 2 infinity stones on it. The time stone and the reality stone. Which is how she was able to open a portal to an alternate dimension and through time. Remember in the last Dr Strange film where they said you can’t travel through the multi-verse and that sling rings can only take you to other dimensions or adjacent universes, but not other realities.

Flawless! ***SPOILERS*** This film was everything that Multiverse of Madness (MoM) wasn't (but promised to be). Almost as though Marvel is redeeming themselves by giving fans the Multiverse film they anticipated so much for. I am one of those disappointed fans as I have been watching Marvel since the very first Spiderman film, not to mention the 90s cartoons and PlayStation games. Like MoM there isn't much actual Multiverse hopping, but unlike it; the whole plot is about the Multiverse. MoM destroyed a fan favourite Wanda whereas this film left alone a fan favourite Wolverine and borrowed a different one from the Multiverse. That's what MoM should have done with Wanda. MoM promised to be a cameo fest, but the cameos were rather underwhelming to say the least, and we simply didn't care about too many of them. However, the cameos here were truly fan service and breathtaking, and just when you thought they couldn't do any better, they outdid themselves; I am looking at Chris Evans catching the fans off guard with his double portrayal. Then there's returning legacy actors such as Dafne Keen, Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, Aaron Stanford and Wesley Snipes! Anyone absent was either heavily referenced or shown in video. 10/10 from me!

With the sling ring, I feel like it shouldn't work at the end of time, because the portals are only supposed to warp space. Not time or dimensions/realities. But as a reality bending omega level being, she can "just make it work" not a good explanation, but a head cannon that at covers up a plot hole
